Tanner, Bolt

Bolt Tanner, known as Jin Himuro (氷室仁, Jin Himuro) in the Japanese version is a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga. He was a contestant in the D1 Grand Prix but was eliminated in the first round.[1]

Design[edit]

Appearance[edit]

Bolt is a relatively tall man with a wide, muscular build and tanned skin. He wears a form fitting, blue riding suit and has blue, spiked hair.

History[edit]

Not much is known about Bolt's past, other than he apparently suffered an embarrassing loss to Jack on his path to become King.[2]

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's[edit]

A silhouette of Bolt was shown when Lazar was explaining how race, gender and a person's background doesn't matter when entering D1 Grand Prix tournament to Yusei.[3]

His first Duel in the tournament was against Crow Hogan. Bolt started the Duel of with a powerful first turn, Special Summoning his "Machina Cannon" and Setting "Mirror Force" as a contingency. However, Crow overcame his strategy easily, performing a One Turn Kill, eliminating Bolt from the tournament.[1]
