RE: H. Mirror...[edit]

  1. It's not my image.
  2. I considered that it was fake for a while, but there was no way for anyone to get the monster image of that quality, unless it was from one of those official sites. I was going to ask User:Blackwings0605 about it after he comes back (since he knows a lot of those sites).
  3. It's nothing like T.G. Christmas Angel, as this card was actually shown in the 5Ds anime. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:53, May 10, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Flip =/= Activate?[edit]

When you flip a face-down Trap Card with a quick-like effect, like Phantom Hand, you do not have to apply its effect as well at that moment. But it is still the activation of a Trap Card, so even if you choose not to apply also its effect but just activate the card (flip it face-up), cards like Dark Bribe can still be chained and negate the activation of the card. RE:Ignition Effect Question Recycle & 14 out of 14 Forums got Unsigned...[edit]

I'll update the FAQs section soon; along with a few other things.
Probably not possible. But we could add an edit notice. Regular talk pages already have them, but not forums, but then again, it's in the header so anyone who would ignore the header would probably ignore the edit notice too. Unless we make the edit notice really stand out *cough*size 72 red font bold underlined*cough*; and even still there will be people who will ignore it. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:09, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

De-Fusion Question[edit]

So... what happens if you activate defusion on this guy? — This unsigned comment was made by 119.224.33.76 (talkcontribs) 11:10, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

If you had a part-full field, you can revive the same Fusion Material Monsters to the field, fill up the field with them and leave (whatever number remains of Materials) in the Graveyard. Or if Falzar or dest disagreed with this, then I would say that you cannot do this while the field is part-full (as you have 1-4 monsters on your side of the field, and you de-fused fifth monster - F.G.D). Same reason for the Fusion Monster had Fusion Sub, you still De-Fusion and Special Summon the Fusion Substitution back to the field along with it original partner(s). --FredCat 11:19, May 13, 2011 (UTC)
If you use it on your own Five-Headed Dragon: Card Rulings:De-Fusion, the one on Chimeratech Overdragon says otherwise.
Note that you can only Special Summon them if all of the Fusion Materials are in YOUR OWN Graveyard, regardless of who controlled Five-Headed Dragon. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:29, May 13, 2011 (UTC)
Indeed, good thing that the ruling article you mentioned is still legal enough. Wouldn't that been same monster if my opponent fused when I de-fused it in my control? --FredCat 11:31, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

Need to report harassment/vandalism[edit]

BobaFett was getting into a flame war with me over his "changes" to a few of my decks, refusing to listen to me when I explained to him why I wouldn't go for a few of his suggestions, and even reversed my edits to get rid of the natter after it was clear it was going to become a flame war. Now he's insisting he's "helping" me and not a vandal while continuing to undo my work on my own threads. I've told him multiple times, now, to leave me alone, but he refuses. Where can I go to report him? SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 13:17, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

I saw that coming, Synjo, but you're also cause the problem. So report would be my responsible for this minute, and I want you both to deal the problem civilian and polite, instead of argue like two babies that cry over a spill milk. I had deal with this before - I had some fight with GrouchMan (User:GrouchMan) for his reason, but now he and I are friends, due to respect and peace. --FredCat 13:22, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

Excuse me Fred, but I didn't change his deck. I made my own version of it and he rejected it saying that I was elitist etc.BobaFett2 (talk)

That's what I did. I made a new section with a new deck template and posted my version.BobaFett2 (talk)

Also, I've been attempting to be polite and explain to him that I'm not being elitist.BobaFett2 (talk)

No, he moved the forums after getting rid of my versions. My version is Jackal Lockdown V.1.2 V.BF2.BobaFett2 (talk)

