The Cure Maiden

The Cure Maiden is a franchise in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime that Manya Atachi starred in. Initially a one-off show, it became unexpectedly popular and was adapted into a film and a full television series. The original show was Manya's first successful role after 88 unsuccessful auditions, and launched her career into stardom.

Overview

The main character, the titular Cure Maiden, is a child doctor with healing abilities; the series details her struggles. Her catchphrase is "The cost of treatment is your heart". Manya Atachi's ace monster, "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden" is directly based on this role.
