Millennium Rod (Forbidden Memories)
The Millennium Rod is an item in Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories. This is the game's incarnation of the Millennium Rod from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. This version of the Rod is shaped and colored differently than all other incarnations.
The Millennium Rod was held by Heishin, Seto and the Prince in ancient Egypt and Kaiba in 20th-century Japan.
History[edit]
Heishin obtained the Millennium Rod after discovering the secrets of the Millennium Items in the Forbidden Ruins. He used the Rod to attack the palace in search of the Millennium Puzzle.
In the late 20th century, Kaiba possessed the Millennium Rod. In the finals of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament, the Rod whispered to him that he must beat Yugi. However Yugi won, causing the Millennium Rod to be sucked into a Millennium Item Card.
On the Prince's return to Egypt, Heishin remained in possession of the Millennium Rod, until the Prince defeated him and Seto claimed the Rod. Seto and the Prince took the seven Millennium Items to the Forbidden Ruins, but Seto revealed he had double crossed the Prince and used him as a pawn to gather all seven Items for himself. The Prince defeated Seto in a Duel and took the Rod.
The Millennium Rod remained in the Prince's possession after he became Pharaoh.
