Summary[edit]
Taiyo wonders if anybody knows him after his constant appearances in Taikai's broadcasts.
Featured Duel: Taiyo Asobe vs Wataru Himukai[edit]
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Wataru
Wataru Normal Summons "Crafter Drone" (1000/0). Wataru activates the effect of "Crafter Drone", sending a Machine Type monster from his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. Wataru sends an unknown monster from his hand to the Graveyard and draws "Ground Cerberus". Wataru Normal Summons "Giga-Tech Wolf" (1200/1400) and "Cliptera" (1300/1000). Wataru Tributes "Giga-Tech Wolf" and "Cliptera" to Tribute Summon "Ground Cerberus" (2400/2000). Wataru Normal Summons "Jointech Ace" (1500/0). Wataru activates the effect of "Ground Cerberus" to inflict damage to Taiyo equal to the number of face-up EARTH Attribute Machine Type monsters on Wataru's field x 300 (Taiyo: 8000 → 7100 LP).
Turn 2: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Transamu Rainac" (1600/0) and "Transamu Ephyrai" (1200/500). As Wataru has a monster on his field, Taiyo activates the effect of "Ephyrai", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of a face-up "Rainac" on his field by 1000 until the end of this turn. Taiyo sends an unknown monster from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Rainac" ("Rainac": 1600/0 → 2600/0). Taiyo Tributes "Ephyrai" to Tribute Summon "Direct Dive Dragon" (1700/0). Taiyo activates the effect of "Direct Dive Dragon", placing a Normal Monster from his Graveyard on the bottom of his Deck to decrease its ATK by 500 until the end of this turn, and it can attack directly this turn. Taiyo places an unknown monster from his Graveyard on the bottom of his Deck ("Direct Dive Dragon": 1700/0 → 1200/0). Taiyo Sets two cards in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Rainac" attacks and destroys "Ground Cerberus" (Wataru: 8000 → 7800 LP). "Direct Dive Dragon" attacks Wataru directly (Wataru: 7800 → 6600 LP). As Taiyo ends his turn, the ATK of "Rainac" and "Direct Dive Dragon" returns to normal ("Rainac": 2600/0 → 1600/0; "Direct Dive Dragon": 1200/0 → 1700/0).
Turn 3: Wataru
Wataru Tributes "Crafter Drone" and "Ace" to Tribute Summon "Barrel Dragon" (2600/2200). Wataru activates the effect of "Barrel Dragon" to choose a monster on Taiyo's field and toss a coin three times, and Wataru destroys it if at least two of the results are heads. Wataru chooses "Direct Dive Dragon", the results are heads, tails and heads, and he destroys it. Wataru Normal Summons "Cyber Soldier of Darkworld" (1400/1200) and "Bull Breaker" (1200/800). Wataru Tributes "Cyber Soldier of Darkworld" and "Bull Breaker" to Tribute Summon "Jointech Rex" (2500/1500). As "Rex" was Normal Summoned this turn, Wataru activates its effect, shuffling three monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to destroy a card in Taiyo's Spell & Trap Zone. Wataru shuffles "Ground Cerberus", "Ace" and "Crafter Drone" from his Graveyard into the Deck and destroys one of Taiyo's face-down cards. "Barrel Dragon" attacks and destroys "Rainac" (Taiyo: 7100 → 6100 LP). "Rex" attacks Taiyo directly (Taiyo: 6100 → 3600 LP).
