"Same-Deck Showdown!" (どうデッキたいけつDō Dekki Taiketsu!) is the ninth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel LP manga. It was first published April 4, 2022, in the Saikyō Jump magazine.

Summary[edit]

To commemorate their first 10000 suscribers, Taikai's newest project has Taiyo and Dramaru Rush Duel each other using the exact same Deck.

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Dramaru
Dramaru Normal Summons "Giga-Tech Wolf" (1200/1400) and "Hitotsu-Me Giant" (1200/1000). Dramaru Tributes "Giga-Tech Wolf" and "Hitotsu-Me Giant" to Tribute Summon "Max Raider" (2400/1400). Dramaru Sets two cards in his Spell & Trap Zones.

Turn 2: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Kuribot" (300/200) and "Aromagmabear" (600/1200). Taiyo Tributes "Kuribot" and "Aromagmabear" to Tribute Summon "Savage Claw Tiger" (2300/400). Taiyo activates the effect of "Savage Claw Tiger", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the number of face-up Level 7 or higher monsters on his field x 400 until the end of this turn. Taiyo sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Savage Claw Tiger": 2300/400 → 2700/400). Taiyo Normal Summons "Uraby" (1500/800) and "Flying Kamakiri #2" (1500/800). "Savage Claw Tiger" attacks and destroys "Max Raider" (Dramaru: 8000 → 7700 LP). "Uraby" and "Flying Kamakiri #2" attack Dramaru directly (Dramaru: 7700 → 6200 → 4700 LP). As Taiyo ends his turn, the ATK of "Savage Claw Tiger" returns to normal ("Savage Claw Tiger": 2700/400 → 2300/400).

Turn 3: Dramaru
Dramaru Normal Summons "Cycliptron" (100/1500) and "Skull Servant" (300/200). Dramaru activates his face-down Spell Card "Blades of Divine Wind" to destroy two face-up Normal Monsters on his field and a face-up Level 8 or lower monster on Taiyo's field. Dramaru destroys "Skull Servant", "Cycliptron" and "Savage Claw Tiger". Dramaru Normal Summons "Kuribot" (300/200) and "Aromagmabear" (600/1200). Dramaru Tributes "Kuribot" and "Aromagmabear" to Tribute Summon "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" (2500/1500). Dramaru activates the effect of "Dragias", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to this turn allow it to make a second attack during the Battle Phase it destroyed a monster by battle. Dramaru sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Dramaru activates his face-down Spell Card "The Power Up", shuffling three monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to increase the ATK and DEF of a face-up monster on his field by 500 until the end of this turn. Dramaru shuffles "Giga-Tech Wolf", "Max Raider" and "Cycliptron" from his Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Dragias" ("Dragias": 2500/1500 → 3000/2000). "Dragias" attacks and destroys "Flying Kamakiri #2" and "Uraby" (Taiyo: 8000 → 6500 → 5000 LP). As Dramaru ends his turn, the ATK and DEF of "Dragias" return to normal ("Dragias": 3000/2000 → 2500/1500).

Turn 4: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Hitotsu-Me Giant" (1200/1000) and "Dosodon" (1100/0). Taiyo Tributes "Hitotsu-Me Giant" and "Dosodon" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500). Taiyo activates the effect of "Magician", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the number of different Attributes in his Graveyard x 300 until the end of this turn. Taiyo sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Magician": 2100/1500 → 3600/1500). Taiyo Normal Summons "Silent Assailant" (1500/0). Taiyo Sets a card in his Spell & Trap Zone. "Magician" attacks and destroys "Dragias" (Dramaru: 4700 → 3600 LP). "Silent Assailant" attacks Dramaru directly (Dramaru: 3600 → 2100 LP). As Taiyo ends his turn, the ATK of "Magician" returns to normal ("Magician": 3600/1500 → 2100/1500).

Turn 5: Dramaru
Dramaru activates the Spell Card "Monster Reincarnation", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to add a monster from his Graveyard to his hand. Dramaru sends an unknown card from his hand to the Graveyard and adds "Dragias" from his Graveyard to his hand. Dramaru Normal Summons "The All-Seeing White Tiger" (1300/500) and "Whispering Fairy" (800/1200). Dramaru Tributes "The All-Seeing White Tiger" and "Whispering Fairy" to Tribute Summon "Dragias" (2500/1500). Dramaru activates the effect of "Dragias". Dramaru sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Dramaru Normal Summons "Flying Kamakiri #2" (1500/800). "Dragias" attacks and destroys "Silent Assailant" (Taiyo: 5000 → 4000 LP), then attacks "Magician". As Dramaru's monster declared an attack, Taiyo activates his face-down Trap Card "The Barrier", shuffling a monster from his Graveyard into the Deck to decrease the ATK of the attacking monster by 400 until the end of this turn. Taiyo shuffles an unknown monster from his Graveyard into the Deck ("Dragias": 2500/1500 → 2100/1500). The attack continues and both monsters are destroyed. "Flying Kamakiri #2" attacks Taiyo directly (Taiyo: 4000 → 2500 LP).

Turn 6: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Constructor Warrior Shovelon" (1500/0) and "Transamu Rainac" (1600/0). Taiyo activates "The Power Up". Taiyo shuffles "Magician", "Silent Assailant" and "Uraby" from his Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Rainac" ("Rainac": 1600/0 → 2100/500). "Rainac" attacks and destroys "Flying Kamakiri #2" (Dramaru: 2100 → 1500 LP). "Shovelon" attacks Dramaru directly (Dramaru: 1500 → 0 LP).
