Latest revision as of 17:32, 15 June 2024

I am currently no longer as active here as I used to be, because of Duel Links, but I am still very much collecting info for the wiki (sometimes providing info on Discord for others to publish here).

If you want to reach me quickly, this wiki's Discord is your best bet, as opposed to my Talk Page.

I have made 65,331 edits since March 17, 2008. Today's date is: Thursday, 27 June 2024

  • I Dueled my best DN friend via the "Golden Castle" scenario, telling him to use his best Deck. He managed to penetrate its weakness on his 1st turn (even with my extra conditions). Needless to say, I was astounded. Let the name "Scooter52293" ring true in your hearts, ye who read this!
  • Viz Media copying past versions of card pages (current at the time, and FROM this wikia) for their translations of cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! R =P. Examples (see history of pages): "Spirit Slayer", "Mirror Barrier", and "Armament Reincarnation"

  • "Special:ListUsers" - this allows you to see when a user last logged into a Wikia (not necessarily this Wikia, just a Wikia) and when they made their most recent edit. You can check the little boxes to narrow your search parameters.
  • To add Set ID numbers to a Set Card list[[{{ subst:#show: SET-LN### |?Card Number }}]] should work in 99% cases. Just replace SET-LN### with the set number.
  • "Special:PrefixIndex" - Type in the beginning of an image name, and all images with that as the first part of their name will appear in your search results.
  • To add an "archived" header to a forum page, just copy/paste: |last edit="insert date of last edit here". Example:
{{Forum/header|General Yu-Gi-Oh! Discussion}}
changes to
{{Forum/header|General Yu-Gi-Oh! Discussion|last edit=06:54, February 5, 2012}}
  • This link will help you GREATLY with understanding "missing the timing". (You may have to wait a couple of seconds for the screen to automatically scroll down to the post by Kevin Tewart. Don't understand the significance of it at first? Read the couple few posts that come after his post.)
  • Statistics of monster Types/Attributes and Type/Attribute support (due credit goes to User:Golden Key for providing it)
  • For finding out the range of IP addresses of vandalizing anons, see here.
  • Commonly asked rulings: User:Falzar FZ/Misc
  • Confirming cards in archetype:
    "Japanese archetype name here" site:yugioh.wikia.com "other card information" -"card game counterpart" -"redirected from" -intitle:user
    Just copy and paste that into Google, with the Japanese katakana/kanji in quotes. All members that qualify as a member of the archetype should show up. For more info on this process works, see User:Dinoguy1000#Archetype searches.
    • OR, go to Special:Ask and type in [[Japanese kana name::~*XXX*]] in the Query box, where XXX is the Japanese name. In the "Additional data" box, type in "?Japanese name" and "?Japanese kana name".
  • Template:
 {{OCG-TCG card image
| name = Genex Ally Remote
| set     = DTC3
| region  = JP
| rarity  = DRPR
| edition = DT
}}

  • "Golden Castle of Stromberg" - just... So Awesome! Especially when it was hacked with that extra text... =3
  • "Relay Soul" -
  • "Raging Flame Sprite" - I consider it my Duel Spirit familiar.
  • "House of Sand" - a simple card that has a unique effect. Plus, it was never used in a Duel (it was only used for the location of the Duel in episodes 128, 29, and 130).
  • "Take a Chance" - another unique card that increases Life Points *substantially* (up to 100000 at one point).
  • "Fabled Gallabas" - though I don't use this card at all, it seems like a sleeper card that could have use as a future Side Deck card...

  • As of February 25, 2012: I recently joined duelingnetwork.com (which is a GREAT website btw; I wish I had found it earlier). If anyone wishes to duel me there, my username is the same as my wikia username.
  • (Different Post): A couple of days ago (June 16th or 17th), I came up with the brilliant idea of using anime Field Spells in Duels. This was inspired by the Duel Coaster and its Duel Fields, right after I watched the 59th episode of Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal with Yuma and Gauche. Anyway, whenever I engage in one of these duels, I use similar looking Field Spell Cards as proxies for them, and activate 1 at random at the start of the Duel. The process is described on my DN profile right now (though it may change in the future). I only post this to serve as proof that I came up with this idea first! --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:50, June 19, 2012 (UTC)
  • In my first venture into a DN team (May or June of 2012?), I joined a team with the neat concept of different fun Decks for each team member. It's a shame it fell apart though... The leader made me a profile website, which can be seen here. The original team website can be found here. There was a little tip center too, which can be found as "comments" on the first blog post there. (These websites may or may not be available, depending on if they were ever taken down in the future after I post this, for inactivity or something.) --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:16, January 16, 2013 (UTC)

Interesting Dueling Network Moments

  • Link is here (will be updated periodically when I come across one of these moments).

Hello, this is me, a new user, Ultimate Kuriboh! I just started Monday, March 17, 2008. I love to edit articles on yugioh.wikia and I guess this will be my main job! I also like Runescape. If anyone would like to contact me there, my user name will be: Blue76543210. (NOTE: As of 2011 and onwards, it is now RecklessHero.) If you would like to go the website right now, click here Note: I have quit after Jagex implemented the EOC (Evolution of Combat) update in Novemeber of 2012... It no longer has the same retro feel... I will return to edit this sandbox in the future, so cya! Thank you fox for helping me with my sig. UltimateKuriboh 00:24, 18 March 2008 (UTC).

Notes[edit]

  • In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Arena, you can change the urls of the partner images to obtain different images. Example.
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_f/" yields the biggest possible image, with background.
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_v/" yields a smaller image of the character, but without its background.
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_w/" is the same as /ptn_v/, but slightly smaller.
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_h/" is the same as /ptn_w/, but smaller.
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_l/" is a medium image, with background
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_m/" is a small image, with background
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_q/" is the penultimate smallest image, with background
    • "/en/st0/img/partner_img/j/ptn_s/" is the smallest image, with background
