Millennium Key (Forbidden Memories)
The Millennium Key is an item in Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories. This is the game's incarnation of the Millennium Key from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga.
The Millennium Key was held by High Mage Anubisius in ancient Egypt and Shadi in 20th-century Japan.
History[edit]
At the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament, Shadi, who possessed both the Millennium Key and Scales, felt drawn to Yugi's Millennium Puzzle, as his own Millennium Items reacted to it. Yugi told Shadi about a dream where he saw the Prince and Shadi identified the Prince as "Yami Yugi", who was born from the power of the Millennium Puzzle and emerges from within Yugi. Using the Millennium Key, Shadi allowed Yugi to delve deep into his mind to meet with the Prince, who gave him the blank Millennium Item Cards. Yugi defeated Shadi in a round of the tournament, causing the Millennium Key and Scales to be sucked into Millennium Item Cards.
When the prince returned to ancient Egypt, High Mage Anubisius was sworn to protect the Millennium Key. However the Prince defeated him at the Forest Shrine, claiming the Key.
