Forum:Hilarious Moments in Duels?

Just out of curiosity, have any of you had lulworthy experiences when duelling? Not sure if you would think this is funny or not... but a friend decided he hated my burn deck. He modified a deck specifically to counter mine. He duelled me, and it took longer than usual. We didn't finish the duel because of... um... time constraints. --HybridDragoness (talkcontribs) 11:53, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, boy did I have one recently. Went up against a Blackwing Deck with my Chain Burn Deck. He had a Sirocco, a Bora, and a Gale. United the ATK onto Bora, and then proceeded to attack... into a Magic Cylinder. Blam. 5000 damage in his face at the second turn of the Duel! --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 11:58, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

In a similar vein, I was playing World Championship 2005 on my friend's GameBoy. It was turn 2, and Kaiba did a very bold move - he summoned Cyber Stein, and paid 5000 LP to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, without even bothering to equip Megamorph to build an OTK. He attacked with BEUD... into my set Magic Cylinder. Turn 2 victory! --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 10:13, August 1, 2010 (UTC)

Wow. That's pretty impressive. Now, if the opponent just had United We Stand... I once had Gravity Bind and Gale on the field. For many agonising turns, I halved, then quartered the atk of his high-levelled dragons. He wound up with dead draws for god-knows-how-many turns before killing Gale with a Twin-headed Behemoth. --HybridDragoness (talkcontribs) 12:03, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

I had my yusei deck up against another Yusei deck, starting hand had alot of spells and one monster. so for a couple of turns I was getting attacked constantly by my opponent's monsters, finally, he pulls out both Junk Destroyer and Junk Warrior to his field and makes a double direct attack. if I couldn't draw the right monster, I was done for. So I draw. It's debris Dragon! I summon it and revive Turbo Synchron, then I activate Give and Take, give the opponent rockstone Warrior. I then activate Synchro Boost to debris Dragon. I reduce it's level with the Level eater in my grave and summon it out. i tune it with my level 5 Turbo Synchron for Turb Warrior. I then attack his Destroyer and cut it's points in half with my warrior's effect. Then I use Synchro Blast Wave in MP2 in order to destroy Junk Warrior. The duel was history after that combo. one thing Judai said was right. It's never over till the last card is played, and that draw helped me win. Sort of felt like a lol and Yusei moment. Adamtheamazing64 (talkcontribs) 14:27, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know if this is funny to anyone else, but once I was in an intense duel. Our life points were within about 100-300 points and the lead kept changing back and forth. Then my opponent plays down some Spell card and ask me if I wanted a hand shake. Wow..I've never laughed harder during a duel then right that. It was just so random and weird...oh good times. Aznskills90214 (talkcontribs) 14:30, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps you speak of this card? Yeah, it's an unusual one. It'd be funny if we had gag cards that work similarly. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 14:52, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

OH another time, I don't know if it's funny or domination. But I wrecked my opponents deck with nothing but a pair of Quillbolt Hedgehogs and backing them up with traps. My opponent cleared out our field with Torrential and had nothing to protect him so I summoned Quillbolt and attacked directly, which then started the onslaught...lol Aznskills90214 (talkcontribs) 15:04, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Yep Yu-Jo Friendship that's the one. Funniest, most random card in the world. Aznskills90214 (talkcontribs) 15:04, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

My opponent wasn't paying attention so when I asked how many cards in hand he just red off the card's names. It was still a close game but Uruquizas got him game.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 15:26, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

once, had a set machina peacekeeper and a set torrential tribute, my opponent had 3 quillbolts in grave and a penguin soldier also, i didnt pay attention to his grave because there was alot of other cards in it, so 1st he heavy storm`d my torrential and proceeded to summon junk synchron and revive penguin soldier, he then special summoned the 3 quillbolts and activated united we stand, targeting quillbolt hedgehog, he then attacked with junk synchron and got game by the quillbolt, for the rest of the day we debated wether or not it was show-off.

