Mieru Normal Summons Prediction Princess Astromorrigan (DY) and Flip Summons Prediction Princess Coinorma (DY). Mieru Normal Summons "Prediction Princess Astromorrigan" (1300/0). Mieru Flip Summons "Prediction Princess Coinorma" (800/1400). "Tarotrei" attacks and destroys Yuya's Set "Beast-Eyes". "Astromorrigan" and "Coinorma" attack Yuya directly (Yuya: 4000 → 2700 → 1900 LP).

<u>Turn 4: Yuya</u><br/>
Yuya Pendulum Summons "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" from his Extra Deck and Acrobat Magician (DY) from his hand. He activates a second "Polymerization", fusing "Odd-Eyes" and "Acrobat Magician" to Fusion Summon Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (DY). Mieru attempts to activate the effect of "Tarotrei", changing "Rune-Eyes" to face-down Defense Position; however, the effect of "Ability Yell" has unlocked the special effects of "Rune-Eyes" as well. Since "Rune-Eyes" was Fusion Summoned by using Pendulum Summoned monsters as materials, it is unaffected by Mieru's effects this turn. Furthermore, since "Acrobat Magician" is a Level 5 monster, "Rune-Eyes" can attack monsters three times per Battle Phase. Yuya attacks and destroys "Coinorma", "Astromorrigan" and "Tarotrei" with "Rune-Eyes" (Mieru 4000 → 1800 → 100 → 0).
+
Yuya Pendulum Summons the Level 7 "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (2500/2000) from his Extra Deck and Level 5 "Acrobatic Magician" (800/2300) from his hand. Yuya activates the Spell Card "Polymerization", fusing "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and the Spellcaster-Type "Acrobatic Magician" to Fusion Summon "Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (3000/2000) in Attack Position. Mieru activates the effect of "Tarotrei" and attempts to change "Rune-Eyes" to face-down Defense Position, but as the effect of "Ability Yell" is still applying, the effect of "Rune-Eyes" prevents it from being affected by Mieru's card effects this turn as it was Fusion Summoned using Pendulum Summoned monsters as materials. As a Level 5 or higher monster was used as its Fusion Material other than "Odd-Eyes", the effect of "Rune-Eyes" allows it to attack three times during each Battle Phase. "Rune-Eyes" attacks and destroys "Coinorma", "Astromorrigan" and "Tarotrei" (Mieru: 4000 → 1800 → 100 → 0 LP).

Summary[edit]

Yuya Duels a young fortuneteller for his next match of the tournament.

Featured Duel: Yuya Sakaki vs Mieru Hochun[edit]

Note: This Duel uses a special gameplay in order to make it simpler for the children, which makes the Monster Cards have no effects whatsoever.

At the start of the Duel, the Field Spell Card "Fortuneterror" is activated, as per the rules of an Action Duel. It will allow the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time.

Turn 1: Mieru
Mieru activates the Ritual Spell Card "Prediction Ritual", Ritual Summoning "Prediction Princess Tarotrei". She Tributes the Level 5 "Prediction Princess Crystaldine" and Level 4 "Prediction Princess Arrowsylph" from her hand to Ritual Summon the Level 9 "Prediction Princess Tarotrei" (2700/1200) in Attack Position. Mieru Sets a monster.

Turn 2: Yuya
Yuya activates "Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn" (Left Pendulum Scale.png 8) and "Performapal Odd-Eyes Light Phoenix" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 3) in his Pendulum Zones. Yuya Pendulum Summons the Level 4 "Performapal Longphone Bull" (1600/1200) and Level 7 "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (2500/2000), both from his hand in Attack Position. Yuya activates the Spell Card "Polymerization", Fusion Summoning a monster. He fuses the Beast-Type "Longphone Bull" and the DARK Dragon-Type "Odd-Eyes" to Fusion Summon "Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (3000/2000) in Attack Position. "Beast-Eyes" attacks "Tarotrei", but Mieru picks up and activates the Action Spell Card "Ability Yell", granting effects to both player's monsters. Mieru activates the effect of "Tarotrei", changing a monster to face-down Defense Position. She chooses "Beast-Eyes".

Turn 3: Mieru
Mieru Normal Summons "Prediction Princess Astromorrigan" (1300/0). Mieru Flip Summons "Prediction Princess Coinorma" (800/1400). "Tarotrei" attacks and destroys Yuya's Set "Beast-Eyes". "Astromorrigan" and "Coinorma" attack Yuya directly (Yuya: 4000 → 2700 → 1900 LP).

Turn 4: Yuya
