Recently, I (Messengerofthedark) and seemingly Runer, have become busy and have struggled to keep up on the WDC. So, to help us out, we have added Trivi-AM to our team to help us stay on top of it. It has become a very active section lately, and we needed help, so, thanks Triv!

--This is the second installment of WDC--

Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Weekly Deck Competition Forum. This is a place for competitive deck making competitions for Yu-Gi-Oh! players. Please read the Overview and the Information before continuing on to the competition.

Overview

The Weekly Deck Competition is a community program that allows deckbuilders to take part in a weekly deck competition, as the title suggests. It was originally started by Chris427, but it ran dry after a few weeks. Later, Runer5h and Messengerofthedark restarted this with support Chris427, but that also ended after a few weeks.
Now, Ace and BF2 have restarted this program with support from Runer5h and Trivi-AM.
Every week there will be a new post that will present a challenge. The number of contestants will change depending on the competition and how many users we have. Please note that all challenges are in advanced format and will accept OCG cards.Voting by the general public will commence and will be shown at the bottom of the contest's main weekly competition. The winner, unfortunately, does not receive any amazing prize but a nice honor of winning a fun competition.
The goal is to encourage creative deck building and to give the community a fun experience.

How to Enter

 • Before you wish to enter a deck competition, you must enter your name on the contestants page.
 • Most of the competition forums will have a section entitled "Contestants", or something like that. Post your name there if you wish to enter.
 • Posting must only regard the Weekly Deck Competition.

Disqualification

An entrant can disqualify themselves for their own reasons. However, you can be disqualified for other reasons:

 • Failure to enter your deck by the deadline: Although we are fairly forgiving of slightly late entries, eventually you have to post or be removed from the competition.
 • Editing your deck list after the post: Once is alright; we'll just revert the edit. Twice or more? Disqualified.
 • Failure to comply with the format: Don't use banned cards, or you'll be banned! (Unless, of course, the contest is in traditional format.)
 • Voting for yourself, especially more than once: I shouldn't have to say this, as it would be dishonoring to others, but I was approached by my own brother as a way for him to win, but NO SELF VOTING.
 • Early Entry: This isn't too big of a problem, but post as close to the deadline as possible, take your time and think your deck over. Posting too early will result in disqualification.

Further Questions

If you have other questions about the deck competitions, ask either of the WDC Heads, Runer5h, Trivi-AM, or Messengerofthedark.

Good luck and have fun!

Collapsible Deck Box

If you would like to use this collapsible deck box, copy and paste the below codes and text accordingly to the correct section of the weekly competition post. Don't forget to use an enter and an asterisk (*) after each card. It is preferred that you include links to each card. This you can do by putting double square brackets around each card name.