@ Gadjiltron: Look up the Unhinged and Unglued sets of Magic: The Gathering, and you'll get your wish. As for my funny moments, attacking directly with an 8000 ATK point Slime Token from Jam Breeding Machine on the second turn. That has to be it.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 17:46, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

UUUGGGHHHH! PLEASE don't mention those... Bad ass, good ass, and fat ass will forever haunt me.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 04:23, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

I wasn't running an Infernity Deck but when my friend had Ominous Fortunetelling and I had no cards in my hand, I finished him off and said Handless Combo when he tried his trick again. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 18:41, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Three Solidarity on two 0-ATK tokens to win against GBs. I also controlled Royal Oppression. Suffice to say, that game was ####ing ridiculous. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 19:46, July 2, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

The only duel that I find ridiculous is the ones that last an hour and that it's boring. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 22:05, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed with Fallen Silence...Counter Fiary decks, although they are powerful..they are just boring. I mean BORING. Everytime I got up a counter fairy deck it just ends up being us drawing and waiting til I deck out...BORING Aznskills90214 (talkcontribs) 02:53, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

I dueled a drunk guy. Worst part is that he won with an frog otk.--Airbellum (talkcontribs) 03:17, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

My opponent had major stall set up and all I had was Vayu on the field and a bunch of BW I couldn't use in my hand. So? I draw Gale. Spc Summonit and Bora, Synchro for Black Rose Dragon, nuke the field, Summon Shura and two Boras, Dark Eruption to get Gale back, direct attacks. It was awesome. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 04:33, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

I was facing my cousin when he had a Morphtronic deck. He stalled through the WHOLE GAME. Then when he had 800 LPs, he finally decided to attack with a Morphtronic that was 1500 ATK points (Idk who) to my D-Hero Doom Lord. I activated two D-Chains for game. It was funny because when he declared the attack, I got the biggest grin ever.--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 05:07, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

It's funny because I had a counter because I used Winged Kuriboh to finish off this guy and he was like darn it! Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 06:15, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

LOL gotta love the wimpy monster kill. I used Dandylion to attack for game once. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 00:36, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

I was dueling a friends mill deck using a Heart of the Underdog exodia deck, I have 14 cards left in deck, 4 exodia in hand, 1 in deck. He plays heavy storm destroying Heart of the Underdogx2, then flips Needle Worm x2. So, tensely, we both watch as I mill 10, no exodia. I draw. Game. XD-82.11.158.0 (talk) 01:21, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

A couple of my funnier moments:

  • Once dueled someone with a burn/stall strategy built around Lava Golem. Guess which monster I finished him with.
  • Another time, won with a direct attack with Quillbolt Hedgehog.
  • But the funniest was one that didn't turn out so well for me. My opponent was trying for the Chimeratech OTK. 2 turns previous, he'd played Future Fusion. If he didn't draw Overload that turn, he was dead (no hand, nothing but Future and a face-down, no monsters in deck/grave) I had a full back row of traps that would stop him anyway. He draws Overload Fusion, brings out the Overdragon, all while I'm laughing maniacally on the inside. (I had Mirror Force, Dimensional Prison x2, Magic Cylinder, and Cyber Shadow Gardna). So there I am, thinking I'm about to own him royally... when he activates Trap Stun. Never saw it coming, first time I'd even heard of the card. You can guess how that ended. BlackLight (talkcontribs) 01:45, July 4, 2010 (UTC)
When I challenged "Wrath of Neos" duelist, I went first and summoned Videon in ATK and equip him with two Axe of Despairs, so I hope to stall him. But I was wrong, as he brained my Videon then summoned Prisma and used his effect to send Neos to Graveyard, which Special Summon by Oversoul effect. He finished me with them. --FredCat100 (talkcontribs) 02:12, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Well here's one. i used to run an old Last Warrior From Another Planet deck. i was facing a freind, I had out Warrior so obviously he couldn't summon anything I also had out Ligh of Intervention to prevent him from setting. It takes me three turns to kill him once I got out the Warrior. He keeps drawing cards each draw phase and his face just gets more and more depressed. His last turn before I kill him, he draws and shouts "What the ****!" And then ends. I finish him off and then ask him why he shouted. He shows me his hand and for and all three of his last turns he drew a Nimble Momonga. Hpboy111 (talkcontribs) 02:20, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Since you have "Last Warrior from Another Planet" and activate Light of Intervention in order to kept him from "set"? That sound like it's all Dark Simorgh x Anti-Spell Fragrance over again. --FredCat100 (talkcontribs) 02:25, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

