For the criticism. Now that I think about it, those little bits I did were not neccesary. But I will say that I HAVE been trying to include LESS cards in my tips. As for WHY I included that tip about "Red-Eyes Fang with Chain", I was trying to think of a way to counter BBDDS. "First of the Dragons" and "Battle Fusion" are one way for Dragon Decks to do so, and I thought this would be another way to get the upper hand. So I am working on the tips. Side Effects

I know I was kinda late to talk about this, but there is a reason why I said "Side Effects?" would be good in a Virus/Mill Deck. I have a Deck like this, and I have managed to pull this off several times. In the span of 1 to 3 turns, I've been able to activate multiple Viruses, crippling the opponent's hand and field. Here's where the tip I made comes in.

I knew the whole time that your opponent chose the number of cards to draw, so I would use at least one Virus first to get inside their head. See, if they chose to draw only one card, I'd only gain 2000 LP, but they'd be lucky if they drew a card that would turn the Duel in their favor. If they drew two or three, they'd have a higher chance of drawing that lifesaving card, but they'd lose more of their Deck and I would gain a large amount LP.

THAT is why I added that Virus/Mill(I'm just gonna call it "Bubonic" at this point) Deck tip. A strategy like that would allow you to toy with your opponent's mind and likely throw them off their game. You'd be more likely to do so if you used cards like "Hand Destruction" and "Disruption Strategy". Having to draw and lose the cards in your hand so many times while the Viruses are still in effect would prove to be unnerving. Coincidences

The stuff about Needle Wall and Ceiling did not nessecarily mean that they were related. I was trying to say that it is just coincidental. Red-Eyes Retro Dragon likely was not based on Overwatch character Tracer. That was a coincidence. I know that the edit might have been big, but the page needed an editing, as there were missing attacks and effects, and it was impossible with such a pain in the rear link to the table. Banned Cards

Uhh, sorry about the Chaos Emperor Dragon thing. See, I saw a video on banned cards earlier, and the guy on it stated that it and the cards involved in the "Yata-Garasu Lockdown" were the first cards to be banned, and inspired the idea for the Forbidden list. It kinda made sense to me, given the nature of CEDEE's effect, and its role in the lockdown. It's very simple actually, I found out that when a card is being reprinted in a new set, the database always updates the lore of those reprints the day before said set is released. Protect My Page

This may sound like an almost absurd request, but would you mind protecting one of my pages so that only admins can edit it (until I ask you to remove the protection)? I ask because it relates to a story I'm in the process of writing, and I've committed myself to not continually claim that I'll follow whichever Forbidden/Limited Lists are going to be posted in the near future. Dueltaining HEROs

I'm not sure why you removed those Dueltaining Tips involving the HEROs. There are several HERO cards that enable multiple attacks in a turn. Wildedge, Ice Edge, Malicious Fiend, Infernal Gainer, Neos Knight, Assault Armor(Yes, I know it's not exclusively meant for HEROs), Hero Heart, etc.

Plus, Malicious Fiend forces your opponent's Monsters to attack, so you can expect to meet the 2nd condition of Dueltaining preeeeeeeeety often. So exactly WHY did you get rid of those HERO tips? Wait. I compared the previous few revisions on the tip page. I never said Goddess Bow lets you attack more than twice. I meant that it lets your Monster possibly attack twice. And I didn't say anything about "second and third attack effects". I just said that the HEROs that I mentioned are capable of attacking(Or in Infernal Gainer's case, allows multiple attacks) multiple times.

Plus, I didn't think Dueltaining would be very hard to use. I still don't. It can be exploited in Chain Burn, Gambling(Die Roll and Coin Toss), Paleozoic, Aggro/Beatdown, LP-related Decks(Like Last Turn, Reversal Quiz OTK, etc), Dragon, Machine, and Swarm Decks. V Rulers

I know it's weird to ask about this Monster, but I have an inquiry about Victory Dragon. In a Dragon Ruler Deck, this card would be very easy to summon(Adult Rulers). Now what I'm asking about is its capabilities. I've noticed myself that Dragon Ruler Decks revolve around a combination of Swarming and Beatdown tactics, so the attacks from your other Monsters would soften up your opponent, enough so that the direct attack from Victory Dragon would fulfill its win condition(Yes, I am aware of the surrendering scandal involving this card).

