"Captain Epoch" is the one-hundredth and fifth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!. It first aired in Japan on April 21, 2024.

A relief package has arrived on the Valvelgear. However, what the crew finds isn't supplies, but rather, Manabu and Nyandestar. Everyone on the Valvelgear has been losing their minds from eating the same flavor of curry bread over and over again, and so, more chaos breaks out as they fight over a single sweet treat. Epoch and Manabu then Duel against each other to decide who should be captain and get the Valvelgear under control!

Featured Duel: Ehoko "Epoch" Kamijo vs Manabu Sogetsu[edit]

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Epoch
Epoch's hand contains "Dice Kiss", two copies of "Dice Demon", "Skull Dice" and "Dice Archdemon". Epoch Normal Summons two copies of "Dice Demon" (600/0). Epoch Tributes both copies of "Dice Demon" to Tribute Summon "Dice Archdemon" (2400/1500). Epoch Sets "Dice Kiss" and "Skull Dice" in her Spell & Trap Zones.

Turn 2: Manabu
Manabu's hand contains "Fusion", "Chemicalize Despise", "Chemicalize Salamander", "Doctor Red Robe" and "Hot the Combustion Spirit". Manabu Normal Summons "Hot" (800/900) and "Doctor Red Robe" (1500/0). As "Hot" was Normal Summoned this turn, Manabu activates its effect to send cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of different Types among the face-up monsters on his field, and if he sent two or more Pyro Type monsters to the Graveyard this way, he draws a card. Manabu sends "Blast Examiner" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Manabu Tributes "Doctor Red Robe" and "Hot" to Tribute Summon "Chemicalize Salamander" (2500/1500). Manabu activates the effect of "Chemicalize Salamander", shuffling three Pyro Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to decrease the ATK of all face-up monsters on Epoch's field by the number of monsters in her Graveyard x 100 until the end of this turn. Manabu shuffles "Hot", "Doctor Red Robe" and "Blast Examiner" from his Graveyard into the Deck ("Dice Archdemon": 2400/1500 → 2200/1500). Manabu Sets "Fusion" and "Chemicalize Despise" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Chemicalize Salamander" attacks "Dice Archdemon". As Manabu's monster declared an attack, Epoch activates her face-down Trap Card "Skull Dice" to roll a six-sided die, and she decreases the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters on Manabu's field by the result x 100 until the end of this turn. Epoch tries to cheat to roll a six but rolls a one ("Chemicalize Salamander": 2500/1500 → 2400/1400). The attack continues and "Dice Archdemon" is destroyed (Epoch: 4000 → 3800 LP). As Manabu ends his turn, the ATK and DEF of "Chemicalize Salamander" return to normal ("Chemicalize Salamander": 2400/1400 → 2500/1500).

Turn 3: Epoch
Epoch draws "Dice Key Caramail", "Dicemite Girl Chirori", "Dice Key Minna" and two copies of "Dice Angel". Epoch Normal Summons two copies of "Dice Angel" (0/600). Epoch Tributes both copies of "Dice Angel" to Tribute Summon "Chirori" (2400/1600). Epoch activates the effect of "Chirori" to roll a six-sided die, and until the end of this turn decrease its ATK by 1000 if the result is one or two, increase its ATK by 600 if the result is three or four, or increase its ATK by the original ATK of a face-up monster on Manabu's field if the result is five or six. Epoch rolls a three ("Chirori": 2400/1600 → 3000/1600). Epoch Normal Summons "Minna" (1200/0) and "Caramail" (300/1200). As Epoch has a face-up monster with an effect that requires a die roll on her field, she activates the effect of "Minna", sending the top card of her Deck to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of all face-up monsters on her field by 600 until the end of Manabu's next turn, then she can add a Fairy Type monster with 300 ATK/1200 DEF from her Graveyard to her hand. Epoch sends an unknown card from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard ("Caramail": 300/1200 → 900/1200; "Chirori": 3000/1600 → 3600/1600; "Minna": 1200/0 → 1800/0). The Continuous Effect of "Caramail" prevents Manabu from activating Trap Cards during the Battle Phase while Epoch has a face-up Level 7 or higher monster with an effect that requires a die roll on her field. "Chirori" attacks and destroys "Chemicalize Salamander" (Manabu: 4000 → 2900 LP). "Minna" and "Caramail" attack Manabu directly (Manabu: 2900 → 1100 → 200 LP). As Epoch ends her turn, the ATK of "Chirori" returns to normal ("Chirori": 3600/1600 → 3000/1600).

Turn 4: Manabu
Manabu draws "Chemicalize Tropos Rapier", "Chromatographagas", "Super Assistant Achi", "Super Assistant Biri" and "Super Assistant Hiya". Manabu Normal Summons "Biri" (0/1000), "Hiya" (0/1000) and "Achi" (0/1500). Manabu Tributes "Biri" and "Hiya" to Tribute Summon "Chromatographagas" (2500/1600). Manabu activates his face-down Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from his field to the Graveyard as material. Manabu sends "Achi" and "Chromatographagas" from his field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Super Graphagas Archer" (3000/2500) in Attack Position. As Manabu Normal or Special Summoned a face-up Level 7 or higher monster, Epoch activates her face-down Trap Card "Dice Kiss", returnning up to two monsters from her field to the owner's hand to roll a six-sided die, and increase the ATK of a face-up monster on her field by the result x the number of the monsters returned this way x 100 until the end of this turn. Epoch returns "Caramail" and "Minna" from her field to her hand, rolls a six and chooses "Chirori" ("Chirori": 3000/1600 → 4200/1600). Manabu activates the Equip Spell Card "Chemicalize Tropos Rapier", shuffling three Pyro/Aqua/Thunder Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck and equipping it to a face-up monster on the field to decrease its ATK by 1000, but prevent it from being destroyed by Trap Card effects, and if it is a Maximum Monster, it can attack directly. Manabu shuffles "Hiya", "Biri" and "Achi" from his Graveyard into the Deck and equips "Chemicalize Tropos Rapier" to "Chirori" ("Chirori": 4200/1600 → 3200/1600). Manabu activates the effect of "Super Graphagas Archer", placing a Level 7 Pyro Type Normal Monster from his Graveyard on top of his Deck to increase its ATK by 2500 until the end of this turn, then he can decrease the ATK of a face-up Level 9 or lower monster on Epoch's field by 1500 until the end of this turn. Manabu places "Chromatographagas" from his Graveyard on top of his Deck ("Super Graphagas Archer": 3000/2500 → 5500/2500), then chooses "Chirori" ("Chirori": 3200/1600 → 1700/1600). "Super Graphagas Archer" attacks and destroys "Chirori" (Epoch: 3800 → 0 LP).
