New Step for Duelists is a Selection Pack in the video game Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. It was released in-game on February 14, 2023.

Legendary monsters featured in the 1st Anniversary Pack that have played various roles in the manga and anime.
Also includes cards related to these monsters and is recommended for those who want to try out new Deck-building techniques.
Get some new cards and step up your Dueling!Royal Straight Slasher
A Level 6 Warrior-Type monster that is Special Summoned by the effect of "Royal Straight."
If you have all three of "Queen's Knight," "King's Knight," and "Jack's Knight" in your Graveyard, you can activate its powerful effect in your Main Phase by sending 5 Level 1-5 monsters from your hand and your Deck to the Graveyard to destroy all cards on your opponent's field. As long as the Level of the monsters sent to your Graveyard meets the requirement, it is possible to send a non-Warrior-Type monster to your Graveyard, so it is recommended to send one with an effect you can trigger.
Slifer the Sky Dragon
A Level 10 Divine-Beast-Type monster.
It has five effects, two of which are particularly noteworthy.
One changes this card's ATK/DEF based on the number of cards in your hand. The more cards you keep in your hand, the stronger this card will be.
The other effect is one that always triggers when an opponent's monster is successfully Normal or Special Summoned in Attack Position. The monster's ATK is reduced by 2000, and if reduced to 0 as a result, it will be destroyed. This way, you can greatly reduce the power of your opponent's monsters!
Whether you can fully utilize this card's divine power will be a true test of your Dueling skill!
Ancient Fairy Dragon
A Level 7 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster with two effects.
One Special Summons a monster of Level 4 or lower from your hand in your Main Phase 1, although if you use it, you cannot carry out your Battle Phase. Besides enabling further Synchro Summons, it also supports various tactics that use multiple monsters on the field.
The other effect destroys all cards in both Field Zones and restores your LP by 1000. 1 Field Spell with a different name than the destroyed card(s), can then be added from your Deck to your hand, allowing you to deal with your opponent's Field Spell Cards or support your tactics if your Deck utilizes multiple Field Spell Cards.
Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos
A Level 7 Dragon-Type monster.
It has four diverse effects: it can Special Summon itself from your hand or your Graveyard; return to your hand in your opponent's End Phase if Special Summoned; be discarded along with a FIRE monster to destroy a card on the field; and allow you to add a FIRE Dragon-Type monster from the Deck to your hand if it is banished. Only one of these effects can be used per turn. These are powerful effects, but the key to making this monster work for you is to determine where this monster is and which effects you can draw out to create a more favorable situation.
Red Nova Dragon
A Level 12 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster that is Synchro Summoned with two Tuners and "Red Dragon Archfiend" as Synchro Materials.
Due to the Continuous Effect this monster has, it cannot be destroyed by your opponent's effects, and its ATK increases according to the number of Tuners in your Graveyard. Since multiple Tuners are used to Synchro Summon this monster, its ATK can even exceed 5000.
If an opponent's monster with more ATK than this monster attacks, it can be banished to activate an effect to prevent the attack. The banished monster returns to the field in the End Phase of that turn, so use it to help defeat your opponent on your next turn.
Each pack contains 8 cards. The rarities are guaranteed as follows:
- The eighth card in each pack is R rarity or higher.
- If 10 packs are purchased at once, the eighth card of the 10th pack is instead guaranteed to be SR rarity or higher.
