Animation Chronicle
Animation Chronicle (Japanese: アニメーションクロニクル, Animēshon Kuronikuru) is a series of OCG-exclusive Booster Packs. Starting from Animation Chronicle 2021, the Collectors Pack series was renewed into this one.
Each Animation Chronicle features an adaptation of anime-only cards into the real life OCG, some with altered effects to better suit the game balance. The first two sets (for 2021 and 2022) featured around 50 unique cards, the vast majority being printed for the first time. In contrast, the set for 2023 contained around 60 cards and allocated slightly under half of them for new anime-based cards, while the rests were reprints of anime cards related to themes featured in other sets released around the same time. This shift coincided with the return of anime-original cards being released in Core Boosters, starting with "Dark Corridor" in Duelist Nexus, the first set of Series 12
In TCG, these cards were mostly allocated to the Battles of Legend series, but the 2023 cards were moved to the 60 Card Set booster Maze of Millennia
