Duelist Kingdom

• During Yami Yugi's first duel with Seto Kaiba, Yugi uses this card to destroy Kaiba's "Saggi the Dark Clown" but then this card gets destroyed by Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".

• During Yugi Muto's duel with Weevil Underwood, Yugi uses this card to attack Weevil's "Cocoon of Evolution" but the Defense points of "Cocoon of Evolution" was too high due to the Field Power Bonus so this card's attack fails. After using "Curse of Dragon" equipped with "Burning Land" to destroy the forest area to remove the Field Power Bonus from "Cocoon of Evolution", Yugi sends this card to attack "Cocoon of Evolution" again with the attack succeeding in destroying the cocoon but Weevil's Insect was inside long enough to become "Great Moth" so Yugi uses "Polymerization" to fuse this card and "Curse of Dragon" together to create "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

• During Yami Yugi's duel with PaniK, Yugi summons this card. He then uses "Polymerization" to fuse him and "Curse of Dragon" together to create "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

• During Yami Yugi's second duel with Seto Kaiba, Yugi has this card destroys Kaiba's "Saggi the Dark Clown" again but this time the clown was infected with Kaiba's "Crush Card Virus", resulting in this card being destroyed immediately afterwards.

• During Yami Yugi's duel with Mai Valentine, this card attacks Mai's "Harpie Lady" but Mai activates "Mirror Wall" which negates this card's ATK and halves this card's ATK. This card then gets destroyed by Mai's "Harpie Lady" equipped with "Cyber Shield". Later, Yugi revives this card using "Monster Reborn". Two turns later, Yugi activates "Black Luster Ritual" to tribute him and "Kuriboh" to Ritual Summon "Black Luster Soldier".

• In episode 33, this card appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monsters and Spell and Trap Cards.

• During Yugi Muto's duel with Joey Wheeler, Yugi uses this card to destroy Joey's "Giltia the Dark Knight". Two turns later, Yugi uses "Polymerization" to fuse him and "Curse of Dragon" together to create "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

• In episode 35, this card appears in Yugi's thoughts when he notes it will take all the wisdom his grandfather taught him and all the power in his cards to defeat Pegasus.

• While Shadi is wandering though Yugi's mind, Yugi Muto and Shadi see this card within a Stone Slab while wandering through Yami Yugi's mind within the Millennium Puzzle.

Legendary Heroes

• While dueling the Big Five's virtual world, this card briefly appears when Yami Yugi activates "Black Luster Ritual" to tribute him and "Curse of Dragon" to Ritual Summon "Black Luster Soldier".

Battle City

• During Yugi Muto's duel with Bandit Keith (under Marik Ishtar's control), Yugi Muto summons this card. Yugi then uses "Polymerization" to fuse him and "Curse of Dragon" together to form "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

• In episode 131, this card is seen in a series of flashbacks Kaiba has when he notes to himself that he always feels excited when he Duels against Yugi.

• In episode 135, this card is seen in a series of flashbacks that Yugi has when he notes to himself that his rivalry with Kaiba allowed him to fight harder and reach new heights.

• During Yami Yugi's duel with Yami Marik, either this card or "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight" is briely seen when Yugi activates "Ragnarok" to destroy Marik while merged with "The Winged Dragon of Ra".

Virtual World

• In episode 99, this card appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck before his Duel with Gansley.

• In episode 106, this card can be seen when Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor, and Serenity Wheeler were building their Decks for their Duel against Nezbitt.

• In episode 108, this card can be seen when Seto Kaiba was building his Deck for his Duel against Leichter.

Waking the Dragons

• This card can be seen during episode 159 when Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor are taken to vault within Doma's headquarters that contains copies of every card in existence at the time save the Legendary Dragons and the Egyptian Gods.

• During Yami Yugi's duel with Weevil Underwood (under Dartz's influence), this card is seen one final time when Yugi uses "Polymerization" to fuse him and "Curse of Dragon" together to form "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

Dawn of the Duel

• In episode 223, this card appears in a flashback that Téa Gardner has when she notes that "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight" and "Summoned Skull" are monsters that have fought alongside Yugi in his previous Duels.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

• In episode 23, this card, along with "Buster Blader" and "Leghul", was used by an opponent that Belowski faced in a flashback. This was cut from the English version.
