  • In episode 56, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Seeker. He adds this card from his Deck to his hand via the effect of "Berfomet". Yugi then activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
    • This card is also shown on Kaiba's monitor while he and his workers were observing the Duel between Yami Yugi and Seeker.
  • In episode 57, this card can be seen in Seeker's Deck when Yami Yugi searches it and finds out the cards are fake(in the dub, they were real, but were marked).
  • In episode 62, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Arkana. Right after this card is summoned, Arkana activates "Shadow Balance" to destroy monsters on Yami Yugi's side of the field until he has the same number of monsters that Arkana has on his side of the field. Since Arkana controls no monters, the effect of "Shadow Balance" destroys this card and "Big Shield Gardna".
  • In episode 65, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Strings while the latter was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He summons this card in Attack Position. Later "Humanoid Worm Drake" attacks this monster, but Yugi activates "De-Fusion" to return "Humanoid Worm Drake" to the Extra Deck and revive "Humanoid Slime" and "Worm Drake" under Strings's control. Later this card attacks and destroys "Humanoid Slime". On Yugi's next turn, he tributes this card and "Beta The Magnet Warrior" in order to Tribute Summon "Buster Blader".[1]
  • In episode 75, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler while the latter was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He summons this card on the first turn of the Duel. Joey then activates "Raigeki" to destroy this card.
  • In episode 82, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. He summons this card in Attack Position. This card then attacks and destroys Bakura's "The Portrait's Secret". On Yami Yugi's next turn, this card attacks directly after "Gamma The Magnet Warrior" attacks and destroys Bakura's "The Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams". On Yami Yugi's next turn, this card attacks directly after "Gamma The Magnet Warrior" attacks and destroys Bakura's "Headless Knight". Later Yugi Tributes this card in order to Tribute Summon "Dark Magician".
  • In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.

Virtual World[edit]

  • In episode 99, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Gansley. He activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
    • This card also appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Gansley. This is one of the few known Yami Yugi selects to be placed into his Deck.
    • This card also appears when Yami Yugi was choosing which monster should be his Deck Master before "Kuriboh" selects itself.
  • In episode 103, Yugi uses this card while he was going through a door puzzle. After he summons this card, the Level 3 door monster, "Dark King of the Abyss" appears. The door then equips "Dark King of the Abyss" with "Sword of Dark Destruction", increasing its ATK by 400 and decreasing its DEF by 200. Yugi then activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
    • This card also appears in a flashback Téa Gardner has when she remembers Yugi talking about "Maha Vailo" looking similar to him and having a great power inside its effect.
  • In episode 108, this card can be seen when Seto Kaiba was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Leichter.
    • This card also appears in a flashback explained by Leichter when he reminds Seto that his birthday gift from Gozaburo Kaiba was where all the mistakes made by Seto himself began.
  • In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto Kaiba that his treachery began when Gozaburo gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.
  • In episode 111, Yugi uses this card during his Tag Duel with Joey against the Big Five (who were using Tristan Taylor's body). He summons this card in Defense Position. "The Legendary Fisherman" then attacks and destroys this card.
  • In episode 117, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba. He summons this card in Defense Position. Noah's "Shinato, King of a Higher Plane" then attacks and destroys this card. The Deck Master Ability of Noah's Deck Master then activates, halving Yugi's Life Points. Noah then gained Life Points equal to the damage Yugi took as per the Deck Master Ability of "Shinato".

Battle City Finals[edit]

  • In episode 132, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. He summons this card in Defense Position. Kaiba then activates "Cloning" to Special Summon a Clone Token with the same stats as this card. Kaiba then activates "Cost Down" to reduce the Level of all monsters in his hand and field by two. He then Tributes the Clone Token to summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card.
  • In episode 138, this card is seen in Yami Yugi's hand during his Duel against Yami Marik. Three episodes later, Yugi summons this card in Defense Position. Later "The Winged Dragon of Ra" attacks "Obelisk the Tormentor", but Yugi activates "Magical Dimension" to Tribute this card and "Obelisk the Tormentor" in order to Special Summon "Dark Magician". In the next episode, Yugi banishes this card in order to activate "Ragnarok". This card was then shown as one of the many monsters that were used to hold down Yami Marik's "The Winged Dragon of Ra".

Waking the Dragons[edit]

  • In episode 146, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Gurimo. He summons this card in Defense Position. "Obelisk the Tormentor" then attacks and destroys this card.
  • In episode 148, this card appears in Yugi's thoughts when Yami Yugi notes that although Pegasus no longer has the Millennium Eye, he was the chosen one and he was the creator of Duel Monsters.
  • In episode 156, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". Two episodes later, Yami Yugi activates "Hand Control" to force Rafael to activate "Necromancy" which allows Yami Yugi to revive this card, "Berfomet", "Big Shield Gardna" and "Kuribabylon". All four of Yami Yugi's monsters then then gained 500 ATK due to "The Seal of Orichalcos". Yugi then tributes this card and "Berfomet" in order to Tribute Summon "Dark Magician". Later Rafael activates the effect of "Guardian Eatos" to banish this card, "Dark Magician", "Dark Magician Girl", "Berformet", and "Big Shield Gardna" from the Graveyard and increase the ATK of "Eatos" by the total ATK of the banished monsters.
  • In episode 159, Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor are taken to Dartz's vault and they see this card along with every card in existence at the time (with the exception of the Legendary Dragons and the Egyptian Gods).
  • In episode 160, this card is seen in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he saw that his own monsters were angry at him for his selfish actions and when he lost his Duel with Rafael.
  • In episode 162, during Yami Yugi's Duel against Weevil Underwood, Yugi draws this card through the effect of "Berserker Soul". This card was the second card Yami Yugi drew through the effect of "Berserker Soul". Yugi then sends this card to the Graveyard to allow "Breaker" to attack directly again.
  • In episode 163, both Yami Yugi and Yugi use this card during their Duel against each other. Yugi sets his copy in Defense Position. Yami Yugi then summons his copy and uses it to attack and destroy Yugi's copy. On Yami Yugi's next turn, he activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
  • In episode 164, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against an Orichalcos Soldier. He activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". After "Orichalcos Gigas" attacks and destroys "Chimera", Yugi uses the effect of "Chimera" to revive this card. On the soldier's next turn, "Orichalcos Gigas" (whose ATK was 2400 due to its own effect and "The Seal of Orichalcos") attacks this card, but Yugi activates "Mirror Force" to destroy "Orichalcos Gigas" and inflict the ATK difference between this card and "Orichalcos Gigas" as damage to the soldier. The soldier then uses the effect of "Orichalcos Gigas" to bring it back even stronger (which made the ATK of "Orichalcos Gigas" 2900). On the soldier's next turn, "Orichalcos Gigas" attacks and destroys this card.
    • This episode marks the only time Yami Yugi summoned this card via the effect of "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". All other instances had him summon "Berfomet" instead.
  • In episode 175, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He discards this card due to the effect of "Kuribandit". Rafael then activates the effect of "Guardian Eatos" to banish this card, "Gamma The Magnet Warrior", and "Kuribandit" from Yami Yugi's Graveyard in order to increase the ATK of "Guardian Eatos" by the total ATK of the banished monsters until the end of the Battle Phase.

Grand Championship[edit]

  • In episode 196, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Leon von Schroeder. He activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".

Dawn of the Duel[edit]

  • In episode 200, this card appears within Yami Yugi's mind when Yami Bakura claims to him that his mind is an unsolvable maze and that he pursues games like riddles.
  • In episode 223, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yugi. He activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
