I'm aware, I spent [[Forum:+1 Advantage makes me want to divide by 0|a lot of time dealing with him]] the last time he was here. I thought maybe there was hope when he started posting decks that were 40 cards, but no, he's as stubborn as ever. And he still overuses the word elitist like it's a racial slur. -.-

You have to use Malicious, even if not for Synchros, as it's one of the only 2 D Heroes worth using (the only one IMO). You can always use it to Tribute Summon Plasma in a pinch. I might try a third Prisma just to dump stuff, and it also gives you enough LIGHTs to use BLS. I don't like 2 Trade-Ins for 4 targets, especially when you're trying to dump those targets with Prisma. It leads to dead draws all day. Also, one tech that's nice in D Heroes (doesn't even require Slnchros to use well) is Plaguespreader. It works SO well with Diamond Dude, and it can be that emergency third tribute for the Plasma/Dogma. == Inner boxing Warrior deck (DFF Warrior request) ==

Well to be honest, I would use the The A. Forces for Solidarity(lot cheaper and can go upto 1000ATK boost), Good Goblin Housekeeping instead of pot of duality (mind crush is used locally to counter pot of duality) if the GG is destroyed it is still a plus, I would do one less Warrior Lady of the Wasteland and one less Zubaba Knight in the deck so i can add two Comrade Swordsman of Landstars in the deck, it's always fun to watch a opponent fear a 500ATK creature on the field.

== In response to your question ==

He suggested a few cards that would supposedly "help" my X-Saber deck, and I told him that I didn't see it and suggested an alternate card that I thought would be better. He ignored me and kept on hammering in the cards, like if he kept pestering me I'll accept them, and I got sick of it. I called him an elitist for it (because, in my experience, that's what elitist like to do with people that ask their advice and give reasons for not taking it; keep pestering them to take it until they do), and apparently he got so offended by it, he threatened to ban me from DFF for it. I haven't insulted anyone on DFF before then, and I had already came off of another argument over cards on that same thread, so I didn't need it, but he apparently felt his sensibilities was more important than just leaving well enough alone and accepting my reasons for not accepting his cards.

And now he's got people rallied up to lynch me from DFF, simply for him being offended. Honestly, had he just laid off when I put my foot down, this wouldn't have happened, but well...he's an elitist, and has to get the last word in. Honestly, it's getting to the point where I feel I have to lay down the rules for posting on my decks beforehand, or leave, because I'm getting sick of this crap. ::: Completely untrue. Why would I even bother asking for help with decks if I were an elitist who "looks down at people for thinking differently than me"? I respect everyone's suggestions and deliberate about them. The only reason why I'm such an ass to you guys is because you're such an ass to me, mainly disregarding regulations I've set for my decks and especially harassing me to implement your ideas long aver I told you no. Seriously, it's like you can't stand to NOT have the last word; if I say something doesn't work for me or a card you want me to get rid of works, I MEAN IT, and I expect the issue to be dropped then and there. YOU are the elitists, thinking your suggestions are rule of law and need to be followed without question, and anyone who doesn't agree with them is obviously a noob that needs to be put in their place. Honestly, I don't see why I have to apologize. Harpie Deck

Ok, so here is the second harpie deck, this one fully legal and tested. Works moderately well against all meta decks and a nice overall deck I suppose. I would not try this against a tier 1 but it is the best harpie build out of the 3 that i was testing from.

Hope you guys like it. Please test it out a few times before judging, it requires a little bit of insight on strategy to get it to work right. Xuhaofei110 (talkcontribs) 04:40, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

3 cards to drop

-Resk () 11:59, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

Then stick it up for the requester, as i'll be away a few days (Treeborn -> fishborg, summon diva, search gilman, Libraian, THEN fuse formula, draw 2, then go into arcanite to pop 2)
-Resk () 12:01, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

Since when has Formula Fused? Also, you should wait until your opponent's turn to Synchro Summon to add insult to injury (you can take advantage of a Synchro Summon on their side and respond to stuff like Dark Hole with Black Rose Dragon).BobaFett2 (talk)

I think he meant Synchro.

I don't see a point in Diamond Dude.BobaFett2 (talk)

You need to be able to discard Malicious or Dasher for Destiny Draw so Diamond Dude isn't a good way around it. Take out Diamond Dude, add Stratos.BobaFett2 (talk)

The deck was supposed to be destiny based, so I was trying to keep some, but yeah, Diamond was kinda pointless,
Done.