He made some suggestions, and I did indeed reject them, but I didn't start with the elitist stuff until he started pressing the issue; he suggested I cut down the deck to 40 cards, I explained to him that I'm more comfortable dueling with a 50 card deck, and he refused to accept that; he told me to get rid of Uruz due to it being a "-1 advantage", I calmly explained my reasons for using it (I believe it's better than Winged Sage Falcos, since it doesn't require the opponent's monster to be in a certain battle position to bounce it), and that I didn't believe in the "-1 advantage" stuff, and he refused to drop it; He insisted I put in an extra deck with Black Rose and Stardust Dragons, I told him I don't like putting extraneous synchros into a deck that doesn't need them, and he continued to insist. It wasn't until the back and forth bordered on a flame war that I deleted the entire conversation, and listed my reasons as such, and in response he undid the deletion and started harassing me about how he was in the right. I told him several times to leave me alone, at first calm but then more forceful when he refused to take the hint. I tried to work with him, explaining why I didn't accept some of his offers, and he refused to drop it and move on to something else. THAT is why I say he's an elitist and a vandal and harasser; I did everything I could to calmly resolve this situation, but he pressed the issue just to get his point across and force me to admit he was right. So if anything, he's the one who needs to be reported for this, not me. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 13:48, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

I never insisted on Stardust of Black Rose. I said that they'd help (simply another option). I didn't continue to insist upon the advantage, I just said that the deck size trick was mathematically proven.BobaFett2 (talk)

He did insist on Stardust and Black Rose after I told him I didn't think the deck needed synchros, and he did continue the advantage argument after I explained to him my reasons for using Uruz. Check the history if you don't believe me. And I don't give a damn if the deck limit is "mathematically proven" to him, it isn't to me; I've tried working decks with that low of a card limit, and I always find myself getting decked out without fully implementing the deck's strategy. 50 is my "Goldilocks number", and he refuses to accept that and work with that. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 13:53, May 14, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I did say that you should put them in and gave my reasons, but then you started calling me stuff and that's the flaming part.BobaFett2 (talk)
Hey, relax the fire! Is this article for argument? --FredCat 13:54, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

No problem Fred, I'll go edit some galleries.BobaFett2 (talk)

I understand and respect that he was trying to help me. My beef was less that I didn't agree with his suggestions, but that he kept on pushing the issue of me implementing them when I already gave my reasons for disagreeing with them. When he started with that, it was becoming clear that it was basically talking to a brick wall and that any more discussion would just lead to a flame war, hence my deletions, and the last straw was when he undid those deletions - it seemed like he was just trying to get me to give up and agree with his "suggestions", at that point. Now that it's over, though, if he doesn't fall into that same pit, I'm willing to give him another chance to give advice; all I ask is that, when I say no and give my reasons, that should be the end of it. Re:Trivia...[edit]

What I'm saying is that it would make no sense for a Japanese YGO card to name itself after an English Pokemon name. It's not likely that whoever designed the card is aware of what Pokemon names are changed to in localization. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 02:09, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Card Rulings:Debunk[edit]

It has been updated! ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 21:14, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

Yes they are! Check Konami's TCG Gameplay section in the official site. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 21:21, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
It is better to have links at least to the cards. The repeated link doesn't matter. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 21:45, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
Having links to the same card in all Rulings helps to many things. For example, "Debunk"'s 4th Ruling mentions the card "Imperial Iron Wall". So it belongs in the "Mentions in Other Rulings" category in Card Rulings:Imperial Iron Wall under the "TCG Rulings" section as well. If it doesn't have link for Debunk, then people cannot see what that Debunk card is unless they search it in the Search Box. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 05:36, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

Noting the artwork change on the card should be enough. There shouldn't really be a need to say it was also done on the pack image. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:43, May 17, 2011 (UTC)
Actually, it's because I misread it. Thought you meant adding it to the Artworks page.
Yes, I agree on updating the image to the newest one. But I'm not sure if we should separate the file and comment on Konami's mistake. And at that, maybe find a better quality version of the image as well. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:53, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Overhaul[edit]

