Featured Duels
Dennis Macfield and Yuya Sakaki vs. Ken Umesugi and Shin Takeda
Duel continues from the previous episode.
In response to the effect of Shin's Template:Monster, Dennis activates the effect of Template:Monster, during either player's turn when a card or effect that would inflict effect damage is activated, by discarding this card, he could negate that effect. Thus saving Yuya. But because he wasn't still part of the Duel yet, Dennis receives a penalty of 2000 Life Points (Dennis 4000 → 2000).
Turn 4: Dennis
Shin finds and activates the Action Card "Flame Ball", which inflicts 200 damage to his opponent. In response, Dennis activates the effect of Template:Monster from his hand, whose effect allows him to Special Summon it from his hand during either player's turn, when a card or effect that would inflict effect damage is activated and also make that effect damage 0. Ken also finds and activates another "Flame Ball", and similar Dennis negates it and Special Summons another copy of "Flame Eater" from his hand via its own effect. He then overlays his two Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon Template:Monster in Attack Position, whose effect makes any effect damage lower than or equal to it ATK becomes 0.
Turn 5: Yuya
Yuya places "Pendulum Statue Red Angel" in the left Pendulum Zone ( ) and "Pendulum Statue Red Devil" in the right Pendulum Zone ( ). He Pendulum Summons Template:Monster and Template:Monster from his hand in Attack Position. He then overlays his two Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon Template:Monster in Attack Position. Dennis activates the other effect of "Trapeze Wizard", by detaching an Overlay Unit and targeting 1 monster on the field, that monster can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. Dennis selects "Dark Rebellion" as the target, allowing it to attack twice in the Battle Phase. Yuya activates the effect of "Dark Rebellion", detaching an Overlay Unit to halve the ATK of a Level 5 or higher monster his opponent controls and add that amount to its own ATK. He selects "Fuujin" as the first target ("Fuujin" 3000 → 1500) and adds that amount to its own ATK ("Dark Rebellion" 2500 → 4000). Yuya activates the effect again, this time targeting Template:Monster ("Raijin" 3000 → 1500) and adding that amount to its own ATK ("Dark Rebellion" 4000 → 5500). "Dark Rebellion" attacks and destroys both "Fuujin" and "Raijin" (Shin 4000 → 0; Ken 4000 → 0).
