RE: Effect-based relations only!!

I think the easiest way to solve this is to form OFFICIAL rules for posting Trivia. Of course, I don't believe we should use these "Effect based relations", as those are completely asinine. As they completely disregard other trivia, such as origin, similar appearance (art-wise), or relation to the card user (if there is one or if there even is a card user). And who cares if YOU don't think its trivia? Others might, so its better to not just flat out get rid of it, than it is to form a discussion with the poster, and come to an agreement. Are templates not working for you, or is it just me?

I just want to let you know that for some reason, I can't open up any archetype tabs at the bottom of a page, or the things on a page where it tells you what episode or card set the card was in. Profile Editing

Sorcerer of Dark Magic x Counter Trap Cards & Illegal cards Issues

Well, I read the card rulings of the above quoted "Sorcerer Of Dark Magic" and I started to think about something: Can it negate Counter Traps too? I know Counter traps are Spell Speed 3 and usually can only be chained to other Counter Traps, but in the card text of Sorcerer it says that we can negate the activation of any Trap Card and destroy it. Would it includes counter traps too?

And about the Illegal cards, I saw some like "Card of Last Will and "Yasushi the Skull Knight" and I really didn't get why they are illegal cards. They don't enter in any category of the ban list, and here we even got the page card tips activated for 'em all. I read the page read to "Limitation Text and I still don't get about it. No, Sorcerer of Dark Magic cannot negate Counter Traps. The effect doesn't specifically say "except Counter Trap Cards" because it is redundant.

The illegal cards you mentioned were never intended for real play. Limitation text means somewhere on a card it says that it cannot be used in a Tourney Duel. "Paladin of the Cursed Dragon" is a counterpart of "Paladin of White Dragon", which is related to the "Blue-Eyes" series, but not itself a member of it. So it's related to a card that's related to the series. Related cards need to directly link to a member, and that monster is one to many degrees removed from the series. "The Structure Deck: Dragunity Legion Challenge"

Listen, I has been parsing (looking @) all the UE galleries you've filled in and while that's great, I've been focusing a bit less on that and (a bit) more on flimsy and EFFECT-BASED RELATIONS trivia (especially when such NEWER crud appears on here.) Hasn't been as big on mah list as it once was but I'll do such every now n then so if you're uploading UEs bc there's no other better Wikia aspect to do @ certain moments, try not 2 worry about it 2 much if you are, they can be always (tried) to be seeked out and put on here anytime! =j

However that being said, I gots a "challenge" for ya if you'd like, to look for something that may NOT be out there but in fact, IS--the UE gallery for the Draguity Legion SD. Now, UEs of this Deck DO exist even though I went through and weeded out UEs of SDs that never got released (albeit the Machine's Re-Volt UE release in the Machine Box package was a pleasant "prove me wrong" exception!) I know this because 1) this Troll and Toad search result of cards from the said Deck (as well as the Deck itself) has UE edition options (take it from me, TrollandToad has now been my de facto single card place for over 2 years now!) and 2) this video offa YouTube exhibits them in living proof.

Last the "Scholarly" one here tried this search (the 2^nd go 'round), he spent over a half-hour last time--with zilch success besides the above references. Do ya think that u can give looking for them a shot? I mean, the Deck's Cover Card is in the gallery so I KNOW the "others" HAS to be out there. Hello Arcadia. My laptop recently died, and since the one I've borrowed can't download Skype or Devpro, I was bored out of my mind. Hence, I've stared going back to simple projects like gallery image adding. A quick glance at my main image sites didn't show any UE editions from that Structure Deck, but I will look into it further later. The user who added that one image hasn't posted on the site in 2 years sadly, but there's always a chance they'll respond to a message posted on their talk page. Maybe they'll recall where they got it from, or better yet, return to the site and upload some more.

Thanks for your continued uploads, though I'd like to remind you to please try to crop your images as well as you possibly can (sides and top/bottom), and upload pngs instead of jpgs, even if the gallery's blue-link ends in jpg. Found DM episodes made by Renrei00

I found a place where the episodes you have been using are being put up for download. It is neoarkcradle.net. In order to get there, you need to register there first. After that, you need to head for the - Astral-Union DVD-Rips DM - recovery page in order to get to where the episodes are. It should be a list from 1 to 224. You need to download it and make sure you have a video player like div player to play the video. This link is only for the DM episodes. However the website I mentioned has the other series episodes there in raw and subtitles. Once you find this and test it out, I will need a DM image of "Lava Golem" in hologram form. Winternightmare has no interest in joining this website, so I'm trying to see if you and/or Golden Key would want to go find episodes here because I am trying to get a DM image of "Lava Golem" in hologram form in Japanese(there is only in English despite that "Lava Golem" appeared in both versions of the anime). I have access to divx player and the videos through my account on my neoarkcradle.net. I have no trouble getting images though there are black lines above that I can't remove. I could upload it and have another user like you modify to remove the black lines, but how do I remove the black lines (in the event that my first plan to have another user modify the image doesn't work)? It's a simple enough thing to do. You'd be screencapping, so just paste into Paint and crop the image. Just move it up until the top line disappears, then move the bottom part so that it cuts off the black at the bottom. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 00:34, April 8, 2014 (UTC)

Someone apparently got the Machine Madness box and scanned the Ultra Rares, and posted there. SALUTATIONS, AGAIN..

OK OK--I'LL ADMIT IT!! I find it QUITE tedious to change image types in galleries that have been either near or partially filled in (I have done such to NEAR or COMPLETELY empty galleries such as some of the Duelist Pack and Hidden Arsenal boosters) and its just SO much more "rewarding" to know I can do such as UN-tedious as possible. For the galleries that are otherwise and have either all .jpgs or a mix of image extensions, I usually try to "resist" trying to fill them up as they are, as I rather not hound someone else to do them and risk receiving unecessary (Internet) flak.

