Wasteland is a field terrain that was shown in Duelist Kingdom. It was used by Rex Raptor and Yami Yugi to power-up their Dinosaur monsters.
In the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, the terrain is represented as the Field Spell Card "Wasteland".
In early video games, the field can be changed to Wasteland by activating "Wasteland", which grants the ATK and DEF changing effects of "Wasteland" to the affected area.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses, this terrain can also be made by using the effects of "Curse of Dragon", "Cyber-Stein", "Dokurorider", and "Weather Control".