  • Well, the page is meant to document "card evolutions". A lot of the cards listed are just cards that happen to share similar effects with other cards, not necessarily evolutions of them. It was getting too ridiculous when some idiot decided that Judgment Dragon, Black Rose Dragon and Levia-Dragon are all somehow related in the evolutionary line. The ones that were removed were the ridiculous ones, and the redundant ones (such as Speed Spells, which are not a downgrade, but rather the exact same Spell in Speed Spell form.) I have permission from Deltaneos, as well. If you disagree with certain ones, then you can say so on the talk page.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 20:18, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Banlist Reasons[edit]

Abbreviations (or anything where individual letters are said) should be preceded by "an", not "a". BobaFett2 (talk)

Actually, whether "an" or "a" gets put before an abbreviation depends on the same rules as for normal words - if the abbreviation starts with a vowel sound ("FTK" - pronounced "eff-tea-kay", "OTK" - pronounced "oh-tea-kay"), then you should use "an" before it. However, if it starts with a consonantal sound ("BEWD" - pronounced "bee-ee-double-you-dee", "DM" - pronounced "dee-em"), it should be preceded with "a". Basing this off of pronunciation, rather than spelling, is also why you can take an hour to read about a unicorn. ;) ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 04:40, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Actually, no. I've looked this stuff up (along with being a grammar expert) and it's always preceded by "an" if it's an abbreviation (unless it's also a word, eg: "radar").BobaFett2 (talk)

RE: Celri, Monk of Dark World[edit]

Note that this card hasn't been released yet, so the answer may differ depending to its actual text's translation!

According to it's current translation, if Celri, Monk of Dark World is discarded by a card's effect to the Graveyard and then Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field with its first effect, then its second effect will activate and you (the owner) must discard 1 card from your hand.

All this made me looking at wrong topic for some reasons. But yes, Falzar got it correct, I moved the only picture to that article due to the fact that my own CardTable2 won't work when I tried to upload the outside link there. --FredCat 10:42, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
Aah, interesting... and I see it was GlowUpBulb (talk contribs) who was fighting for its inclusion; as I recall, he's given us trouble at other times as well, though the quality of his contributions do seem to have improved. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 16:14, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
Indeed... after some hard beaten on his head, it finally get in his hard-head for good reason. --FredCat 17:30, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

XYZ WTF FAKE CARD![edit]

O... k... First of all: Don't call me an idiot.
Second: I FOUND the pictures on INTERNET... How could i know they're real or fake? I mean, HOW would someone make one of these with BLACK BACKGROUND
And third: Trueman's english voice IS Dan Green... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Green_%28voice_actor%29#Anime.2FAnimation
So, seriously, calm down... I don't care if you're an admin here, just... calm down... Tripodnumberone (talkcontribs) 17:44, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

Trueman have no English voice actor. Season 4 was never dubbed. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 19:55, May 28, 2011 (UTC)
That's true, however that name was listed in the link where Tripodnumberone confirmed. --FredCat 19:59, May 28, 2011 (UTC)
That's from Wikipedia, and no source was given on the wikipedia page. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 20:10, May 28, 2011 (UTC)
Fine, dammit! Enough with your coffee today, Coffeedude! --FredCat 20:11, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Divine -> Ark[edit]

I'd love to do that, but it's not going to happen. The difference here is that just because the building is called the "Divine Temple" in the dub, does not mean that the arc will be called the same. In fact, they usually choose different arc names (or split the arcs up further). The arc shouldn't be renamed until it has an dub name. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:34, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Arcanite Question[edit]

Dest was right. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 22:48, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

When Arcanite Magician is Synchro Summoned her Trigger Effect to gain 2 Spell Counters activates and starts a chain. At that time players can respond to the Summon with cards like Bottomless Trap Hole, ect, in chain to Arcanite Magician's effect. But since her ATK is only 400 at that time (until her effect resolves) Bottomless Trap Hole cannot be chained. And when her effect resolves and she gains the Counters and the +2000 ATK, it will be too late to activate Bottomless Trap Hole at that time as the respond to the Summon window has closed. Re:Humor thing again[edit]