What I'm asking you is what do you think would be in such a Deck? I can imagine at most 3 copies of "Hardened Armed Dragon" and "Inferno Reckless", and probably "The Fang of Critias" and "Tyrant Wing, the intent being to use "Tyrant Burst Dragon" on "Victory Dragon". Perhaps the cards in the Mythic-Dark Matter combo would be in the Deck too. Are there other, if not better cards that you can think of for a V Ruler Deck? Yes, that's the name I thought of. V Ruler. Mad Dog

I watched Yugioh GX Episode 65. As it turns out, the main antagonist of the episode, Mad Dog, used a Virus/Slime Deck. However, he also uses two Spell cards that force the opponent to draw: Card Destruction and Contingency Fee. He used both cards while his Last Machine Acid Virus was still active, destroying many of Zane Truesdale's cards.

I have mentioned the concept myself, but this more or less implies that Mad Dog's Deck is a Virus/Draw Mill Deck. Why am I telling you this? Because, ironically, I didn't watch that episode until AFTER making my own Virus Mill deck. Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon

Hey, UK. I've recently heard about Light's Revenge, and how Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon is cheaper now. It's no secret that Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon is a very powerful Monster, being able to negate the effect of and destroy a Monster once during either player's turn. It also gains the ATK of a Level 5 or higher Monster that it is battling.

Now, both of these effects make it a good candidate for Last Turn, but Mirror Force Dragon is a better choice for that card. And both of these effects make it terrifying to use against people running Kozmo decks. Plus, it can take down El Shadoll Construct by negating her autokill effect after attacking her.

Even then, Crystal Wing's battle-related effect make it a major threat against decks such as Qli(So long, Apoqliphort Towers!), Monarch, Unstoppable Obelisk, and Tyrant Neptune OTK. Maybe Kaijus, too. I'm talking to you about this because those are the only decks I can think of that this card is a major threat to. Can you list any other decks that this card endangers? "Normal" in a monster's Types

I am starting to see "Normal" listed in a monster's Types row (e.g. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blue-Eyes_White_Dragon ). Why is this necessary? Isn't it supposed to show only what's displayed on the card? And only some normal monsters have that change, some others (like http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Luster_Dragon ) don't. This is a new change with Starter Deck: Link Strike. Others will get it as they are reprinted. We know Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes White Dragon have this change coming too. The Rescue Squad

UK, I'd like to give my two cents about the Rescue Squad, after seeing EERR(Emerging Emergency Rescute Rescue) and Rescue Ferret. It'd be sort of hard to make an entire Deck dedicated on the Rescue Squad.

Rescue Rabbit received notoriety due to its involvement in the Dino Rabbit Deck, and it's very flexible overall. Rescue Cat had 5 Decks based on it(See Synchro Cat). Rescue Hamster works well with Pendulum Decks, and Rescue Ferret's talents have yet to be seen.

If you ask me, the Rescue Squad should grow from this. Not just Level 3 and 4 Beasts. Monsters with different Types should be introduced. Maybe include "Rescue" Xyz and Link Monsters? And instead of only supporting new Summoning Mechanics, they should also support certain Deck types.

Rescue Komodo/Dragon(For Dragon Decks) Rescue Dolphin/Fish(For Decks revolving around Superancient Deepsea King Ceolocanth) Rescue Rex/Dinosaur(For Tyranno Infinity Decks) Rescue Possum/Zombie(For Zombie Decks) Rescue Goat/Fiend(For Fiend Decks)

hey, how you've been doing I've been playing mostly duel links and now I'm on duelingbook I took a year break from managing scripted duels and now I'm back and dang a lot has happened to it since then. Do you know what piece plays when Pegasus summons Dante? Starting at 4:56. It's all one piece but I can't figure out what the name of it is as a whole. I feel like it would be from Millennium Battle but I can't find a specific segment from there that fits in. Starting from 5:18 starts to sound like Summon the Dragon. 5:28 starts to add in an electric guitar and 5:40 adds a rising techno beat that sounds like it might be from Duel Madness or Noah's Theme but they aren't. Outdated Tips/cleanup

Hi, could you please check the latest edit log of Telekinetic Power Well tips page? Am I right to consider the tips of being historically applicable to TCG/OCG? I considered those tips I removed outdated or requiring too specific set-ups, could you please decide who is right about that? Also, that user Feeder or something is chasing for tips I removed because he thinks it is worthy to state the obvious usage of such generic card like Dark Hole. Based on what you said when cleaning up the tips pages of That Grass Looks Greener and MST, I removed all those generical tips, considering how generic Dark Hole is. Could you help with this as well? That user wants to provoke me into an edit war, but I dont want this.

