- In episode 165, Rebecca Hawkins played this card against Valon while teaming with Duke Devlin. She Tributed it on her next turn to Summon "Luster Dragon #2. In this appearance, the names of the cards were reversed.
- In episode 185, Yugi Muto saw this card as he looked through Rick's Deck.
- In episode 186, Yami Yugi played this card against the KC DuelTek 760 while using Rick's Deck. He equipped it with "Dragon Treasure", letting it attack and destroy the DuelTek's "Airknight Parshath". The DuelTek Summoned "Slate Warrior", who destroyed itself by attacking "Luster Dragon". This activated its effect, decreasing this card's ATK by 500 and letting the DuelTek's "Berserk Gorilla" destroy it.
- In episode 192, Rebecca played this card against Leon von Schroeder. It destroyed Leon's "Forest Wolf" and is later targeted by Leon's "Gingerbread House", which destroyed it (since its ATK was at least 2500) and gave Leon 500 Life Points. Rebecca Special Summoned it from her Graveyard in Defense Position with "The Shallow Grave", while Leon Summoned "Forest Wolf". She Tributed it to Summon "Luster Dragon #2".
- Its attack name was Sapphire Spark in the Japanese version.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- In episode 35, Slade Princeton played this card against Chazz Princeton. He Normal Summoned it on his second turn. It was destroyed via the effect of Chazz's "Ojama Delta Hurricane!!".
- In episode 141, Goblin Elite Attack Force played this card against Zane Truesdale. It was destroyed by one of Zane's "Cyber Dragons"
- In episode 142, Skull Knight sent this card alongside many other Normal Monsters from his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of his "Magical Merchant". This allowed his "Lycanthrope" to deal more damage via its effect.
Video games
- Chazz Princeton, Slade Princeton, Jagger Princeton and Syun use this in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force.
- Zane Truesdale uses this in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008.