Because I'm not in a good mood today, and I'm sick of users removing quotes and shit from articles when they are SUPPOSED to bloody be there. I get really sick of cleaning up the mess others leave behind. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:11, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

Because he is legitimately trying to be helpful. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:23, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Colourless's Lore.[edit]

Unregisterd user.[edit]

That same unregister user said when he reverted a morons edit, that he was given permission. I had to respond on his talk page that it was me who was given permission, however I stated to him that if someone tries to take that out of Leo's bio that by all means he should revert to.Shardsilver (talkcontribs) 13:27, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Proof![edit]

I'm sorry, but there is also no proof as to the "rule" Others keep adding. Sure they put a link in the references, however we can't even see the discussion from this link as to "why" or "why not" on this ruling. So there's no proof on what they're trying to say as well. So please, get someone so we can discuss this more since it seems to be 50/50 right now. Tea-Girl08 18:23, May 31, 2011 (EST)

Really? Sorry, I did not know of this. But still, even judges make mistakes when misinformed. So I'll just ask ATEMVEGETA as to "why" on the ruling. Also, what symbols? This is my first time using the "User Talk", so sorry if I messed up somewhere. Tea-Girl08 18:32, May 31, 2011 (EST)

Monster Effect[edit]

Actually, if the destruction effect is negated (Stardust, Divine Wrath, etc...), then there's no milling.

I guess I should have mentioned that I was talking about the second effect of Cyber Vally, my mistake for the lack of descriptive information. I was just giving examples since I heard some local judge said that these were "legit" moves, which they aren't do to Konami rulings.

Thank you though.

Tea-Girl08 21:58, June 01, 2011 (EST)

Wait, it says "draw 4"? Oops, that's supposed to be "draw 3", but I think the basic idea is known.
I just became a judge recently, I just need to wait for that email from Konami first.
Tea-Girl08 22:12, June 01, 2011 (EST)
4 does sound more logical then 3, if this rule was true (which I'm glad it isn't). I'm just repeating what the duelist said who got this ruling from a judge. I didn't believe this was true, but since it was a casual duel I just decided to let it slide. Tea-Girl08 22:18, June 01, 2011 (EST)

Missing Errata/Fixing Errata[edit]

Same for your "gallery topic" on my talk page, I'll add here when i find an errata that need to be fixed. Here's the first: Card Errata:Phoenix Wing Wind Blast Wilimut TalkMail Paris, 15:44, June 4, 2011 (UTC)

Do you want to make a not for these two cards? It is exactly the same text but the writings is smaller in the the original lore than in the reedition. Wilimut TalkMail Paris, 17:59, June 4, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Elemental HERO Wild Wingman's Images[edit]

Delt got to it. I was at work when you messaged me, so I didn't get it until about seven or so hours later and he had already moved them. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 14:22, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Thank you for the idea[edit]

I actually saw a comment by you on deviantArt about 30 minutes ago.

(Also, I knew that message was from you about that page before I saw it. Don't know how XD) - Silver Glaceon @ 21:14, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

It was this account on one of slifertheskydragon's deviations — This unsigned comment was made by Silver Glaceon (talkcontribs) 21:30, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
D'oh! Thanks for fixing that. - Silver Glaceon @ 21:54, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
I clicked on a link to one of your fanfics about a month ago. - Silver Glaceon @ 08:31, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
I don't know which one it was, but I didn't have an account then so I couldn't comment/favorite. - Silver Glaceon @ 11:45, June 6, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Question[edit]

Lol, I don't get your point? Wilimut TalkMail Paris, 20:22, June 6, 2011 (UTC)

I got really confused for the Cestus haha because when you go on Dark Crisis the 1st edition gallery is called NA but the unlimited is called EN... I'll have to work on fixing that too soon! Wilimut TalkMail Paris, 09:56, June 7, 2011 (UTC)
Actually, it was HEROS, not HERO'S according to the image policy. But yeah, it's done. Wilimut TalkMail Paris, 23:13, June 7, 2011 (UTC)
