Climax of the Showdown is a Selection Pack in the video game Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. It was released in-game on June 8, 2023.

Harnessing the power of both light and darkness, the almighty dragon king "Bystial" descends from a hole in the sky. As if guided by his appearance, the elite forces of the "Tri-Brigade," "Springans," and other heroes gather as this decisive battle intensifies.
In another world, the ever popular "Abyss Actor" passionately performs their new act.

A Level 8 Dragon-Type monster with two major effects that is the mainstay of the new "Bystial" theme.
One such effect is the ability to send itself from your hand to the Graveyard. This will allow you to add another "Bystial" monster to your hand from the Deck to advance your strategy.
The other effect activates in the Monster Zone, which allows you to place a "Branded" Continuous Spell Card or Continuous Trap Card faced-up on your field from your Deck to reinforce your supporting cards.
This monster itself can be Special Summoned from your hand or from the Graveyard by Tributing a DARK Dragon-Type monster with Level 6 or above from your Monster Zone. This will give you a chance to utilize both of the mainstay effects.
Granguignol the Dusk Dragon
A Level 8 Spellcaster-Type Fusion monster with an effect that bonds the "Dogmatika" and "Despia" themes.
If this monster is successfully Fusion Summoned, it can send a LIGHT or DARK monster with Level 6 or higher from your Deck or Extra Deck to the Graveyard. This effect can be used for monsters with effects that activate from the Graveyard, or for tactics that utilize monsters in the Graveyard.
There is another noteworthy effect available here. When a monster is Special Summoned by a monster effect activated by the opponent, an effect triggers that banishes this monster from the Monster Zone or the Graveyard, and allows you to Special Summon a "Dogmatika" monster from your Deck or a "Despia" monster from your Extra Deck.
Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II
A Link 5 Winged Beast-Type Link Monster that strengthens "Tri-Brigade" Decks.
To Special Summon this monster from your Extra Deck, you must have three or more "Tri-Brigade" Spell/Trap Cards in your Graveyard. However, once deployed on the field, you can expect it turn the tide of battle!
This monster has a high ATK of 3500. In order to penetrate through tougher enemies, utilize the effect that activates when a monster declares an attack and banishes this monster and all cards on your opponent's field. If there are other monsters in your field, this powerful effect can force an opening for others to attack, in exchange for itself.
Gigantic "Champion" Sargas
A Rank 8 Machine-Type Xyz Monster with an effect that bonds the "Springans" and "Therion" themes.
This monster can be Xyz Summoned in two ways: by placing two or more Level 8 monsters in your Monster Zone, or by stacking it on top of a faced-up "Springans" Xyz Monster in your Monster Zone.
If this monster has at least one Xyz Material, you can activate an effect during your Main Phase that adds 1 "Springans" card or 1 "Therion" card from the Deck to your hand.
Additionally, you can activate another powerful effect that activates when a Xyz Material is removed from the field. It can either destroy a card on the field or return it to its owner's hand.
Abyss Actor - Super Producer
A Link-2 Fiend-Type Link Monster that strengthens "Abyss Actor" Decks.
This can be Link Summoned with two monsters, as long as it includes a Fiend-Type monster. This monster can be easily deployed in the early stages of a Duel.
In addition, this has an Quick Effect that activates in your or your opponent's Main Phase. This allows you to either destroy a face-up card on your field and put a "Abyss Playhouse - Fantastic Theater" card from the Deck into your Field Zone, or place an "Abyss Actor" Pendulum Monster from the Deck into your Pendulum Zone.
Essentially, it is a powerful and versatile tool to have when you need to pull important cards in a time of need, and prepare the stage for victory.
Each pack contains 8 cards. The rarities are guaranteed as follows:
- The eighth card in each pack is R rarity or higher.
- If 10 packs are purchased at once, the eighth card of the 10th pack is instead guaranteed to be SR rarity or higher.
