"Dark Meister" is the one hundred and ninth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on May 19, 2024.

Someone has awakened in the dark vortex filled with dark matter. The man ends up in the Dark Matter Empire somehow... He is then brought to the castle, where he receives a Duel Disk and a Deck from the Dark Meister, the ruler of the empire. The two then have a conversation through a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Zuwijo
Zuwijo's hand contains "Voidvelgr Hecatoncheir", "Voidvelgr Kataphraktos", "Voidvelgr Peltast", "Voidvelgr Hoplites" and "Voidvelgr Pale Rider". Zuwijo Normal Summons "Kataphraktos" (1000/1000) and "Peltast" (0/1500). As "Kataphraktos" was Normal Summoned this turn and Zuwijo has a face-up DARK Attribute monster other than it on his field, he activates its effect to send the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he sent a monster to the Graveyard this way, he can add a Level 8 Galaxy Type monster from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo sends "Voidvelgr Requiem" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Requiem" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo Tributes "Kataphraktos" and "Peltast" to Tribute Summon "Requiem" (2500/2000). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Requiem", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the number of face-up DARK Attribute monsters on his field x 300 until the end of this turn, then it gains additional 600 ATK until the end of this turn if the Dark Meister has a face-up LIGHT Attribute monster on her field. Zuwijo sends "Universtorm" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Requiem": 2500/2000 → 2800/2000). Zuwijo Normal Summons "Pale Rider" (1600/0) and "Hoplites" (1500/100). Zuwijo Tributes "Pale Rider" and "Hoplites" to Tribute Summon "Hecatoncheir" (2000/2600). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Hecatoncheir", changing it from Attack Position to face-up Defense Position to inflict 500 damage to the Dark Meister, then if Zuwijo has a face-up Level 8 monster on his field, he can change the battle position of a face-up Galaxy Type monster on his field. Zuwijo changes "Hecatoncheir" to Defense Position (Dark Meister: 4000 → 3500 LP). As Zuwijo ends his turn, the ATK of "Requiem" returns to normal ("Requiem": 2800/2000 → 2500/2000).

Turn 2: Dark Meister
The Dark Meister's hand contains "Fusion", "Dark Matter Dragon", "Dark Matter Cold Drake" and two copies of "Dark Matter Power Lizard". The Dark Meister Sets "Power Lizard". The Dark Meister Normal Summons "Cold Drake" (1000/1300). As "Cold Drake" was Normal Summoned this turn and the Dark Meister has a face-down monster on her field, she activates its effect to send cards from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of monsters on Zuwijo's field, then the Dark Meister can Special Summon a DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster with 1300 DEF from among the cards sent to her field in face-up Defense Position or face-down Defense Position. The Dark Meister sends "Dark Matter Parallel Pod" and "Power Lizard" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard, then Special Summons "Power Lizard" (1300/1300) from her Graveyard in Defense Position. The Dark Meister Tributes "Cold Drake" and "Power Lizard" to Tribute Summon "Dragon" (2500/1300). The Dark Meister Sets "Power Lizard". The Dark Meister Sets "Fusion" in her Spell & Trap Zone. As "Dragon" was Normal Summoned or Special Summoned during this Main Phase, the Dark Meister activates its effect, sending the top card of her Deck to the Graveyard to destroy face-up Level 8 or lower monsters on Zuwijo's field up to the number of face-down monsters on the Dark Meister's field. The Dark Meister sends "Dark Matter Reactive Cylinder" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard and destroys "Hecatoncheir" and "Requiem". "Dragon" attacks Zuwijo directly (Zuwijo: 4000 → 1500 LP).

Turn 3: Zuwijo
Zuwijo draws "Void Corridor", "Eclipse", "Void Reactive Nova", "Void Dust Fusion" and "Voidvelgr Universtella". Zuwijo Normal Summons "Universtella" (100/100). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Universtella", shuffling three DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck, including a Normal Monster, to destroy a Spell/Trap Card on the Dark Meister's field and send "Universtella" from Zuwijo's field to the Graveyard, then if he destroyed a Spell Card this way, he can add a "Universtorm" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo shuffles "Pale Rider", "Peltast" and "Kataphraktos" from his Graveyard into the Deck, destroys the Dark Meister's face-down "Fusion" and sends "Universtella" from his field to the Graveyard, then adds "Universtorm" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo activates the Spell Card "Void Dust Fusion", shuffling a DARK Attribute Galaxy Type Normal Monster from his Graveyard into the Deck to Fusion Summon a DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster by shuffling DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck as material, but this turn he can only attack with the monster Special Summoned this way. Zuwijo shuffles "Hoplites" from his Graveyard into the Deck, shuffles "Requiem" and "Hecatoncheir" from his Graveyard into the Deck and Fusion Summons "Voidvelgr Gehennamagia" (3400/2500) in Attack Position. Zuwijo activates the effect of "Gehennamagia", sending up to two cards from his hand to the Graveyard to return face-down cards from the Dark Meister's field to the owner's hand up to the number of cards sent to the Graveyard this way, then if Zuwijo sent two Normal Spell Cards to the Graveyard this way, neither player can activate Spell Cards until the end of the Dark Meister's next turn. Zuwijo sends "Void Corridor" and "Eclipse" from his hand to the Graveyard and returns both of the Dark Meister's face-down copies of "Power Lizard" from her field to her hand. Zuwijo Sets "Void Reactive Nova" and "Universtorm" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Gehennamagia" attacks and destroys "Dragon" (Dark Meister: 3500 → 2600 LP).

Turn 4: Dark Meister
The Dark Meister draws "Contact Dark Matter Wyvern" and two copies of "Cold Drake". The Dark Meister Sets "Power Lizard". The Dark Meister Tributes her face-down "Power Lizard" to Tribute Summon "Wyvern" (1500/1300). As "Wyvern" was Normal Summoned this turn by Tributing a face-down monster, the Dark Meister activates its effect to send a card from her hand to the Graveyard, then she can Special Summon a "Dragon" from her Graveyard face-up to her field. The Dark Meister sends "Power Lizard" from her hand to the Graveyard, then Special Summons "Dragon" (2500/1300) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. The Dark Meister shuffles "Dragon" and "Wyvern" from her field into her Deck to Contact Fusion "Dark Matter Emperor Dragon" (3000/2500) in Attack Position. The Dark Meister Sets two copies of "Cold Drake". As the Dark Meister has a face-down monster on her field, she activates the effect of "Emperor Dragon" to destroy two face-down cards on the field, and she increases its ATK by 2000 this turn. The Dark Meister destroys Zuwijo's face-down "Void Reactive Nova" and his face-down "Universtorm" ("Emperor Dragon": 3000/2500 → 5000/2500). "Emperor Dragon" attacks and destroys "Gehennamagia" (Zuwijo: 1500 → 0 LP).
