料理人（りょうりにん）の父（ちち）を持（も）つ。

彼（かれ）の発表（はっぴょう）している料理（りょうり）レシピは日々（ひび）の献立（こんだて）に悩（なや）む奥様方（おくさまがた）から絶大（ぜつだい）な支持（しじ）を得（え）ており、遊矢（ゆうや）の母親（ははおや）・洋子（ようこ）も彼（かれ）の大（だい）ファン。

He publishes cooking recipes which have received tremendous amounts of approval and support from housewives concerned about everyday meals, with Yuya's mother Yuko also being a huge fan of his.
His nickname is Mitchie.

He proudly claimed to have perfected recipes both for cooking and for dueling, but during his duel against Yuya, he was reminded of an important teaching of his father - "continuous innovation is the key to perfection".
Having corrected his arrogant attitude, he now looks forward to meeting Yuya again in the Junior Youth Championship.