I remember I was dueling a person with a Chimeratech Overdragon deck. I had a very odd burn/stall deck (I was young), filled with random burn cards. My opponent eventually managed to activate Overload Fusion, bringing out the Dragon. On my side of the field, I had at least 1 S/T Set (it was "Chthonian Blast") and controlled a face-up Defense Position "Fox Fire" and a Set "Spirit Reaper". He attempted to attack without clearing my field of Spells and Traps. When he attacked, I prayed to myself that he would attack my Fox Fire first. If he had attacked Spirit Reaper and then attacked Fox Fire, my Chthonian Blast would have destroyed Spirit Reaper. Guess which one he attacked first... And the crazy thing is, after I destroyed his Dragon with Chthonian Blast, it wiped both our Life Points to 0! That was the first time I had ever tied someone with a card effect! --UltimateKuriboh

It's funny. I have wins and loses but no ties ever in my whole entire life. That's pretty weird. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 06:18, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

If Chimeratech Overdragon was destroyed by Chthonian Blast, I believe the damage inflicted to both players would be zero, due to the fact that the Overdragon's ATK points while in the Graveyard are 0.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 02:54, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

It works similarly to Ring of Destruction. It inflicts damage that was calculated from the ATK while the monster was face-up on the field.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 05:30, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Well i had a few real hilarious game. The first was with my dragon deck. After quite some time, both me any opponent have lots of card in our graveyard and still left a couple of thousand lifepoints. Then after long planning, i finally got my Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon out in field, with an atk over 10k, and on his field, a monster with an atk of merely 2400. What is that compared to mine i thought and since its Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon we're talking about, so what is there to be afraid of so i launched my attack, straight into Magic Cylinder =.=!!. Magic Cylinder doesn't target my Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon so i can't negated the effect and rofl we went, both me and my opponent.. There is one other match that was real funny, my opponent manage to get his Stardust Dragon out in the second turn, and once it reached my turn, i removed it from play using D.D. Warrior..later on, when he had his Machina Fortress out, i sent it out with my another D.D. Warrior XD and he went cursing and swearing when i showed him my third copy of D.D. Warrior in my hand —— tommy666 0657hr, 4th July 2010(UTC)

Magic Cylinder does target. Chaosgodkarl (talkcontribs) 10:58, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

I was using my QuickdrawDandywarrior deck against my friend's random deck. I had 0 cards in my deck when I used Pot of Avarice and he Dark Bribed me for game. It was a pretty g@y moment. --Squidman 20 (talkcontribs) 14:29, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Wow that wasn't g@y, that was called pwned. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 14:56, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Dark Bribe cannot be activated if your opponent has no cards in his/her deck. --Hozu (talkcontribs) 15:01, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Oh yeah huh. Thank you costs! Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 09:06, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Both my friend and I were Duelin' with our own custom dragon decks, seeing which was stronger (We agreed on no REDMD). He tried copying Jack's style and overwhelm me with Synchros like Dragion and Catastor, but my own deck was too good >.< It ended with me winning, I had 100LP, and 1 card in my deck. YAY!!! Drew-Gi-Oh! (talkcontribs) 15:38, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Talk about Heart of the Cards. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 20:34, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

In WC:2010 Reverse of Arcadia, I faced Lava Golem (character). He summoned Lava Golem and played Owner's Seal. I had 1600 LP and he had 300 LP. He attacked me directly and chained to that Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai. I played my only set: Royal Decree. He ended up having to give up his own Golem. Next turn, I summoned Man-Eater Bug and won rofl XD

Wow the irony right there. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 21:15, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

I run DED in my decks so i always use Dogma and Plasma. Any ways there are times when using plasma is better then DED and rarely Dogma. My opponent attacked me with Dark ruler ha des i used magic cylinder. he had 25 life points left, just to be a dick i used scapegoat and tributed two of them with Dhero defender summoned dogma and cut his LP to 12.5. DestinyWarrior (talkcontribs) 02:20, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

A few weeks ago, i dueled a friend who uses Blackwing deck and i was using an ordinary synchro deck. My LP was around 1000+ whereas he still got around 4000-5000 LP. He summoned Stardust Dragon and attacked my Summoner Monk on field. I only have one face down trap card that i didn't activate for a while which made him thought that it is useless. At that time i have no hand cards either. However the trap card was Buster Mode. All i can hope that i draw either Marshmallon or Magic Cylinder to keep me alive. My friend was laughing at me, saying that it is over as i can never make a reversal against Stardust on field. Then comes the destiny draw, it was a Brain Control! At that time i was laughing in my heart but kept a straight face. I controlled his stardust and attacked for 2500, then he said, "what else can you do, you loser!" Then silently, i activated my buster mode and at that moment, i started to laugh and i can't stop because the sudden change on his face! At last i won and he never underestimated me ever again. Holydragoncrusher (talkcontribs) 02:50, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

