"Soul of the Supreme King" is the one hundred and forty-third episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. It first aired in Japan on February 19, 2017.
In order to bring back Riley's smile, who willingly became a sacrifice in order to help Yuya and save Zuzu, who has disappeared, Yuya resolves to fight against Gong, who still remains on the field.

Turn 8: Yuya
Yuya changes Performapal Hip Hippo and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to Defense Position. He then Sets 1 card.
Turn 9: Gong
Gong Normal Summons his Tuner Monster Superheavy Samurai Kobu-C (900/???) in Attack Position. He then uses Superheavy Samurai Kobu-C to attack Performapal Hip Hippo, destroying it. Next, he uses Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei to attack and destroy Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. With the effect of Superheavy Samurai Soulhorns equipped to Big Benkei, Big Benkei can attack twice per battle phase. Gong activates its effect to attack Yuya directly, but Yuya manages to find and activate the Action Card 'Evasion', negating the attack.
Gong responds by activating Kobu-C's effect, since it destroyed a Monster this turn, allowing him to Synchro Summon during the Battle Phase. Gong Synchro Summons Superheavy Samurai Steam Fiend Tetsudo'o in Defense Position (2000/4800). Like Big Benkei, Tetsudo'o can attack while in Defense Position, so he attacks Yuya directly.
Yuya manages to find another 'Evasion' but Gong finds and activates the Action Card 'No Action', negating Yuya's Action Card. Yuya activates his face-down 'Performapal Signal' in response, allowing him to draw 1 card and send it to the Graveyard. If it's a Performapal Monster, the attack is negated but if it's a Spell, Trap or non-Performapal Monster card, the attack continues. Yuya draws Performapal Sword Fish and sends it to the Graveyard, thus negating the attack.
Gong activates Tetsudo'o's effect, allowing him to Banish all Spell/Trap cards from his Graveyard and inflict 200 damage for each Banished one. He currently has one, so Yuya takes 200 damage (Yuya: 900 → 700).
Turn 10: Yuya
Yuya Pendulum Summons Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in Attack Position (2500/2000) from his Extra Deck and then activates the Continous Spell 'Pendulum Illusion'. He then attacks Tetsudo'o with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and activates Pendulum Illusions effect: If a Pendulum Monsters attacks, he can send a Spell or Trap card from his Hand to the Graveyard to halve the opponents ATK and DEF.
He sends the Action Card 'Damage Banish' from his Hand to activate its effect, halving Tetsudo'o's DEF (4800 → 2400). Due to Pendulum Illusions effect, Tetsudo'o isn't destroyed, but takes Piercing Damage instead. Due to Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's effect, any attack damage against a level 5 or higher monster is doubled, so Gong takes 200 damage (Gong: 1000 → 800). At the end of the Battle Phase, Pendulum Illusion's effect wears off and Tetsudo'o's DEF returns to normal (2400 → 4800).
Turn 11: Gong
Gong attacks Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with Tetsudo'o, but Yuya gets the Action Card 'Flame Guard' and sends it to his Graveyard to activate Pendulum Illusion's effect, halving Tetsudo'o's DEF (4800 → 2400) but it won't be destroyed by battle. The attack fails (Gong: 800 → 600).
Gong then activates Tetsudo'o's effect, sending 2 cards in his hand to the graveyard to destroy 1 monster. He sends the Action Card 'Tenacity' and Superheavy Samurai Big Wara-G to activate its effect. Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon is destroyed. Next, he Banishes 'Tenacity' from his Graveyard to inflict 200 damage to Yuya (Yuya: 700 → 500). At the end of the Battle Phase, Pendulum Illusion's effect wears off and Tetsudo'o's DEF returns to normal (2400 → 4800).
Turn 12: Yuya
Because of Pendulum Illusion's effect, Yuya isn't allowed to Draw. He then Pendulum Summons Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon from his Extra Deck in Attack Position again. Yuya attacks with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and both of them run towards an Action Card (Flame Chain). Yuya manages to grab it and sends it from his Hand to his Graveyard to activate Pendulum Illusion's Effect, halving Tetsuduo'o's DEF (4800 → 2400). Gong takes the piercing damage (Gong: 600 → 400). At the end of the Battle Phase, Pendulum Illusion's Effect wears off and Tetsudo'o's DEF returns to normal again (2400 → 4800).
Turn 13: Gong
Gong attacks Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with Tetsudo'o and both of them runs towards Action Cards. Yuya grabs an unknown one and sends it to his Graveyard to activate Pendulum Illusion's Effect, halving Tetsudo'o's DEF (4800 → 2400). The attack fails. (Gong: 400 → 200).
Gong sends the Action Card 'Flame Power' and Superheavy Samurai Soulbeads to the Graveyard to destroy Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. He then activates Tetsudo'o's Effect, Banishing Flame Power to deal 200 damage to Yuya (Yuya: 500 → 300). At the end of the Battle Phase, Tetsudo'o's DEF returns to normal (2400 → 4800).
Turn 14: Yuya
Because of Pendulum Illusion's Effect, Yuya isn't allowed to Draw. He then Pendulum Summons Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon from his Extra Deck in Attack Position. Both of them attempt to get an Action Card, but Yuya manages to get it (Flame Power). He then sends it to the Graveyard to activate Pendulum Illusion's Effect again, halving Tetsudo'o's DEF (4800 → 2400). He attacks Tetsudo'o and inflicts Piercing Damage (Gong: 200 → 0).
