Summary[edit]
To commemorate their first 100000 suscribers, Taikai is going to Duel a challenger, who is no other than Taiyo.
Featured Duel: Taiyo Asobe vs Taikai Asobe[edit]
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Orbit Skater" (800/1400), "Interstellime" (1000/0) and "Bright Sentinel" (1500/100). Taiyo Sets a card in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 2: Taikai
Taikai Normal Summons "Voidvelgr Peltast" (0/1500) and "Dimension Others" (1500/0). Taikai Tributes "Peltast" and "Dimension Others" to Tribute Summon "Voidvelgr Requiem" (2500/2000). As Taikai Normal or Special Summoned a monster, Taiyo activates his face-down Trap Card "Galactica Lattice" to change up to three Attack Position Galaxy Type Normal Monsters on his field to face-up Defense Position, then he increases the DEF of all face-up monsters on his field by the number of face-up Galaxy Type monsters on his field x 500 until the end of this turn. Taiyo changes "Orbit Skater", "Interstellime" and "Bright Sentinel" to Defense Position ("Orbit Skater": 800/1400 → 800/2900; "Interstellime": 1000/0 → 1000/1500; "Bright Sentinel": 1500/100 → 1500/1600). Taikai Normal Summons "Voidvelgr Pale Rider" (1600/0). Taikai activates the effect of "Requiem", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the number of face-up DARK Attribute monsters on his field x 300 until the end of this turn, then it gains additional 600 ATK until the end of this turn if Taiyo has a face-up LIGHT Attribute monster on his field. Taikai sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Requiem": 2500/2000 → 3100/2000 → 3700/2000). "Requiem" attacks and destroys "Bright Sentinel". "Pale Rider" attacks and destroys "Interstellime". As Taikai ends his turn, the ATK of "Requiem" and the DEF of "Orbit Skater" return to normal ("Requiem": 3700/2000 → 2500/2000; "Orbit Skater": 800/2900 → 800/1400).
Turn 3: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Strange Traveler" (1100/200). As Taiyo has a face-up Galaxy Type Normal Monster on his field, he activates the effect of "Strange Traveler", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to decrease the ATK of a face-up monster on Taikai's field by 500 until the end of this turn. Taiyo sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Requiem" ("Requiem": 2500/2000 → 2000/2000). Taiyo Tributes "Strange Traveler" and "Orbit Skater" to Tribute Summon "Vanishing Heliacal Riser" (2400/1500). Taiyo Normal Summons "Transamu Rainac" (1600/0) and "Transamu Jerai" (1000/500). As Taiyo has two cards or less in his hand, he activates the effect of "Heliacal Riser", shuffling a monster from his Graveyard into the Deck to increase its ATK by 200 until the end of this turn, then if a face-up Spell Card is on the field, he can draw a card. Taiyo activates the Spell Card "Galactica Force", shuffling three Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to increase the ATK of all face-up Galaxy Type Normal Monsters on his field by the number of face-up Normal Monsters on the field x 300 until the end of this turn. Taiyo shuffles three unknown monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck ("Rainac": 1600/0 → 2200/0). "Rainac" attacks and destroys "Requiem" and "Pale Rider" (Taikai: 8000 → 7800 → 7200 LP). "Heliacal Riser" and "Jerai" attack Taikai directly (Taikai: 7200 → 4600 → 3600 LP). As Taiyo ends his turn, the ATK of "Rainac" and "Heliacal Riser" returns to normal ("Rainac": 2200/0 → 1600/0; "Heliacal Riser": 2600/1500 → 2400/1500).
Turn 4: Taikai
Taikai Normal Summons "Voidvelgr Globule" (0/1300). Taikai activates the effect of "Globule", shuffling three DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to this turn treat it as two Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster in Attack Position. Taikai shuffles three unknown monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck. Taikai Tributes "Globule" to Tribute Summon "Voidvelgr Elysium" (2500/2000). Taikai Normal Summons "Voidvelgr Meteon" (500/900). As Taikai has a face-up Level 7 or higher Galaxy Type monster on his field, he activates the effect of "Meteon", sending it from his field to the Graveyard to destroy a face-up Level 6 or lower LIGHT Attribute monster on Taiyo's field, then Taikai inflicts 300 damage to him. Taikai sends "Meteon" from his field to the Graveyard and destroys "Rainac" (Taiyo: 8000 → 7700 LP). Taikai Normal Summons "Pale Rider" (1600/0). Taikai Sets a card in his Spell & Trap Zone. "Elysium" attacks and destroys "Heliacal Riser" (Taiyo: 7700 → 7600 LP). "Pale Rider" attacks and destroys "Jerai" (Taiyo: 7600 → 7000 LP).
