Quarter Century Secret Rare |
A Quarter Century Secret Rare (also called 25th Secret Rare) card is a special variety of Secret Rare cards that is identified by having a speckled holographic champagne-gold card name, a watermark of the "Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game 25th Quarter Century" logo in the middle of the card text box, and a Secret Rare foil treatment over the entire card surface. Aside from the different watermark and the different color foil for the card names, this rarity is nearly identical to the OCG's 20th Secret Rare rarity.
In the Japanese OCG and Korean OCG, they were introduced in the Rarity Collection Quarter Century Edition in February 2023 and March 2023 respectively to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game and officially replaced the Prismatic Secret Rare rarity as of the Japanese OCG release of Duelist Nexus in April 2023 and the Korean release date of Duelist Nexus in June 2023. In the TCG, they were introduced in the Legendary Collection: 25th Anniversary Edition in April 2023. For China, they were introduced in Duelist Nexus in August 2023 while for Asian countries outside of Japan, Korea, and China, they were introduced in Creation Pack 01 in November 2023.
