Awakening of Evil - Part 3, known as Summon the Winged God Dragon of Ra in the Japanese version, is the eighty-eighth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! second series anime.

"Mystical Beast Serket" attacks then destroys "The Legendary Fisherman"; gaining ATK equal to half of its ATK ("Mystical Beast Serket": 4900 → 5825 ATK). Odion tries to attack Joey, but Marik tells him to Summon "The Winged Dragon of Ra" instead. (NOTE: Technically Odion should have won the Duel at this point because Mystical Beast Serket has 5825 ATK and Joey has 200 Life Points left when Odion declared an attack on Joey).
Changes to the English Version
- Cut from the US version a shot of the Rare Hunter falling after being struck by lightning, and a column of rock falling on his opponent.
- The shot of Selket eating Jinzo is replaced in the US version by a shot of Jinzo getting all glowy in the Beast's grasp.
- Cut from the US version shots of the gang reacting to Jinzo getting eaten.
- Selket eating Insect Queen has been altered in the dub.
- Honda about to throw up is cut from the dub.
- The blood on Malik's leg is digitized out of the US version, as well as the shot of Odion's knife lodged into the cobra.
- Marik's father beating up Odion is cut from the dub.
- Odion about to kill Marik with a knife is cut out from the dub.
- A close-up of Marik's back is cut out from the dub.
- Cut from the US version, Marik's father throwing a candle at Odion.
- Cut from the dub, Ishizu praying for Marik.
- Marik's father heating the knife blade for the ritual is cut from the dub.
- Cut from the dub shadows on the wall showing Marik's father carving the ritual symbols on Marik's back and Marik suffering.
- Cut from the dub, Odion planning his own ritual.

- The words "TO BE CONTINUED" are added at the end of the dub episode.
- Not so much an edit to this episode, but in the flashback to "Friends 'til the End", it uses the Japanese footage of the duel, i.e. Hinotama strikes Yugi and leaves him smoking, rather than the dub editing the episodes to remove the Hinotama strikes.
