Summary

Using the Magus of Illusion's Magic Blast, Diabound terrorizes the city. Slifer then swoops down to take the blasts, protecting the citizens. With Slifer unable to move without jeopardizing the people below, Diabound starts to build up an energy ball for its spiral wave attack. However Slifer launches a Lightning Strike at the ground, propelling itself into the air, where it rapidly launches a second Lightning Strike, smashing Diabound’s energy ball.

Fearing the safety of the citizens, the Pharaoh orders Slifer to take the battle to the sky. Slifer seizes Diabound's wrist with its tail and drags Diabound into the sky. Whilst in the air Diabound is unable to phase through walls, while Slifer’s Divine Lightning is even stronger. The Pharaoh orders Slifer to attack Diabound. The God launches a Thunder Force attack, but Bakura reveals another of Diabound’s abilities; Diabound is able to blend in with its surroundings. In this it becomes one with the darkness.