Well GustaphMax, you insist on saying that you're right and I'm wrong, you say that I want to provoke an edit war about this (which is false), even when long time ago some people (including admins) said you that you stopped making clean ups on pages, because that gives actually more work to editors than it prevents. Because you don't only remove "generical tips", you remove everything that you please to most of the time with poor reasons or even without giving any reason (and I have multiple prove of that). You chose to ignore that and insisted on continuing to make massive clean ups at your will. So yes, I'm going to revise as many pages as I can that you razed and deleted and restore everything that shouldn't have been removed (and so they can then be revised more carefully). Card trivia: Phantom Dewan, Gate Deeg and Minomushi Warrior

Well, i think you already have seen that a while ago i made the Card Trivia page of Phantom Dewan and Gate Deeg translating their weird words. Deeg would be the Dutch word for pasta and Dewan for hall. If i'm not wrong, eithe Snorlax monster or Deltanos deleted them, because i used google translator and they said to don't be a reliable word source. Well, i accepted that, and also, by what i got, they deleted them because the words had no relationship seen with the said monsters, but i saw this page http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Trivia:Minomushi_Warrior. First of all, you must learn how to use a Talk Page. You posted a question on the User talk:TwoTailedFox about Sleeper being Forbidden, but now you are posting a reply here, and without a header... Now, answering your questions: no. That forum is to explain why cards as truly forbidden/limited, not about reasons why a card should be forbidden/limited. Sleeper is banned? Maybe that's because Drone and Quik Fix are officially limited by Konami, Sleeper are not. http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/index.html. While Sleeper is unlimited, the status on its page must remain unlimited and it must not be included on that forum, or this may confuse the players. Duel Dragon Translations

There is a Japanese wordplay in the manga!Stardusts, which is taking the kanji for Flash (閃光, senkou) and using 珖 in place of the one for "light", and the citation was meant to show how that particular kanji desn't seem to translate to anything other than the unit of measure for gold pureness. Plus I also meant to at least make them consistent since all three used different "attempts" of localizing the kanji (Jade, Light, Jewel).

I admit I consider myself decently good at discerning Japanese at this point, but the very reason I link to Jisho is to show I'm using at least a source, and I am ready to be proven inaccurate by someone else who is also proficient, but pardon me if I request something more than "I feel you might be missing something" as a reason to make me realize I'm wrong with my contributions. I was watching again the first episode form yugioh and at 2:48 in Solomon's store there was a poster in the wall with a character bearing a very strong resemblance with Jill Valentine. Fork from Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki

Hey, I am User:GoldenDragonRider from Fandom, and I am having trouble porting my account. When I go to log in with my Fandom Information I get an error saying. "Auto-creation of a local account failed: An account creation for this user name is already in progress. Please wait." I did try and create a new account before I released that I didn't need to, although obviously I couldn't as my username was already registered, so I dunno why I can't enter if that account creation failed. We are currently experiencing some issues with the account imports. If you're getting that message, that means your account is already in the process of being imported. This will take a while (less than 24, still). You can check Special:Log/newusers to see if the account has been successfully imported.

Once your account is there, try to log in. If it says the password you're using is incorrect, request a new one by e-mail. You'll be sent an e-mail containing a new password (note that the e-mail might end up in the spam/junk folder). Then, use that password and you're in! You can then change your password on Special:Preferences.

MediaWiki?

I don't know if this is something you'd be able to answer; but do you know if Yugipedia uses something called MediaWiki? I can't remember if I told you this much, but I plan on making a wiki dedicated to my upcoming fan fiction, once I get a new desktop computer. I was originally going to go with the flow and make it on Wikia/FANDOM (a.k.a. where our "old" wiki once was), because it would be both cheap and easy. But when I solved an editing problem on this Wiki because I forgot to switch to "desktop mode", I've noticed something called "MediaWiki" in my settings. Thus, I immediately thought: "Maybe this is my ticket to getting what I need..."

