* This card was used recurringly by Joey Wheeler.

* Joey first used this card in his Duel against Espa Roba, who was cheating in the duel. (Espa's brothers were on top of a nearby building peeking at Joey's cards and reporting them by radio. They mistook one of Joey's cards to be a second Graceful Dice -- it was actually a Skull Dice.) Joey set this card along "Skull Dice" down and Espa assumed they were both "Graceful Dice". When Espa's "The Fiend Megacyber" attacked "Swordsman of Landstar", Joey activated this card and rolled a die, but the roll only got a three, meaning "Swordsman of Landstar"'s ATK was only tripled. Joey however then activated "Skull Dice" to Espa's shock. The roll he got from "Skull Dice" was a five, meaning "The Fiend Megacyber"'s ATK was cut by one-fifth, allowing Joey's monster to destroy Espa's.

* In episode 60, this card can be seen in Kaiba's briefcase when he offers all the rare cards inside the briefcase to Koji Nagumo.

* Joey next used this card in his duel with Weevil. When Weevil attacked "Parasite Paracide" with "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth", Joey activated "Skull Dice", but he got a two on the roll which meant "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth"'s ATK was cut in half. Joey then activated this card to increase "Parasite Paracide"'s ATK. Joey got a four on the roll, meaning "Parasite Paracide"'s ATK was quadrupled. allowing "Parasite Paracide" to counterattack and destroy "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth".

* This card was used again in Joey's duel with Yami Marik. This card was used on Yami Marik's free "Plasma Eel" (the other two were equipped to "Rocket Warrior" and "Lava Golem" respectively). Joey got a six on the roll which meant that "Plasma Eel"'s ATK is increased to 3000. Because of this, "Machine Duplication" was destroyed along with the two "Plasma Eels" that were equipped to Joey's monsters.

* This card was next used in Joey's second duel with Kaiba. He used it on his "Swordsman of Landstar. Joey got a four on the roll, meaning "Swordsman of Landstar"'s ATK is quadrupled. Joey then had his monster destroy Kaiba's "La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp". At the End Phase, the effect of this card wears off, returning the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" back to 500.

Notes
* "Graceful Dice" could only be used on a monster with 500 ATK points or less. It multiplied the chosen monster's ATK points by the result of the roll. At first, the boost lasted until the monster was destroyed, but later in the Anime, it only lasted for a turn.
* Joey used this card in his duel against Apdnarg Otum. When "Swordsman of Landstar" attacked "Wandering Mummy", Joey activated this card to make his monster stronger, but Apdnarg activates "Legendary Gambler" to roll his own dice. Joey got a four while Apdnarg got a six. Since Apdnarg's roll was higher, this card's effect was negated.

* In the anime, it also seemed you could only activate one "Graceful Dice" per turn. However, this became a moot point as Joey (the only duelist who used the card) was never shown having more than one Graceful Dice in his deck at any given time.

Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

Battle City[edit]

 • In episode 58, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Espa Roba, who was cheating in the duel (Espa's brothers were on top of a nearby building peeking at Joey's cards and reporting them by radio. They mistook one of Joey's cards to be a second copy of this card, but it was actually "Skull Dice".). Joey sets this card and "Skull Dice" and Espa assumed they were both two copies of this card. Espa's "The Fiend Megacyber" then attacks "Swordsman of Landstar", but Joey activates this card to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" by the result. The result is a three, so the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" is tripled. After "Swordsman of Landstar" destroys "The Fiend Megacyber" in battle with the help of "Skull Dice", Joey reveals that because of how he held his cards, Espa knew Joey had two dice cards in his hand, but he couldn't tell that they were different cards.
 • In episode 60, this card can be seen in Seto Kaiba's briefcase when he offers all the rare cards inside the briefcase to Koji Nagumo.
 • In episode 64, Joey uses this card during his duel against Weevil Underwood. After Joey activates "Skull Dice" and gets a two (which halves the ATK of "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth"), Joey activates this card to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Parasite Paracide" by the result. Joey gets a four, so the ATK of "Parasite Paracide" is quadrupled. "Parasite Paracide" then destroys "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth". On Joey's End Phase, the effect of this card expires.
 • In episode 74, this card appeared within some of the small clips that were shown going through a black background before we see a montage of Joey's Battle City Duels.
 • In episode 76, this card is shown in Joey's hand during his Duel against Yugi Muto while the former was possessed by Marik Ishtar. In the next episode, Joey activates this card and "Skull Dice" when "Archfiend of Gilfer" attacks "Panther Warrior" (whose ATK was 500 due to "Attrition"). Yugi then activates "De-Spell" to destroy this card and prevent Joey from increasing the ATK of "Panther Warrior".

Virtual World[edit]

 • In episode 104, this card can be seen when Joey was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Johnson.
 • In episode 105, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Johnson. He activates this card to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" by the result. Joey gets a six, but Johnson cheats by changing the roll to a one, so the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" doesn't change.
 • In episodes 108 and 109, this card appears in Leichter's flashbacks to Seto Kaiba's childhood.

Battle City Finals[edit]

 • In episode 125, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Yami Marik. In the next episode, this card can still be seen in Joey's hand. In the following episode, Joey activates this card to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Plasma Eel" by the result. Joey gets a six, so the ATK of "Plasma Eel" becomes 3000. Since the ATK of "Plasma Eel" is now more than 500, "Machine Duplication" and the two "Plasma Eels" that were equipped onto Joey's monsters were destroyed.
 • In episode 135, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Kaiba. He activates this card to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar by the result. Joey gets a four, so the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" is quadrupled. On Joey's End Phase, this card's effect expires.

Waking the Dragons[edit]

Grand Championship[edit]

 • In episode 187, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. When "Swordsman of Landstar" attacks "Wandering Mummy", Joey activates this card to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" by the result, but Apdnarg activates "The Legendary Gambler" to roll his own die. Joey got a four while Apdnarg got a six. Since Apdnarg's roll was higher, this card's effect was negated.
 • In episode 190, this card is shown in Joey's hand during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. In the next episode, Joey activates this card to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Sasuke Samurai" by the result so that it would be strong enough to bypass the effect of "Loge's Flame". Joey gets a three, so the ATK of "Sasuke Samurai" is tripled, but this did not make "Sasuke Samurai" strong enough to bypass the effect of "Loge's Flame". On Joey's End Phase, this card's effect expires.

Notes[edit]

 • "Graceful Dice" could only be used on a monster with 500 ATK points or less. It multiplied the chosen monster's ATK points by the result of the roll. At first, the boost lasted until the monster was destroyed, but later in the Anime, it only lasted for a turn.
 • In the anime, it also seemed you could only activate one "Graceful Dice" per turn. However, this became a moot point as Joey (the only duelist who used the card) was never shown having more than one Graceful Dice in his deck at any given time.
