Resentful opponents
- Both Weevil and Rex claim that they're doing this because of the shame and humiliation they had to go through after they were kicked out of the Duelist Kingdom tournament. But, then again, they did play dirty, since Weevil would demand a Rare Card in exchange for a simple autograph.
- Their opponents are not moved at all by their tales and keep on Dueling.

Rex Raptor's Turn
- Rex draws Spell Card "Polymerization" and subsequently Activates it, fusing "Kaitoptera" and his first "Gilasaurus" to Fusion Summon "Horned Saurus" (2000 → 2500 ATK / 1000 DEF) in Attack Position.
- Rex Summons "Giant Rex" (2000 → 2500 ATK / 1200 DEF) in Attack Position. (Since Joey has a Monster in Play, Giant Rex is able to attack.)
- "Horned Saurus" attacks Joey directly via its own effect (Joey 4000 → 1500 Life Points) as it can attack Joey directly on the turn it is Fusion Summoned.
- "Giant Rex" Attacks & Destroys Joey's "Panther Warrior" (Joey 1500 → 1000 Life Points).
- "Gilasaurus" attacks Joey directly, but Joey activates Quick-Play Spell Card "Scapegoat", Special Summoning 4 "Sheep Tokens" (0 ATK / 0 DEF) in Defense Position.
- A replay occurs and "Gilasaurus" attacks and destroys Joey's first "Sheep Token".

Rex Raptor's Turn
- Rex draws.
- "Horned Saurus" attacks Joey's "Rocket Warrior", but Joey activates Trap Card "Magic Arm Shield" to take control of Rex's "Gilasaurus" and makes it "Horned Saurus's" new Attack target, however Rex activates Counter Trap Card "Jurassic Heart", negating "Magic Arm Shield's" Effect and destroying it. The attack continues, destroying Joey's "Rocket Warrior".
- "Giant Rex" Attacks and Destroys Joey's second "Sheep Token".
- "Gilasaurus" Attacks and Destroys Joey's third "Sheep Token".

- Joey draws "Red-Eyes B. Dragon".
- Activates Spell Card "Star Blaster", targeting his last "Sheep Token" and rolling a die. The die result will be added to the Level of the Sheep Token and after that happens Joey can Tribute his Sheep Token to summon a monster from his hand whose Level is the same as the Sheep Token's. The die result is a 6, so Joey increases the Level of the Sheep Token by 6 ("Sheep Token": Level 1 → 7), making it a Level 7 monster. Joey then Tributes the Sheep Token to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" (2400 ATK / 2000 DEF) in Attack Position.
- Activates Trap Card "Metalmorph", Equipping it to "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and increasing its ATK and DEF by 300 ("Red-Eyes Black Dragon": 2400 → 2700 ATK / 2000 → 2300 DEF). Now when "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" attacks an opponent's monster, it will gain ATK equal to half the ATK of the attack target during Damage Calculation only.
- "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" attacks Rex's "Horned Saurus". "Metalmorph's" Effect activates during damage calculation ("Red-Eyes Black Dragon": 2700 → 3950 ATK / 2300 DEF). "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" Destroys "Horned Saurus" (Rex Raptor 4000 → 2550 Life Points). After Damage Calculation, the ATK of "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" goes back to normal ("Red-Eyes B. Dragon": 3950 → 2700 / 2300 DEF).

Yami Yugi's Turn
- Yami Yugi draws.
- 1 Turn has passed since "Parasite Caterpillar's" activation on Yami's "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian" (2 Turns remaining).
- Activates Spell Card "Polymerization", fusing "Curse of Dragon" with "Gaia the Fierce Knight" to Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion" (2600 ATK / 2100 DEF) in Attack Position.
- "Gaia the Dragon Champion" Attacks Weevil's "Leghul", but Weevil activates Continuous Trap Card "DNA Surgery" and declares Insect for its effect. Now as long as this card is face-up, all Monsters on the Field become the declared type. Because of this and Weevil's "Insect Barrier", "Gaia the Dragon Champion" cannot Attack.
Weevil Underwood's Turn
- Weevil draws Spell Card "Cell Division" and subsequently Activates it, targeting "Leghul" and Special Summoning a "Cell Division Token" with the same stats as "Leghul" (300 → 800 ATK / 350 DEF) in Attack Position.
- Tributes "Pheromone Wasp" and "Cell Division Token" to Summon "Insect Queen" (2200 → 2700 ATK / 2400 DEF) in Attack Position. Due the effect of "Insect Queen", it gains 200 ATK for each Insect-Type Monster on the Field. There are 4, so "Insect Queen" gains 800 ATK ("Insect Queen": 2700 → 3500 ATK / 2400 DEF).
- "Leghul" attacks Yami Yugi Directly via its own effect (Yami 2700 → 1900 Life Points).
- Tributes "Leghul" ("Insect Queen": 3500 → 3300 ATK / 2400 DEF) to allow "Insect Queen" to Attack.
- "Insect Queen" attacks and destroys Yami's "Gaia the Dragon Champion" (Yami 1900 → 1200 Life Points) ("Insect Queen": 3300 → 3100 ATK / 2400 DEF).