Deck Budget

It depends...since generation force hasnt been released yet, I don't know yet. Plus if you put in PoDs, I can just get them in the tin, You can put solemn warning in the deck, but also give me some alternatives for the expensive cards. Any other staples or anything I'm sure I have them. Tigerclaw123 (talkcontribs) 15:23, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Just Wondering

It's in alphabetical order not numerical order, 1 is before 2, so 11 is before 2. Kinda like regular alphabetical order, where AB is before B. There are a few ways to fix this; but it would be better if there was a fix for it from the template, or maybe a sortkey. Dinoguy knows more than me on using those, so maybe ask you should ask him about it. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 14:38, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

Archiving

You archived the Crystal Beast Deck about two hours after I posted it. I'd suggest putting it back as your removal was too quick.BobaFett2 (talk)

RE: Forum:Decks for Free Archive Numbers

Looking over the templates used, I'm not sure I'd be able to fix this without rewriting {{ArchiveList}} (maybe there's some feature of DPL that would allow the correct ordering, but I'm not very familiar with it at all and so can't say; Deltaneos may know something I don't in this case, though). Your other option would be to rename archives 1 through 9 to have leading zeroes (Archive1 --> Archive01, etc.). I'm replying on both of our talk pages so I can keep the whole discussion together; feel free to reply wherever since your talk page will be on my watchlist. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:43, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

It's because of "Archive" that you put up there is automatic coded to have first number (for explain, 1##), will always be group first, no matter how many number behind it like in the explain. So I think you should have to following TwoTailedFox and some old veterans who knew him well process, as they done their part very well (as of 0001, 0002) that could help the whole hell of number order correct. And if that kind of "archive" shit in Deck for Free is still glitch up, I think it's time to adapt it into the one that we are current using, as it's very flexible to organize up the number whatever we want. --FredCat 01:15, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
What I meant was if you put the single number (1, 2, 3, etc.) then it can glitch up with double (10, 20, 30, etc.); but if you put up the number like; 0001, 0002, 0003, etc. then it won't glitching if you continued down the number (till 0999), because they focus on first number from left (0###) as it can stay there for very long time. --FredCat 02:33, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
Just as long as it don't glitch up, then yes; three digits can do better. --FredCat 10:11, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
Could also just go 'archive A'
-Resk () 11:01, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
In that case, Freds idea of 0001 should be fine,
-Resk () 17:33, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
Did a trial with 1, before you mentioned that, and it worked fine, though left 1 as a redirect to it <,<

RE: Just Wonder

Do you meant my "locked" Talk Page? --FredCat 14:58, August 9, 2011 (UTC)

Er, if it's your Archived Talk Page, you can change it yourself. I done this before myself. The only place you can change is your own talk page, but if try go to other archived talk page, beside your, then you cannot edit it directly. In order to edit the archived talk page without your name, just visit the user's history and click "Previous" button. Then click "Edit" button above the whole crap of stuff. But that's not really important. So why not you try it yourself? --FredCat 15:15, August 9, 2011 (UTC)
I see the problem, it's because you have that bar "This article is Archived, do not edit this shit" part. That explain the reason why you cannot see the edit button. So lemme get to your Archive address and kick that bar out. --FredCat 15:21, August 9, 2011 (UTC)

I still want to be involved in this, so I'd like to know by what time I have to put my deck up. Also, is it alright to ask for advice from others, or get some help finding cards? For example, I KNOW there are cards that force monsters to battle, but I just CAN NOT remember any of them ><--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 02:25, September 1, 2011 (UTC)

Alright. I'm already thinking of my deck, though actually getting Mirage Knight out itself isn't the problem: keeping it on the field and getting Dark Flare Knight onto the field and destroyed via battle is the problem.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 02:43, September 1, 2011 (UTC)

Wow. That's an odd list of cards. I'd suggest allowing 2 people to do a card so that people don't get stuck with worse cards. Also, out of interest, did you count a card when Random Page came up with Gallery, Rulings, Errata etc. (like I would), or only when the actual card came up? Battlemaniac (talkcontribs) 19:34, September 15, 2011 (UTC)

Improving the DFF Galleries

I had a couple of ideas while browsing through the galleries that I feel would make it easier for requesters to find what they're looking for. Some of the decks seems to be placed under inappropriate letters. For example, "Bouncin' Waves V.Ace" is listed under B, while a user looking for that deck would most likely check under W for Water. Another example is "Billy Beast Tigers V.Resk" under B, while a user wanting a Tiger deck would naturally look under T.