Some time ago I was playing with my spirits deck, I was losing and badly, I had only 1000 lp, no cards on my hand or the field, and my opponenet controlled a couple of beatsticks a full hand and high lifepoints. Then I though "there's only one card on my deck that could help me now" then I drew and that's exactly the card I drew!! however in his next turn my opponenet summoned a 1400 atk monster and finished me. Hilarious. HouseholdCatDeity (talkcontribs) 03:22, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

I used a Yusei cosplay(I don't cosplay) deck against my friends zombie deck. I had only 100 LP and he was reciting some of Tetsu Ushio's lines from the anime(insulting Satellite etc.). I drew Junk Synchron brought back Tuningware and Tuned for Junk Warrior and drew Nitro Synchron. I used Double Summon and summoned the Nitro Synchron and tuned for Nitro Warrior. I drew Junk Barrage and equiped it to Nitro Warrior. Then I attacked his Defense Position Pyramid Turtle and destroyed it. I proceeded to do the same to his second Turtle(now in attack position) and dealt him 3000 damage, ending the game. Megadeth9887 (talkcontribs) 06:48, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

Too bad that combo wouldn't work. Drew-Gi-Oh! (talkcontribs) 16:32, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

Cue Yusei Battle track. Seriously, that would have been great to watch. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 11:46, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

I have had two hilarious moments. First one was when one of my opponent's played a burn deck, and I built my Quillbolt OTK Deck. I said I will out burn you in one turn. He didn't beleive me. So we dueled and he got soooo mad. Good Times. Second was when I was facing a Dragon Deck. He had Red Eyes Black Metal, Blue Eyes Ultimate, Red Eyes Darkness, Five God, and Blue Eyes out. Then he tried to Attack me directly, but Mirror Force!!!! Muhahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His best field ever, destroyed with one card.--BassNettoHikari2 (talkcontribs) 17:29, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

It was a morph vs morph deck...and we both had our fields swarm Heavy Storm + Cyber Dragon + Chimeratech Fortress Dragon = Figure out yourself

I spend loads of effort to get Machina Force on the field as a final desperate bid to save me.... it gets destroyed by Sakuretsu Armor :(

I was dueling in a little tournament and my opponent had 7200 lp but then he activated heavy storm so i had nothing on the field then my opponent used power bond and sent a lot of monsters to the graveyard and Chimeratech Overdragon had 6400 ATK and when he attacks me i summon Battle Fader and end his battle phase then he recieved 6400 of damage due to power bond then in my turn i summoned Snipe Hunter, rolled a dice and destroy his Chimeratech and attack him directly JAJA and he almost cried!

Power Bond would have only inflicted 3200 points of damage you know... the user takes damage of the ORIGINAL attack, not the boosted attack ;)

sorry my mistake chimeratech had 12800 due to power bond so he took 6400 of direct damage.192.100.188.198 (Omarkpaladin talk:192.100.188.198|talk]]) 14:47, August 1, 2010 (UTC)

I once had only 50 hp left, opponent had all 5000 and a 3400 strong wind dragon on the field. I had many fusion cards in hand but sadly no materials. Then I drew Elemental Hero Ocean and so could summon Terra Firma and Absolute Zero at once (Everyone knows that combo, do you?^^). Attack directly with 5k Terra for win. -dest- (talkcontribs) 10:02, August 1, 2010 (UTC)

Was running a Chain Burn Deck in Spirit Caller, dueling against Zane. He had his Chimeratech OTK Deck, and both our Life Points were running low. I had just pulled a Threatening Roar that turn. In a brilliant display of AI stupidity, Zane summoned Chimeratech Overdragon... with Power Bond. While he had 750 LP. While he couldn't attack for game. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 10:10, August 1, 2010 (UTC)

I also remember that qhen I started playing yugioh my friend and I had Fire decks then he had Ultimate Baseball Kid then i destroyed it and activated DNA Trasplant but since he had only fire monsters i declared WATER because thought that my UBK would increase even with Water monsters and everyone laughed! (Omarkpaladin talk:192.100.188.198|talk]]) 14:47, August 1, 2010 (UTC)

