"Symphonic Warrior", known as "Sound Warrior" (音響戦士 Saundo Woriā) in the OCG, is an archetype of WIND Machine monsters, first released in Storm of Ragnarok. Sindy Cross used "Symphonic Warrior Basses" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! D Team ZEXAL manga.
"Symphonic Warrior", known as "Sound Warrior" (音響戦士 Saundoworiā) in the Japanese version, is an archetype of low-Level WIND Machine-Type Tuner monsters released in Storm of Ragnarok, whose special abilities can boost or change some aspect of their fellow "Symphonic Warriors". Later, two Level 4 non-Tuner monsters were released in Secrets of Eternity as Japanese exclusives, with effects to search out and Special Summon their fellows; a Field Spell Card was also released. Although they all have relatively low stats, their effects make them very useful in the right situations, and can use their effects even while in the Graveyard.

The "Symphonic Warrior" monsters are mechanic anthropomorphized music equipment, usually played in a rock band. They all have some sort of support effects to change the stats of monsters on the field. The Pendulum Monsters have more varied effects that allow the swarming of multiple monsters.
The "Symphonic Warriors" are similar to the "Synchron" monsters appearance-wise; both are also Tuner-based archetypes. Where most of the "Synchrons" have vehicle-related and race-related names, the "Symphonic Warriors" have music-related names. They also bear a superficial resemblance to the "Morphtronic" monsters, an archetype of anthropomorphic Machine-types based on household items.

* "Silpheed"/"Garuda the Wind Spirit"/"Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms": The important thing about each of these monsters is that they can Special Summon themselves by banishing WIND monsters from your Graveyard. If you banish "Symphonic Warrior" Tuners, and if you have "Symphonic Warrior Sizerrs" in the Graveyard, you can use it to Special Summon one of those Tuners, leading to a low-cost Synchro Summon. "Tempest" can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard and can help with high-level Synchro Summons, but has a higher summon cost. "Silpheed" and "Garuda" have a lower cost and can be used more easily for Xyz Summons, but cannot Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard.

"Symphonic Warrior", known as "Sound Warrior" (音響戦士サウンドウォリアー Saundo Woriā) in the OCG, is an archetype of WIND Machine monsters, first released in Storm of Ragnarok. Sindy Cross used "Symphonic Warrior Basses" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! D Team ZEXAL manga.

The "Symphonic Warrior" monsters are mechanic anthropomorphized music equipment, usually played in a rock band. They all have some sort of support effects to change the stats of monsters on the field. The Pendulum Monsters have more varied effects that allow the swarming of multiple monsters.

Each "Symphonic Warrior" monster focuses on changing stats of the cards on the field to allow for versatile Synchro Summons. Potentially any Level, Attribute, Type, or even specifically named Monster Card, the player needs for a Synchro Summon, can be obtained by using the support effects of "Symphonic Warrior" monsters. "Symphonic Warrior Basses" can increase the Level of another "Symphonic Warrior" by an amount equal to the number of cards in one's hand. "Symphonic Warrior Piaano" can change the Type of another "Symphonic Warrior", making it useful for Type-oriented Synchro Summons such as for "Stygian Sergeants" (Fiend) or "Trident Dragion" (Dragon). This also allows it to fit into a Deck focused on a Type without many Tuner monsters, such as Zombie. "Symphonic Warrior Guitaar" can Special Summon "Symphonic Warrior" monsters from the Deck or Graveyard, making it easier to get a Tuner and non-Tuner monster onto the field. "Symphonic Warrior Synthess" adds a "Symphonic Warrior" from the Deck to the hand when flipped face-up (other than itself), and can banish itself from the Graveyard to Special Summon a banished "Symphonic Warrior" (again, excluding itself). In addition, once per turn, it can copy the effect and name of another "Symphonic Warrior" monster the player controls or has in their Graveyard, for added versatility.