I also for one understand that an instance of UltimateKuriboh's to-do list is to overhaul all the .jpgs here to .pngs so that the former format here can go EXTINCT ONCE AND FOR ALL!! There doesn't seem to be many galleries left that has this problem but for the ones that do, now THAT imo is a blemish that is definitely worth extracting.

Character Listings

I understand why you feel that the character listing must be in alphabetical order, but what I did was just to make the list in proper order to distinguish the characters in a way that fans or new fans would understand who these characters are and what roles they play or represent in the series, much like the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series' character listings, but that's just me and my opinion which wouldn't matter. Problematic (multi-)user?

SALUTATIONS AGAIN, GOLDEN KEY!!

You're probably not gonna believe this--I was messaged by that "multi-user" whho you've been eternally banning so much lately (he/she was dubbed "Erratic Behavior" when he/she messaged me,) telling me of a better site link for LVAL UEs. While I thanked him/her for the good eye, I also almost immediately recognized the user as that said user you've been banning over and over. The user seems to mean well here given his UE uploads, which is why I'm flummoxed as to what grave sin the user did that has him/her NOT in good standing here. Here's the relevant stuff I've told him/her in my response...

BTW, whether or not you were initially Simple Guillotine or not, I do know that you're the one that, for whatever reason, you (or all your accounts for that matter) are being eternally blocked by GoldenKey. Not sure why (and to be frank, it's none of mah business.) However, if I could suggest something to you (since I'm pretty confident that you do mean well here) is that whenever you create a new account, try to mend whatever "bridge" you may have broken by messaging GoldenKey and see if you can be in good graces here again on this Wikia (since it seems like you still aren't yet.) Nevertheless, I again thank you for augmenting the UE gallery fill-ins.

P.S. If you do speak to GK, tell him ArcadiasScholarly "sent" ya, and that as far as at least THIS instance goes, I'm trying to keep the peace with true-blue Wikia contributors! =j

Re: Set Number

No problem, will do so.

However, I did create another problem. I thought Re Bible needed to be renamed. However, I changed it back due to the fact that the Org translation wasn't printed on a TCG card yet. I ended up with a redirect problem, see Card Trivia:Re Bible, Card Trivia:Resurrectome and Card Tips:Re Bible, Card Tips:Resurrectome (I had to make sure the tips and trivia pages went where they were supposed to go). I'd appreciate some help in cleaning those up.

I'll take care of the set numbers, and sorry for the trouble caused with Re Bible.

That's a common problem that pops up when pages get moved. Moving them back to the previous name and then once more to the proper name fixes it, but I believe that's something only admins can do. Hey key, please give the user MCN51FJ a direct warning for the character template you locked. There was no edit warring on my part key, after I noticed that a user kept going right behind me and changing the edit after Ive edited it, I then wrote on the talk page and requested the random changing to stop but the he did not reply and kept vandalizing it anyways, After the third time in doing this there's now a 2 for the talk page but there isn't any response on the page except mine suggesting that he wrote something on the talk page then deleted it right after.

He made no attempt in trying to discuss this properly and kept moving characters around and main characters to supporting, please give him a warning when you can as he does not know what he is doing.````

You mentioned not having pictures on user pages. I've been a member of, and even an admin of, several wikias, but never seen this restriction before, or any restrictions on user pages for that matter. See Images on user pages. This is basically Wikipedia's policy in regards to the matter; other wikias should be following the same rules. Since we're a fairly large wikia, we choose to enforce rules that others ignore. Interesting... If I'm reading this right, the main reason for this rule is copyright law? I have to say, that content pages and user pages would be the difference between fair and unfair use seems rather odd. That a major company like Konami would seek to enforce copyright law over user pages of a fansite would be rather odd as well. Templates

Alright, if you want me to stop editing then I'll stop. Changing the templates into alphabetical order is fine, but it makes finding characters a little more complicated, but hey, that's just my opinion and all opinions don't matter. I just did what I thought was right or better, but apparently its not so who cares. Not everyone agrees with the characters are categorized and likely to complain about, not that I will, but others might. I understand, but most times I feel as if my comments or opinions won't make much of difference and many contributors would either lash out or ignore me. I know its a stupid thing to think about, but that's just how I am. My edits mostly involved roles or placement in the anime like 5D's. Because there were too many characters in one category, I felt that we should at least divide them by placement or role. There are those who would like to know who the antagonists are, so there should have been a category for them instead of placing them in the supporting category. The Yusei-Jack-Akiza ordering might not sit right with others, but its the correct placement. As for the GX template, and I know you and others won't agree, but I just felt that Aster didn't play much of a main role in the series, but more of a "main supporting" role or a "main rival" role. If this is how the templates will appear, then it would be rather confusing and frustrating. I actually noticed the next anime image of "Grand Mole" (used for episode 132) resembles the TCG/OCG effect of "Grand Mole" (I compared them a bit). Card Gallery help

In the various card galleries, there are problems with the images that show cards that are displayed on yugioh.com. There are either no galleries from the website or the redirect links to those pages need to be modified to go to that specific card (this may be because that these were the images posted by the guy that gave great ow.png images, but was abusing multiple accounts for some reason). I already did the images that were posted on January 7, 2014, but I will need help with the images for the ow.png galleries after that and any that were already there before the first card update. The various cards shown in yugioh.com and my edits to those pages can help you know which ones are already changed. Please reply when you can. Limiter Removal image

Due to a hasty typing error I accidentally wrote label Limiter Overload's OW/png image as "Limiter Removal".
