Rafael's Turn
- Activates Guardian Treasure discarding his hand to the graveyard and drawing two cards and as long as it remains face up he can draw two cards during his draw phase instead of one.

Yugi's Turn
- Activates Polymerization sending Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts and Berfomet to the graveyard to fusion summon Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast (2100/1800) in attack position.
- Attacks Rafael's face down monster with Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast.
- The face down monster is Backup Gardna (500/2200) and since its DEF is higher than Chimera's ATK the difference is deducted from Yugi's life points (Yugi 3900).
Rafael's Turn
- Activates Gravity Axe - Grarl increasing Backup Gardna's ATK by 500. (ATK 1000).
- Since its the last card in his hand and Gravity Axe - Grarl is on the field Rafael can special summon Guardian Grarl (2500/1000) in attack position.
- Activates Backup Gardna's effect unequipping Gravity Axe from it and equiping it to Guardian Grarl increasing its ATK by 500. Backup Gardna (ATK 500) Guardian Grarl (ATK 3000).
- Destroys Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast with Guardian Grarl (Yugi 3000).
- Since Chimera was destroyed its effect activates allowing Yugi to special summon one of the two monsters used to summon Chimera special summons Berfomet (1400/1800) in attack position.

- Activates Five Star Twilight tributing Berfomet since its a five star monster to special summon The five Kuriboh brothers (ATK 300) each.
- Sends the five Kuriboh brothers to the graveyard to special summon Kuribabylon whose ATK is equal to the combined ATK of each Kuriboh sent to the graveyard to summon it (1500/0) in attack position.
- Activates Pump Up doubling Kuribabylon's ATK till the end phase of this turn (ATK 3000).
- Attacks Guardian Grarl with Kuribabylon.
- Rafael activates the effect of Rescuer from the Grave removing any five cards from his graveyard to negate the attack and end the battle phase.
- Kuribabylon's effect activates sending it to the graveyard and special summoning the five Kuriboh brothers (300 ATK) each.
Rafael's Turn
- Sets two cards.
- Activates Purity of the Cemetery so since Rafael has no monsters in his graveyard he can activate this card reducing Yugi's life points by 100 for each monster in Yugi's graveyard during Yugi's standby phase and if a monster goes to Rafael's graveyard Purity of the Cemetery is destoyed.
- Attacks one of the Kuribohs with Guardian Grarl.
- Since all five Kuriboh brothers are on the field Yugi can negate one of Rafael's attacks.

- Purity of the Cemetery's effect reduces Yami's life points by 300 since he has three monsters in his graveyard (Yugi 2700).
- Activates Pot of Greed drawing two cards from his deck.
- Sends the five Kuriboh brothers to the graveyard to special summon Kuribabylon whose ATK is equal to the combined ATK of each Kuriboh sent to the graveyard to summon it (1500/0) in attack position.
- Tributes Kuribabylon to summon Dark Magician Girl (2000/1700) in attack position.
- Sends The Eye of Timaeus and Dark Magician Girl to the graveyard to fusion summon Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight (2600/1700).

- Purity of the Cemetery's effect activates reducing Yugi's life points by 500 since Yugi has five monsters in his graveyard (Yugi 2200).
- Attacks Guardian Grarl with Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight activating its effect destroying Grarl by discarding one card and skipping the damage step.
- Rafael activates Crystal Seal so as long as it remains face up on the field Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight cannot attack, be tributed, or be attacked and if it is the only monster on Yugi's side of the field he can attack Yugi directly but if Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight's ATK goes over 3000 Crystal Seal is destroyed.

- Activates Rod of Silence - Kay'est increasing Backup Gardna's DEF by 500 (DEF 2700).
- Since Rod of Silence - Kay'est is on the field Rafael is allowed to summon Guardian Kay'est (1000/1800) in attack position.
- Destroys Yugi's face down Big Shield Gardna with Guardian Grarl.
- Attacks Yugi directly with Guardian Kay'est (Yami 1200).
Yugi's Turn
- Purity of the Cemetery's effect reduces Yugi's life points by 600 since he has 6 monsters in his graveyard (Yugi 600).
- Activates Card of Sanctity so both players draw until they are holding six cards in their hands.(Note in the real game Card of Sanctity removes all cards in the players hand and field from play then allows them to draw two cards from their deck).
- Activates The Seal of Orichalcos increasing the ATK of all of his monster by 500 and from now on the are treated as Dark Attribute monsters as well as their original attributes plus Yugi can summon monsters in the spell/trap zone. And The Seal cannot be destroyed by the effects of Spell, Trap, or monster effects.
- Since Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight's ATK is over 3000 now Crystal Seal is destroyed
- Since The Seal of Orichalcos is on the same side of the field as a card that was summoned by The Eye of Timaeus Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight is destroyed and Dark Magician Girl (2000/1700) is special summoned in attack position.
- Activates Hand Control so Yugi declares the name of a card and if the selected card is in Rafael's hand, Yugi can force Rafael to activate it. Yugi guesses Necromancy so Rafel must activate it special summoning four random monsters to Yami's side of the field: Big Shield Gardna (100/2600), Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts (1500/1200), Berfomet (1400/1800), and Kuribabylon (?/?) all in defense position.

- Rafael Activates Limit Tribute so both players can only tribute one monster per turn.
Rafael's Turn
- Activates Nightmare Binding decreasing Kuribabylon's ATK by 800 (ATK 3700) plus from now on it cannot attack, change its battle position, and it cannot be tributeted also it increases Rafael's life points by 800 (Rafael 2300).
Yugi's Turn
- Activates Catapult Turtle's effect tributing Dark Magician to inlfict half of its ATK to Rafael's life points (Rafael 800).
- Dark Magician Girl's ATK increases by 300 (ATK 2800) since Dark Magician is in the graveyard.
Rafael's Turn
- Sets a card.
Yugi's Turn
- Activates Catapult Turtle's effect tributing Dark Magician Girl to inlfict half of its ATK to Rafael's life points.
- Rafael activates Shrink reducing Dark Magician Girl's ATK by half (ATK 1400).
- Catapult Turtle's effect continues (Rafael 100).
Rafael's Turn
- Activates Celestial Sword - Eatos increasing Backup Gardna's ATK by 300 (ATK 800).
- Special summons Guardian Eatos (2500/2000) since he has no monsters in his graveyard and Celestial Sword - Eatos is in play.
- Activates Eatos' effect removing Dark Magician Girl, Dark Magician, Big Shield Gardna, Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts, and Berfomet from play to increase Guardian Eatos' ATK by their combined ATK (ATK 10000).
- Destroys Kuribabylon with Guardian Eatos (In the real duel, Raphael would have only destroyed Kuribabylon since he can only destroy one monster at a time and since Catapult Turtle is behind Kuribabylon) (Yugi 0).
- Yami's soul would have benn taken but Yugi switches places with him relinquishing his own soul but saving Yami's soul.
