Owner(s)

The Star Shuttle Rush, known as the Mutsuba Proto-Spaceship RUSH in the Japanese version, is a spacecraft prototype constructed by Mutsuba Heavy Machinery in the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime. Yuga Ohdo and his friends use it to travel to the Moon to stop the lunar Goha Enterprises Drones from overloading the Goha Duel Server, as all other spacecraft had been disabled by a city-wide Pauli effect.

After returning his friends to Star Six, Yuga uses this spacecraft during Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!.

Design[edit]

Structure[edit]

The Star Shuttle Rush resembles a hybrid of a space shuttle and a super heavy-lift launch vehicle; the front portion is reusable and capable of reentry to Earth's atmosphere, which the larger back section serves the purpose of launching the spacecraft and detaches once its fuel is expanded outside Earth's atmosphere.[1]

Due to the age of the vehicle, it was decided a highly explosive fuel was needed. Romin Kassidy's Dragias Curry and Prima Guitarna Curry, known for their explosive properties when disturbed or mixed, were cooked in vast quantities and contained within colored tanks on both sections of the craft that could disperse the curry into the engines, provided the sufficient propellent to launch the spacecraft.[1]

The spacecraft was launched along a track constructed in a single night that curved down and then up a nearby hillside. After the curries are mixed, the spacecraft is propelled along the track down the hill and then up the next hillside. Once it has reached the end of the vertical track, the launch sequence continues under its own power until it breaks through the stratosphere. Afterwards the rear section is ejected and the shuttle continues its flight using its own curry reservoirs.[1]

History[edit]

Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS[edit]

Due to Yuga Ohdo's Original Duel Development Road, multiple Dueling formats were created in the Goha Duel Server, resulting in physical representations of the formats being sculpted on the surface of the Moon by the lunar Goha Enterprises Drones stationed there. At Nail Saionji's suggestion, Lucidien "Luke" Kallister triggered a massive Pauli effect using the cache of wristwatches under Goha #7 Elementary, deactivating all the machinery in Goha City, including the commands being sent to the Drones.[2]

The Hyper-Pauli effect also deactivated most spacecraft in Goha City, including Star Six, so Asana Mutsuba suggested using this craft to reach the Moon. Due to the age of the craft it was determined to require Romin Kassidy's Dragias Curry and Prima Guitarna Curry as fuel, so vast quantities were mixed and the spacecraft modified to contain and disperse them. After successfully launching the next day, Yuga, Luke, Romin, Gavin Sogetsu, Roa Kassidy, Nail and Asana travelled to the Moon, but were attacked by the Otes Robot. After evading the Otes Robot's thrown meteors, the Star Shuttle Rush was docked into the Super Rush Robot and connected its Curry Drive to the robot, allowing Luke, Romin, Gavin, Roa, Nail and Asana to control the Super Rush Robot using the Goha Six's crowns while Yuga Rush Dueled Otes.[1]

After the Otes Robot fled to the far side of the Moon due to Celestia Noodlina, Terra Kneadalina, Prioria Sweetalina, Oceania Illumilina, Ghostia Taxilina and Konvoy Sagawa believing their end of work time had arrived, Yuga removed his friends from the Star Shuttle Rush and placed them on Star Six with the Super Rush Robot, knowing the latter was reaching its limits. However, Luke refused to allow Yuga to go alone and used The Lukeman to catch up to him, Dueling him about the Star Shuttle Rush.[3] Yuga eventually defeated Luke with a new "Sevens Road Magician" that he had created from his Duel ID card and gave it to Luke before ejecting him from the Star Shuttle Rush. Afterwards, Yuga travelled to the other side of the Moon to resume his Rush Duel with Otes. As Yuga had given his Duel ID card to Luke, he was forced to propel the Super Rush Robot and the Otes Robot into hyperspace to finish the Rush Duel before they could enter the range of the Goha Duel Server and disqualify Yuga; this destroyed both Robots, but the Star Shuttle Rush survived.[4]

Two years later, Yuga returned to Earth in the Star Shuttle Rush.[4]

Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!![edit]

Yuga and Kaizo were transported back in time within the Star Shuttle Rush, crashing into Zaidavelgear as it arrived at Earth. Both ships crashed on the outskirts of Mutsuba Town, where Yuga met the captain of the other ship, Zuwijo zir Velgear.[5]

The Star Shuttle Rush was repaired and kept aboard Zaidavelgear. After Yuga took possession of the ship in his efforts to prevent the creation of "Monster Reborn", Yuga's ancestor Yuamu Ohdo experienced Yuga's memories of "Monster Reborn" when Yuhi Ohdo activated the card during his Rush Duel with Yuga. Yuamu and Yudias Velgear took over the Rush Duel for Yuga and Yuhi respectively after Yuhi's Maximum Summon of "Super Galaxy King Lord of Galactica" caused a rift in space-time to open, and Yuamu returned to Yuga and Kaizo aboard Zaidavelgear after losing to Yudias. As Zaidavelgear fell into the rift, Yuamu found the Star Shuttle Rush aboard and loaded Yuga and Kaizo onto it to send them back to Yuga's time. With the aid of The☆Lugh, Rovian Kirishima, Manabu Sogetsu, London Kirishima, Zaion and Asaka Mutsuba, Yudias and the Ohdo twins succeeded in sending Yuga home in the Star Shuttle Rush.[6]