I dueled a dragon deck once, in which I was losing badly. His field was: REDMD, Blue-eyes, and Genesis Dragon. I had Stardust Dragon in my grave. Mark of the Rose, Mark of the Rose, Mark of the Rose, revive Stardust. Good game.76.250.226.248 (talk) 02:01, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

This was awesome. Against my mates synchro deck he had cannon soldier Junk Synchron and Imperial Iron Wall. I played Brain Control and Mind Control to steal both monsters. Brought back Quillbolt Hedgehog from my grave and hit the Quillbolt OTK! His face was a picture!--Melsarceus493 (talkcontribs) 08:55, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Wow not only did that sound awesome but it also sounds like irony, something that I haven't heard of in a long time. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 16:30, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

This guy pumped his Bora up to 7100 and attacked one of my Scapegoat things. I said "lolDimension Wall" and he took 7100 damage. Later, i finished him off with Flamvell Uruquizas. Skullvarnish (talkcontribs) 22:50, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

My opponent used Yu-Jo Friendship, but before he asked me for a handshake, he put his hand in his pants for a few minutes, than spit on it, didn't think it was very funny, but it was very interesting.--Berfomet (talkcontribs) 22:56, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Stupid Unity....--Drew-Gi-Oh! (talk) 23:09, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

At least Holding Hand Majin haven't been created yet. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 00:29, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Yikes, that'd be the worst over-kill damage I'd ever see in my frickin' life... Only thing I can imagine to kill it would be Majestic's or Fiendish Chain to stop Holding Hand's effect. Even then, someone who even had the card in their deck, assuming it's real, would just counterattack with something to stall for MORE time... Raining Stars (talkcontribs) 00:31, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Or better sense; I would Dark Core, Enemy Controller, Book'f Moon, Plasma, Area A and ever Final Attack Orders him to NOT be in Defense Position anymore. --FredCat100 (talkcontribs) 00:34, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Lightning Vortex would've made it fun to get rid of if there were a bunch of monsters on the opponent's side of the field with Majin though it's a good combo with Unity for defense power. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 01:26, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

My brother kept screwing me over, saying that all my starting hands were absolute rubbish. So in response, I predicted he'd draw three Grandmaster of the Six Samurai. So we shuffle and start. He draws his first five and I'm going first. So I make my turn, and he tells me that he has two Grandmasters in his hand. He draws. BAM. Grandmaster of the Six Samurai. Sooo Funny. IonCharge (talkcontribs) 21:23, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

I was playing wc:2009 over wifi against some person who used an action replay to give himself a no-ban list. He used a graceful charity and discarded Obelisk early on in the duel. On the turn i was just about to finish him off, i drew monster reborn. I brought back his Obelisk and finished him off with that :D Stormvale12 (talkcontribs) 00:12, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

just had a situation that was unstopable for my opponent. Turns:

  • 1) I begin, play hand destruction in draw phase, send Naturia Pineapple and Snyffus. SS pineapple in Standby phase, in main I summon Naturia Bamboo Shoot. I play another hand destruction and get 2 tokens from dandy. Set Solemn Warning, end. :)
  • 2) as expected (monarch user) he ssed a lot, summoned his monarch, warning negates it, end with no defense^^
  • 3) I play Pot of Duality, get Cactus Bouncer. So he couldn't ss anything, had nothing to defend with and I drew another solemn in my draw phase on top of that... thats what I call a perfect lockdown^^ -dest- (talkcontribs) 19:18, August 22, 2010 (UTC)

I was at my local tournament with a self-designed Venom deck, which had been doing poorly. Shortly into the duel, my opponent accidentally triggered Rise of the Snake Deity, with no way to counter it and several snakes already in my graveyard. Needless to say, he was quite discouraged. NOT FrogtheJam (talkcontribs) 17:38, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

During my first duel with my Batteryman deck, I dueled someone who, unknown to me, stacked. Within turns, he summoned Obelisk the Tormentor and Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu. I didn't even need Inferno Reckless summon to execute the Batteryman OTK. Thankfully, I recorded his reaction. 76.250.226.248 (talk) 00:44, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Any moment where cheating is defeated using only legitimate moves is an amazing moment. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 11:15, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

You said it Gadjitron. Cheaters make me pretty mad sometimes with their banned cards. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 00:58, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

