"Fusion!?" (フュージョン！？ Fyūjon!?) is the fourth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel LP manga. It was first published November 4, 2021, in the Saikyō Jump magazine.
Summary[edit]
Taiyo has just obtained a card he doesn't know about, so he asks his brother to tell him what it does.
Featured Duel: Taiyo Asobe vs Taikai Asobe[edit]
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Taiyo
Taiyo draws "Fusion". Taiyo Normal Summons "Ultimate Flag Beast Avant Wolf" (1500/200) and "Straynge Cat" (0/1400). Taiyo Tributes "Avant Wolf" to Tribute Summon "Ultimate Flag Beast Cannon Rhino" (1600/200). Taiyo Tributes "Straynge Cat" to Tribute Summon "Accel Wonder Flare" (1700/1600). Taiyo activates the effect of "Flare", shuffling a monster from his Graveyard into the Deck to inflict 400 damage to Taikai, and if he inflicted damage to Taikai this way, Taiyo can make a face-up monster on his field become Spellcaster Type until the end of this turn. Taiyo shuffles an unknown monster from his Graveyard into the Deck (Taikai: 8000 → 7600 LP). Taiyo Sets "Fusion" in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 2: Taikai
Taikai Normal Summons "Cannon Soldier" (1400/1300) and two copies of "Giga-Tech Wolf" (1200/1400). Taikai Tributes the first "Giga-Tech Wolf" to Tribute Summon "Machine Attacker" (1600/1300). Taikai activates the Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from his field to the Graveyard as material. Taikai sends the second "Giga-Tech Wolf" and "Cannon Soldier" from his field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Labyrinth Tank" (2400/2400) in Attack Position. "Machine Attacker" attacks "Cannon Rhino", so both monsters are destroyed. "Labyrinth Tank" attacks and destroys "Flare" (Taiyo: 8000 → 7300 LP).
Turn 3: Taiyo
Taiyo Normal Summons "Ultimate Flag Beast Aim Eagle" (200/200) and "Ultimate Flag Beast Surge Bicorn" (800/200). As Taikai has a face-up Level 7 or higher monster on his field, Taiyo activates the effect of "Aim Eagle", sending two face-up LIGHT Attribute monsters from his field to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Machine Type monster from his hand face-up to his field, and he increases its ATK by 1000 until the end of this turn. Taiyo sends "Aim Eagle" and "Surge Bicorn" from his field to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Crafter Drone" (1000/0 → 2000/0) from his hand in Attack Position. Taiyo's hand contains two copies of "Cyber Falcon". Taiyo Normal Summons two copies of "Cyber Falcon" (1400/1200). Taiyo activates his face-down "Fusion". Taiyo sends both copies of "Cyber Falcon" from his field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Mach Mega Falcon" (2500/1500) in Attack Position. Taiyo activates the effect of "Mach Mega Falcon" to gain 500 LP, then if he gained LP this way, he inflicts 500 damage to Taikai (Taiyo: 7300 → 7800 LP; Taikai: 7600 → 7100 LP). "Mach Mega Falcon" attacks and destroys "Labyrinth Tank" (Taikai: 7100 → 7000 LP). "Crafter Drone" attacks Taikai directly (Taikai: 7000 → 5000 LP). As Taiyo ends his turn, the ATK of "Crafter Drone" returns to normal ("Crafter Drone": 2000/0 → 1000/0).
Turn 4: Taikai
An unknown amount of time is skipped, but Taikai wins the Duel.
