(there are multiple methods of Synchro Summoning a Level 5 monster by using only 1 card from the hand, but I think it'd be better if there was some template that could automatically generate these methods. Riser Dragon is different though.) |

- The following Level 5 monsters are ones that can easily Special Summon themselves from the hand: "Amazoness War Chief", "Ascator, Dawnwalker", "Chronomaly Tula Guardian", "Doodle Beast - Stego", "Dream Shark", "Galaxy Soldier", "Garbage Lord", "Gizmek Yata, the Gleaming Vanguard", "Joker's Knight", "Kaiser Vorse Raider", "Linkslayer", "Mekk-Knight Blue Sky", "Mother Spider Splitter", "Primitive Butterfly", "Quickdraw Synchron", "Red Hared Hasty Horse", "Solar Wind Jammer", "Supay, Duskwalker", "Super Quantum Red Layer", "The Tricky", and "Trickstar Corobane".
- "Dark Summoning Beast" is a Level 5 monster that can easily be added from the Deck to the hand via the effect of "Dark Beckoning Beast" or "Opening of the Spirit Gates" (with either of these cards capable of searching the other), with the other effect of "Dark Beckoning Beast" enabling an extra Normal Summon.

As a result, not only is "Raviel" Summoned, but "Shimmering Scraper" is also in the hand.

- "Fusion Deployment" is capable of Special Summoning the following Level 5 monsters from the Deck, but with the restriction of being unable to Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck that same turn other than Fusion Monsters: "Berfomet", "Big Piece Golem", "Bottom Dweller", "Curse of Dragon", "Cyber Dragon", "Cyber Ogre", "Darklord Marie", "Des Frog", "Elemental HERO Necroshade", "Hercules Beetle", "Jack's Knight", "Lesser Fiend", "Ocubeam", "Steel Ogre Grotto #1", and "Thunder Dragon".
- "U.A. Signing Deal" can be used to Special Summon the Level 5 "U.A. Mighty Slugger" or "U.A. Perfect Ace" from the Deck, albeit at the cost of 1500 LP.
- Any "Runick" Quick-Play Spell can Special Summon the Level 5 "Freki the Runick Fangs" from the Extra Deck, but at the cost of skipping one's next Battle Phase.
- "Shooting Riser Dragon" is a Level 7 Synchro Monster that can send a Level 2 monster from the Deck to the Graveyard by its effect to make itself Level 5, and can easily be Synchro Summoned by the following method:
- "Deep Sea Diva" is Normal Summoned, and Special Summons "Guitar Gurnards Duonigis" from the Deck by its effect, with that monster's effect making "Diva" become Level 4. Upon its Synchro Summon, "Shooting Riser Dragon" can reduce its Level by dumping another copy of the Level 2 "Deep Sea Diva" from the Deck.
- "Dark Summoning Beast" is a Level 5 monster that can easily be added from the Deck to the hand via the effect of "Dark Beckoning Beast" or "Opening of the Spirit Gates" (with either of these cards capable of searching the other), with the other effect of "Dark Beckoning Beast" enabling an extra Normal Summon.
- The effect of "Debris Dragon" can be used to Special Summon a Level 1 "Kuriboh" monster from the Graveyard, enabling the Synchro Summon of a Level 5 Dragon Synchro Monster, such as "Samsara, Dragon of Rebirth", which can then be Tributed for this card's activation.
- Although this card's effect prevents the Special Summoned monsters from being Tributed for a Tribute Summon, the effect of "Kuribah" can be used to Special Summon "Kuribabylon", and then the effect of "Kuribabylon" can Special Summon those monsters back to the field without the Tribute Summon restriction.
- By producing 5 Level 1 Fiend-Type monsters with different names, this card is very helpful for meeting the Summoning requirement of monsters such as "Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler" and "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", but especially "Dystopia the Despondent" and "Tierra, Source of Destruction".
- Additionally, it can be useful for Link Summoning Link Monsters with high Link Ratings, such as "Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess" and "Underworld Goddess of the Closed World".
- "Cursed Armaments" can benefit from this card, since the 5 monsters this card produces would result in a 3000 ATK-loss. Since each "Kuriboh" monster would be able to attack once, this could very potentially clear an opponent's field of monsters in 1 Battle Phase (as a result of the Equip Spell Card continually re-equipping to a new monster).