Here's other one from me, this time with my Assault Mode Deck. I was dueling against my own "Nature Deck" (check out my Deck recipe, Real Life to see "Nature Hero" for details) and I was so awesome by nature's trick into make me think I would try to "Mind Control" it destined Synchro Summon (because it summoned Rose, Warrior of Revenge at firs turn) "Stardust Dragon" but it did not and beat the heck out of me before I got my chance to process the Synchro Summon myself. Second Duel told the story, only trickier. --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 01:01, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

Dueling with yourself? Ugh it's a pain plus if you win, you know that you lost too. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 01:08, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

What wrong with keep your skill sharp? I practiced to know each strength and weakness of many decks, therefore the reason why I have at least 35 exist theme decks under my wings. --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 01:20, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

Well there is nothing wrong with that if you want to do it. I'm just saying. And 35 decks? Dang dude I only keep to one deck. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 01:22, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

..............synchrons. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 00:18, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

So i'm playing my friend on YVD i have 1500 lp hes got 7600, ive been holding him of with Absolute Zeros. Well my future fusion finally activates i get a DED. So on my field i have a ZERO a DED and a prisma. I summon a Deep Sea Diva special summon another one from my deck then sync a diva with prisma for a Goyo, i remove from play a malicious so SP summon one then tune that with my second diva for Colossal fighter. then i play miracle fusion and put another zero on my field. so i attack with all of them and he slowly subtracts his lps away. when he learns he pretty much just got OTK i see in the chat box, he typed /sub my life DestinyWarrior (talkcontribs) 02:16, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

A couple of friends and I were playing a free-for-all. The two of them were trading blows with each other (since they perceived each other to be the greatest of threats) while I built up my resources, planning to finish off the remaining living player in one blow. Eventually, one of them began losing the struggle, and was all too happy to hurt himself if it meant giving the other friend a hard time against me. He was down to 300 LP, and since I was playing my Chain Strike Deck, we commented that if I so much as sneezed on him, he'd be dead. Cue the Secret Barrel that hit for 400 damage. Achoo! --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 07:27, August 31, 2010 (UTC)

Two funny things happened to me this month in duels. The first one was a Lightsworn mirror match, I had Lyla on my field, I ended and milled not 1, not 2, but 3 Lightsworn Wulfs! My opponent actually laughed and gave me a high five. The second was against some Blackwing n00b, I went to attack directly with Gladiator Beast Gyzarus, and he used Spelling Binding Circle! I couldn't stop laughing for like a whole minute. Seriously, who uses a SBC in a Blackwing deck? Hebi No David (talkcontribs) 23:02, August 31, 2010 (UTC)

I was recently dueling X sabers with my infernities and we side decked each other for total negation. He summoned Boggart knight and i activated solemn warning, he activated dark bribe, i activated solemn judge, he bribed that, i played seven tools, he solemn, I seven tooled. he says "alright, double summon." and summons another boggart, darksoul, faultroll... i stared at the field for about 2 mins. Another moment I was playing blackwings with oppression and the new vayu ruling. I activated oppression a few turns back and went to use vayu. my opponent said "negate" I said "alright 800, activate vayu" "negate" "activate the 'same' vayu" "wait a second!" last one, my friend was running lightsworn. he flipped ryko and sent 3 necro gardnas then said "Hold up! everyone in the shop say 'OOOOWWWWNNNNEEEDDD!!!!'" I looked over and said "what happened?" his opponent answered "only the greatest stacking in the history of yugioh..."

The funniest dues are the ones where Gravity Bind comes into play and prevents both players from doing anything. I swear my opponents and I would be laughing our heads off because we either couldnt get rid of it or we just couldnt do anything else. Once or twice we considered just getting rid of it for the sake of our sanity. rofl!!!!!!!

Dueling my friend once, he was running the train on me with Scrap Dragon AND Srap Twin Dragon. I had 100 LP left he had 7000. I had Stardust Xialong and Junk Synchron in my hand. I drew a Power Giant, special summoned him by tributing the Xialong and normal summoned the Junk Syncrhon, used his effect to bring back an Attack Gainer, Synchro'd a Stardust, brought Xialong back from the grave, synchro'd a Formula Synchron, and Shooting Star'd his ass. I drew 4 tuners that turn. The look on his face was priceless.

I once got someone down to 200LP. Their only option was Level Modulation, because I had Burning Land active. They forgot about my Skull Invitation though, and burned through their last few life points. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 01:39, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

Arguing for an hour over who's Starlight Road came first when we activated it at the same time.

