Theme Chronicle

Theme Chronicle is an event that took place in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel from January 17, 2023 through January 30, 2023. The second iteration ran from January 17, 2024 through January 29, 2024.

Event details[edit]

During this event, some cards that are not part of an archetype featured in Solo Mode cannot be used. In addition, this event uses a unique Forbidden/Limited List.

During this event, the player can earn Medals by Dueling using a Loaner Deck or their own Deck. The player earns 500 Medals when they win and 50 Medals when they lose. No Medals are earned if the player surrenders.

Players are given rewards based on the number of Medals collected, including Icons, a Title, Gems, and Legacy Pack tickets.

Difficulty Level ☆2
A “Vendread” Deck that has been revamped with the addition of cards. “Ravenous Vendread” is a powerful card that conducts Ritual Summons while preparing monsters to use as materials. Make quicker preparations with effects like that of “Scar of the Vendread”! What’s more, the new Ritual Monster “Vendread Scavenger” can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard, and can boost its own ATK. Summon it early and often, then go on the offense!

Swordsman of the Mist Dragons ☆3[edit]

Difficulty Level ☆3
A “Dinomist” Deck incorporating the power of a “Dracoslayer”. Treated as both a “Dracoslayer” and “Dinomist”, “Dinomight Powerload, the Dracoslayer” has a Pendulum Effect that Special Summons allies in the other Pendulum Zone, and a monster effect that recovers those following from your Extra Deck when Tributed. Make good use of these to bring powerful monsters like “Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer” into the fray! When you’re ready, Pendulum Summon a bunch of “Dinomist” monsters for a sudden blitz!
