D.D. Tower: Sacred Light Dimension

D.D. Tower: Dark Dimension is an event that occurred in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links.

History

This event has run one time, throughout the following time period:

  • December 14, 2018 until December 25, 2018 (the D.D. BOX remained available until January 1, 2019)

Event details

  • The D.D. Tower: Sacred LIGHT Dimension has 30 floors.
    • On December 18, 2018, 10 more floors were unlocked.
    • On December 21, 2018, 10 more floors were unlocked.
    • Floors 31-50 have enemy monster start with the Skill: D.D. Miasma, in which at the start of the player's turn, he/she takes damage equal to the number of Player's turn x 50.
  • The player must defeat all monsters on a floor to move on to the next floor. Also, they will receive a reward each time they complete a floor for the first time.
    • An Event-exclusive Skill: Willpower has been added. This Skill boosts the ATK/DEF of your monsters by 100 x no. of consecutive number of defeats against a monster in the Duel (max. 3).
      • Defeats against D.D. Invaders are also counted towards Willpower Skill.
      • Willpower Skill will not overwrite the Skill that the player uses during the Duel. It is the only Skill in the game that the player can run in addition to another Skill.
  • Each Duel has Duel Missions that the player can complete to earn D.D. Orbs. 5 D.D. Orbs can be exchanged for 1 random item from the D.D. BOX.
    • After all the items are obtained, the D.D. BOX is automatically reset, and the chance of pulling a Foil card is increased.
  • The player's LP carries over between Duels, but if the player's LP exceeds 4000 at the end of a Duel, they will start with 4000 LP during the next Duel. The player gains 100 LP every 5 minutes and cannot Duel while they have 0 LP.
    • If the player Duels a Tower Monster or Tower Boss Monster other than the most recently unlocked one, LP carried over at the end of the Duel cannot exceed the amount the player started the Duel with, before applying regeneration over time. However, if the player's LP is lower than they started the Duel with, this loss will be carried over.

D.D. BOX

There are 24 items in the D.D. BOX. The player can exchange 5 D.D. Orbs for 1 random item from the BOX, also the player can reset the box at any time. In addition, Gems were also added on the D.D. Box.

After the conclusion of the event, the LP Potions are replaced by 1000 Gold each; the LP Potions (Small) are replaced by 200 Gold each; while the D.D. Draw items are replaced by 500 Gold each.