Turn 5: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Star Tri-Leo" (300/1300). As Taiyo has no other monsters on his field and he Normal Summoned "Star Tri-Leo" this turn, he activates its effect to excavate the top three cards of his Deck, send all excavated Galaxy Type monsters to the Graveyard and place the remaining cards on the bottom of his Deck in any order. Taiyo excavates "Shadow Sentinel", "Greystorm Reverie" and "Spiral Geyser" from the top of his Deck, sends "Shadow Sentinel" and "Greystorm Reverie" to the Graveyard and places "Spiral Geyser" on the bottom of his Deck. Taiyo Normal Summons "Parashroom Colony" (1000/1000). Taiyo Tributes "Star Tri-Leo" and "Parashroom Colony" to Tribute Summon "Galactica Oblivion" (2500/2500). Taiyo Sets a card in his Spell & Trap Zone. "Oblivion" attacks "Pale Rider". As Taiyo's monster declared an attack, Taikai activates his face-down Trap Card "Mirror Force" to destroy all Attack Position monsters on Taiyo's field. Taikai destroys "Oblivion".
Turn 6: Taikai
Taikai Tributes "Pale Rider" to Tribute Summon "Star Trancer" (1700/1200). Taikai activates the effect of "Star Trancer", sending it from his field to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Galaxy Type monster from his hand face-up to his field, and if he Special Summoned a Level 8 monster this way, this turn it gains 400 ATK and inflicts piercing battle damage. Taikai sends "Star Trancer" from his field to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Voidvelgr Hecatoncheir" (2000/2600) from his hand in Attack Position. As Taikai Special Summoned a monster, Taiyo activates his face-down Trap Card "Nova Spark" to Special Summon up to three Galaxy Type Normal Monsters from his hand face-up to his field. Taiyo Special Summons "Milky Wave Neo" (2500/1000) from his hand in Attack Position. Taikai activates the effect of "Elysium", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to change a face-up monster on Taiyo's field to face-down Defense Position, and Taikai increases its ATK by 500 until the end of this turn, then if he sent a monster to the Graveyard this way, it cannot be destroyed by Taiyo's Trap Card effects this turn. Taikai sends an unknown card from his hand to the Graveyard and changes "Milky Wave Neo" to face-down Defense Position ("Elysium": 2500/2000 → 3000/2000). Taikai activates the effect of "Hecatoncheir", changing it from Attack Position to face-up Defense Position to inflict 500 damage to Taiyo, then if Taikai has a face-up Level 8 monster on his field, he can change the battle position of a face-up Galaxy Type monster on his field. Taikai changes "Hecatoncheir" to Defense Position (Taiyo: 7000 → 6500 LP), then changes "Hecatoncheir" to Attack Position. Taikai activates the Equip Spell Card "Voidvelgr Tyrfing", equipping it to a face-up DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster on his field to increase its ATK by 400 and allow it to inflict piercing battle damage. Taikai equips "Voidvelgr Tyrfing" to "Elysium" ("Elysium": 3000/2000 → 3400/2000). "Elysium" attacks and destroys Taiyo's face-down "Milky Wave Neo" (2500/1000) (Taiyo: 6500 → 4100 LP). "Hecatoncheir" attacks Taiyo directly (Taiyo: 4100 → 2100 LP). As Taikai ends his turn, the ATK of "Elysium" returns to normal ("Elysium": 3400/2000 → 2900/2000).
Turn 7: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Cosmo Predictor" (600/0). As Taiyo has no other monsters on his field and he Normal Summoned "Cosmo Predictor" this turn, he activates its effect to add a Level 8 Galaxy Type monster from his Graveyard to his hand, and this turn he can treat it as two Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a "Greystorm Reverie" in Attack Position. Taiyo adds "Greystorm Reverie" from his Graveyard to his hand. Taiyo Tributes "Cosmo Predictor" to Tribute Summon "Greystorm Reverie" (2500/2000). Taiyo Normal Summons "Bright Sentinel" (1500/100). As Taiyo has a face-up Galaxy Type monster on his field, he activates the Spell Card "Universtorm" to destroy a Spell/Trap Card on Taikai's field. Taiyo destroys "Voidvelgr Tyrfing" ("Elysium": 2900/2000 → 2500/2000). Taiyo Sets a card in his Spell & Trap Zone. Taiyo activates the effect of "Greystorm Reverie", sending another card from his field to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 500 until the end of this turn, then if no Spell/Trap Cards are on the field, it can make up to two attacks on monsters during this turn. Taiyo sends his face-down card from his field to the Graveyard ("Greystorm Reverie": 2500/2000 → 3000/2000). As Taikai has a face-up Level 7 or 8 monster on his field, Taiyo activates the Equip Spell Card "Galactica Xiphos", equipping it to a face-up Galaxy Type monster on his field to increase its ATK by the number of face-up Normal Monsters on his field x 300, then if it is "Oblivion", it gains additional 1000 ATK. Taiyo equips "Galactica Xiphos" to "Greystorm Reverie" ("Greystorm Reverie": 3000/2000 → 3300/2000). "Greystorm Reverie" attacks and destroys "Elysium" and "Hecatoncheir" (Taikai: 3600 → 2800 → 1500 LP). "Bright Sentinel" attacks Taikai directly (Taikai: 1500 → 0 LP).