One time, one duelist who bragged to be best duelist with "Final Destiny" included his Nohr Dragon Deck, I however only had Marik's Deck at that minute. We dueled with each other and I end up win. Why is that happening? I just lucky pull a Gravekeeper Theme at all the time while his hand was stuck with massive level 8 or high dragons. He still bragged afterward when I defeated him a full match. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 01:45, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

Watching someone labourously summon Amyrtyle the Chaos Phantom. I used a Magic Cylinder.

I'll be man enough to announce a mistake

I was pretty green and was playing around with LaDD. Well in one duel I was doinig really well, that was until I accidently summoned two LaDDs at the same time. Right after I did it I realized the mistake I made. Oppenent just simply played some random card to make the two LaDDs burn themselves till one couldn't negate anymore 71.238.110.57 (talk) 07:26, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hold it! LaDD can only activate once per Chain, as the rulings state. Otherwise, if anyone plays anything with one LaDD out, LaDD would trigger, and chain to itself to try and negate, and again, and again... So, in your situation, both LaDDs would have triggered once each, with the second negating the first, and the original card actually having its effect going through! --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 11:47, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
...Wait a minute. The rulings actually address what happens when more than one LaDD is present on the field. Both LaDDs will try to negate the effect, but only one is directly chained to this. As such, only one LaDD will successfully negate the effect and lose its ATK and DEF - the other will not do either. Since both LaDDs are yours, you can choose which one actually does the negation. None of the LaDDs would try to negate the other's effect. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 11:53, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
today i'am dueling my friend , he use synchro deck , and i use my elemental hero deck , i have 3 reverse card on the field, Mirror Force , Call of the Haunted (stand meaninglessly , because i SS Honest and get it back to hand), and Hero Signal,i have 2 monster on the field , Face-down Penguin Soldier ,and Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack position, my LP is 700 , and he 1000, he has 1 monster on the field . and one card on his hand , then he flipped face up his monster , and that was Synchron Explorer , then he summon Junk Synchron from his hand , SS Worm Apocalypse with its effect , and SS Quillbolt Hedgehog from his grave . then he synchro for 8 level synchro monster . he SS Junk Destroyer , i don't know but every time he take out his Junk Destroyer he always aware with my Face-down card , maybe because i run 3 Penguin Soldier , when he choose i said "why don't you destroy my CotH" , he laugh and refuse , he choose all my face-down card , when he notice that he destroy my mirror force , he really glad and i don't know what he think , i think i remind him about what i do with my CotH . with his really Big Face Smile he attack my sparkman . and i throw honest to the graveyard . his face really change ,and i can't stop laughing Nagareboshi-kun (talkcontribs) 12:14, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

So I'm at regionals, and this guy using an X-Saber deck summons a Fulhelmknight and attacks with it. The funny part is, it's the first turn of the duel. ShortCircuitFTW (talkcontribs) 20:07, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

Mine was probably when I was using my Time Wizard deck. He's got one face-down, 8000 LP, and Stardust Dragon and Colossal Fighter on the field, I have a Magical Exemplar with no counters, and a face-down Apprentice Magician and face-down Shining Angel. First off, Dark Hole. He uses Stardust's effect, and he's like "Did you forget?" and I'm like "lol no I really didn't." Then I tributed both face-downs for Dark Magician, and activated Second Coin Toss to give Exemplar two counters. Then I used her effect to SS Time Wizard from the hand, and used his effect. First toss I called wrong, Second Coin Toss gives me another and I called it right. Colossal Fighter is destroyed, and I can tribute Dark Magician for Dark Sage, and search out a spell through his effect. Then I use Polymerization using my Time Wizard and the Baby Dragon in my hand to summon Thousand Dragon. Then I activated the Dragon's Mirror I searched for to summon a second Thousand Dragon. They all attack for 9300. GG. SuperKirbyFan (talkcontribs) 21:03, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

Went up against a Zombie player, and he did a lot of Synchro shenanigans with Il Blud and Zombie Master, ending with Black Brutdrago and Brionac on the field. My next plays: Lightning Vortex to clean his field (bringing back Il Blud in the process), and Monster Reborn on Zombie Master. Then I used Zombie Master to revive his Plaguespreader, Synchroing for Goyou Guardian which promptly stole Il Blud. Il Blud was then Gemini'd, fetching the Plaguespreader again for a Synchro Summon of Stardust. All this using the opponent's resources. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 11:26, December 15, 2010 (UTC)