My proposed solution is this: instead of naming the Galleries alphabetically, have only a few main Galleries: Monster, Archetype, Attribute/Type, and Theme. Monster galleries would include decks like "Armityle Summoning V.Ace" that are geared towards summoning or abusing a certain monster. In cases like Flying Fortress SKY FIRE, there could be a note like "See Also: Archetype Gallery - Reactor". Archetype decks would list any primary Archetypes included in the deck, including hybrids (this would result in double listings for some decks). Attribute/Type would include decks like Warrior Toolbox or the aforementioned WATER deck. Finally, theme decks would include most Billy Decks and decks like Twilight that are viable decks but not true Archetypes. (LS would include a note saying "See also: Theme Gallery - Twilight).

Overall I think this would make the galleries much more effective and reduce the number of repeated requests. I understand that it would be a lot of work to re-gallery all the decks, but I appreciate you taking the time to read and consider my idea. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 22:01, September 15, 2011 (UTC)

I took the first gallery (A-E) and did the Monster Gallery for it. Results are here. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 00:14, September 16, 2011 (UTC)
Alright, I'll continue compiling the monster gallery. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 01:23, September 16, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, let's just start with Monsters for now. When/If I get around to compiling the others I'll let you know. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 01:35, September 16, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure what you're suggesting, could you maybe make a sample on my talk page of what you mean? Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 03:32, September 17, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Ragia Freeze

I'd probably try Wind-Ups (the ones that go to level 5), Cyber Dragons, Instant Fusions, and Rabbits. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 19:43, September 18, 2011 (UTC)

Maybe... -2 Trag +1 Gorz (don't like Trag, even for Xyz, and Gorz wins games) -1 Instant Fusion (and 1 Cybersaurus) + 2 Duality, -1 Mind Crush (play it at 2 or 0) for 40 cards. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 21:29, September 18, 2011 (UTC)

I was looking at the "1 Pot of Duality" at the bottom of the Spell list, so I missed the "3 Pot of Duality". Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 22:00, September 18, 2011 (UTC)

If a letter is absent, there were no monsters that started with that letter, or if there were they got grouped together with another monster (like Thunder Unicorn/Voltic Bicorn/Lightning Tricorn). Relinquished is a little different than the other Ritual monsters, so it's harder to do the whole "take a Ritual deck sub a different monster" thing that you could do with others. Becoming a Deck Builder

Hi Ace,

Decks for free is one of my most favorite parts about this site and very inspirational as well as convenient for anyone who is very busy. I am in school and it eats up large chunks of my time as of right now, but I was wondering how one may become a deckbuilder. I am sure there are requirements of some sort, whether it be basic or complex. I don't have the time to build decks for people (assuming I would even be allowed to) at the moment. However when my life gets a good slow-down I would like to be ready (if possible) to be a deckbuilder. So, if I am allowed to apply in some way, what do I need to do in becoming a deckbuilder.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Re: Ice Barrier and Gallery

I have been excessively busy lately, so I haven't had time to work on the galleries. >.< User:Lappyzard/Archetype Gallery Skeleton. Yes, Theme would include Ritual, Banished Fish, any Billy Decks, Archetypes that aren't really archetypes like Poker Knights, etc. Basically, anything that doesn't fall into one of the other categories.

As for Ice Barrier: I'm not a big fan of Dance Princess aside from being a level 4, I only run 1. Multiples of Generals aside from Gantala are not necessary, as Gantala will just continuously recur them. Dai-sojo is really nice, you don't have to worry about Mirror Force, Torrential, or Dark Hole. Surface is a great card for the deck. Always run 2 Call of the Haunted before any Limit Reverse. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 20:18, October 2, 2011 (UTC)

Ice barrier

Yes, the current deck will be fine. Through this might be a selfish request.. But do you think you can create a new deck in case I cant get my hands on any Prior Of the ice barrier? Epytotorp (talkcontribs) 01:04, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

In that case, then the current deck will be fine, Thank you again for your help.Epytotorp (talkcontribs) 01:34, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not a big fan of the D Hero Draw Engine, as Mali is the only D Hero really worth it (don't like Diamond Dude, and he's the only other moderately good D Hero). The only Frog the deck needs is Swap Frog but if you want some Treeborns pre-Prior's release that'd be a good idea. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 01:48, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

DFF Test Deck

Dear Dark Ace Sp,

For my test, you requested a competitive Naturia. Here is what i have come up with.

The Deck is the most Competitve i could make it. The deck is A Naturia Plant Stun deck that focuses on disrupting and controlling my opponents every action. The deck also has a very high sychro ability using Cherries, Cliff, and Cosmobeet. Not much i can really explain about the deck though as it is pretty straight forward.