But anyway, I may have already told you about me making a "CardTable" template for my wiki, that might be very similar to the one reserved for anime-exclusive cards, in which I took inspiration from XBrain's crack at it. I'm actually close to finished with it; all I need are the backgrounds for the anime cards. By that, I mean the colors that are different from the color of the header where the name's displayed (hopefully this should show you what I mean). If you could please give me the Hex codes for those colors, I would truly appreciate it. And for your convenience, I won't need "special codes" for the gradients; I think I should be able to figure that out on my own.

The latter would be a retrain of the former, it shares the same ATK/DEF/Type/Attribute, of course have extremely similar designs and both were originally TCG exclusive cards. Wikia to FANDOM

In case you haven't heard the news, Wikia recently announced that they were changing their URLs from (wikiname).wikia.com to (wikiname).fandom.com. Example: https://kimpossible.fandom.com/wiki/Kim_Possible

This announcement would be applied for all known wikis powered by Wikia/FANDOM, and the changes to all of them would be applied as early as late 2018 through early 2019. As a result, it would only be appropriate that there be some kind of way to link to those wikis with the new URLs, should there be any YGO archetypes that would require their wiki articles to link to Wikia/FANDOM wikis. The previous way to do it was, for example:

You recently updated an edit I made to Yugipedia's Damage Step page without adding a proper citation to justify the edit.

Under "Activating Cards & Effects During the Battle Phase", three of the citations listed in the explantion of using Quick-Effects during the Battle Phase were issued by Konami before the introduction of PSCT in 2012. The fourth citation you used to justify activating Quick-Effects of monsters to negate card effects is from The Perfect Rulebook 2017.

I am not sure if The Perfect Rulebook 2017 is an offical source. I understand it is published by Shuiesha in Japan, which publishes VJUMP. Regardless of whether or not Shuiesha is an valid source, The Perfect Rulebook has not been printed in the TCG. (This is especially important, as there are a few differences between rulings in the OCG & TCG.)

Looking at both the offical TCG Rulebook on the Offical Yug-Gi-Oh! website, as well as a helpful page on the that includes a chart to help players understand what things can happen and when things can happen during the Damage Step, there is no mention of being able to activate monster effects that can negate card effects duting the damage step.

Could you please cite an official TCG ruling if you still feel the edit you made is appropriate? I do feel it is appropriate for you to "Undo" that edit if you can't provide a source.

Sorry about the annoying little edits! It took me hours to notice the "Preview" feature. Thank you for recommending the Sandbox feature to me! I'm not familiar with it; I'll make sure it is the next tool I learn to use.

This particular ruling stood out to me because I have seen judges both rule for and against "activating monster effects that negate during the Damage step". The ones who rule for it say, "because so," while the ones who rule against it say, and I paraphrase, "because it isn't listed in valid actions in the TCG Rulebook".

I understand what you mean about the TCG side of the game covering less ground than the OCG side of the game. I have heard how frustrating getting answers from Konami can be. It helps that YGOrg translates Konami rulings. Maybe official Konami references to "negating monster effects during the Start of the Damage Step" can be found in one YGOrg's pages. (I know YGOrg isn't an official source, but I believe a page featuring translations would be a fair source.)

I'll definitely try to get a source on it because it is one or those things that I've seen players argue over. With this image, I believe it is "Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon". The lore is "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" being turn into "Megafleet Dragon". RE: Rapid Seed Fire

The biggest problem with your arguments are that you seem to think the rules of the game do not apply to the show. While it is true that in some cases they have broken the rules with certain cards it's more of an outlier when that happens. Rather than assuming this to be yet another outlier I would highly recommend considering the following.

Firstly, when Yuri activates rapid seed fire he says by sending Cordyceps to the graveyard he can inflict 300 damage to Yusho. While this does clearly indicate a cost is payed, which is true. This in no way implies that it must be the cost of the card's activation. Rapid seed fire only has a single effect that requires a cost to be payed so for that to be indicated specifically wouldn't make sense.

Secondly, unless the show makes it specifically clear that a rule exception has occured. I.e. there is no better explanation for what happened then I could accept that. However, the rules of the game and common sense both make it very difficult to accept that rapid seed fire is a one-time single-use burn effect. Please note that I am not saying that they don't make useless card effects for the show, but rather that in this case it is also inconsistent with normal game rules and there is insufficient evidence to prove that the card worked in the way that you assert.
