"Dark Maneuvers...!!", titled "Secret Maneuvers...!!" (あんやく。。。!! An'yaku) in the Japanese version, is the fifteenth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga.

This chapter was first printed on October 21, 2010 in the 12/2010 issue of the V Jump magazine. It was later reprinted in the American Shonen Jump magazine, and in volume 2 of the tankōbon.

Summary[edit]

The second round of the D1GP finally starts. Goodwin and Lazar are looking for a shadow card believed to be possessed by Yusei. Yusei's second match is against Hunter Pace who plays a dirty trick on his Duel Runner. Hunter is coming up with a plan to beat Yusei not by lowering his Life Points, but by taking his speed and sense.

Featured Duel: Yusei Fudo vs. Hunter Pace[edit]

Turn 1: Hunter Pace
Hunter Pace Sets a card. He then Normal Summons "Sign Vehicle" (0/1700) in Defense Position.

Turn 2: Yusei Fudo
Yusei Normal Summons "Junk Blader" (1800/1000) in Attack Position. He declares an attack with "Junk Blader" towards "Sign Vehicle" but due to the latter's effect, Hunter Pace discards 1 card to negate the attack.

Turn 3: Hunter Pace
Hunter Pace Normal Summons "Gate Vehicle" (0/2000) in Defense Position. He then attacks Yusei directly with "Sign Vehicle" due to its effect (Yusei 4000).

Duel continues in the next Ride.