Also, do you want the actual links to the decks or just the sites. SquirtleHero (talkcontribs) 01:00, October 18, 2011 (UTC)

I'll see if i can find the actual links to the few i posted. For the most part though i used DuelingNetwork as my testing and questioning Engine. SquirtleHero (talkcontribs) 01:09, October 18, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Planning for WDC

Not sure. I'll get back to you if I have any ideas. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 02:49, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Themes

  • Chaos/Twilight
  • Billy
  • Ritual
  • Synchro (Generic)
  • Anti-Meta/Stun
  • Anti-Heal
  • Monarch
  • Beatdown
  • More as I think of them

Basically, anything that you wouldn't put into any of the other categories. Theme is the "Misc" section. If you want to know about a specific deck, just ask. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 04:30, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

Why are Monarch and Chaos/Twilight getting their own themes when they're already archetypes? BF2 Talk Deck Guides 12:16, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

Your Request

This is what I've came up with. I happen to be fairly familiar with ritual decks.

So, I thought I could tackle your deck the fastest, and it turns out that my first build works pretty well. Even though it hasn't always summoned Garlandolf, it has won without it, just with the traps protecting my Xyz Monsters and Synchros. Of course, I have Djinn to stop Special Summons along with Tour Guide to search it. Sangan also searches out cards like Manju. Effect Veiler is LIGHT and does it's normal job, as well as serving as a Tuner. I chose to add Chaos Sorc because it has come in handy in a pinch. You can easily control the # of DARKS, so I also chose to add DAD. Even though he may be risky, it's a great card. Maxx "C" is a tech for decks like Agents. They can either try to OTK which may be stopped by a Trap and giving you a +5 in the process, or give you a +0, and not do anything else that turn. The Extra Deck is pretty much staples. This is about as competitive as I could make it, as you asked. I hope this meets all of your expectations! :) Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 12:25, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Quishie Plants and Themes

  1. Why Call of the Haunted?
  2. Why no Monster Reborn?
  3. Why no Trap Dustshoot?
  4. Since Restrict is banned, then Metamorphosis will be fine.
  • Only if it does not use an Archetype for either WIND or DARK.
  • Yes
  • No, it'd be in Archetype Gallery under Destiny HEROes, and should probably be in Attribute Gallery under WATER.
  • Yes
  • Yes
  • No if it contains a majority of other Archetypes, otherwise Yes/Yes

  • No, it'd be in Type Gallery under Spellcasters.

Re: Phantom Beasts

I define PBs as an Archetype, they have one actual support card. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 21:01, October 26, 2011 (UTC)

60 card morphtronic deck response

I don't have a real computer anymore. And I did leave my user name, its Ancient Gear King like I said on decks for free but thank you for notifying me.

Could you go on Dueling Network for a bit? Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 22:38, October 28, 2011 (UTC)

Garlandolf - 2nd Attempt

So, you've seen most of this build. The only changes I've made are adding the Dualities, and dropping both Ritual cards to 2, since there were several times that those were the only cards I drew into. MST at 2 or 3 is up to. I've just been using 2, because there is 2 Lightning, making 3 seem somewhat redundant. Most decks run only 4 generic S/T removal spells anyways (3 MST and Heavy). I hope this works better for you! :D Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 23:32, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Weird Pics

Cuz I deleted them just before you mentioned them :D -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 23:12, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Two Things

One: Inzecters are way too powerful.

Two: how about ZEXAL archetype decks: Wind-Up, Generation Fish, Crashbug, Photon, Evol, Armored Ninja, and Inzectser for WDC. Gagaga and Gogogo are too small. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 12:58, October 31, 2011 (UTC)

Assault Mode's fine, although Stardust is definitely the best. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 16:36, November 1, 2011 (UTC)

I thought it was going to be ZEXAL archetypes, but sure. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 00:31, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you, I appreciate the oppurtunity to be a Deckbuilder. ^_^ Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 23:15, November 1, 2011 (UTC)

WDC

I won't be able to participate much as my DN access is rather limited at the moment, unfortunately. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 00:59, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I've always wanted to but never had the excuse... BF2 Talk Deck Guides 13:00, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

RE: WDC23

  • Thanks for the heads up. It looks fun, but unfortunately, I have an essay due next week as well as a test to study for, among juggling social commitments, so my priority goes to that, of course. I'll participate in another when I have more time.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 01:15, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Old Account Deletion?

Not possible, see this. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:46, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

Yea, do what that link gave and you're all good. --FredCat 03:17, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
