The Nex Chazz, known as Revival! Manjoume Thunder in the Japanese version, is the twenty-fourth episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. It aired in Japan on March 16, 2005, and in the US on December 9, 2005.

Summary

Far off in the sea, Chazz Princeton was stranded on his sinking boat. The only thing he wanted was one more chance to defeat Jaden Yuki. He started imagining that Jaden was taunting him and he ended up falling off the boat and getting carried off by the riptide. He woke up in a submarine, with a little yellow duel spirit, Ojama Yellow, floating around him. There was also a strange masked man sitting across from him. The masked man was looking at Chazz's cards, and when he went to give them back, he dropped them in the water. Chazz got angry at him, but then the man said that Chazz won't need the cards for the test he is about to endure, and launched him out of the submarine.

Chazz ended up on an arctic island, where there was a large building in the distance. When he got there, there was two large wooden doors and an old man sitting by a fire. The old man explained that they won't open the doors because thats how things work at North Academy. Chazz realized that he arrived at Duel Academy's rival school, and the old man said that he needs 40 cards to get in. The cards are hidden around the island, amongst the icecaps and glaciers. The old man couldn't finish it, yet he had 39 cards already. Chazz took the challenge and searched the entire island. After finding the 40 cards, he went back to the old man and said he found 41 cards, one to give to him. He tried to give the old man the "Ojama Yellow" card, but the spirit wouldn't let him, so he just gave the old man another card and waited outside the doors. Chazz actually only found 40 cards, but then he saw the old man left behind a magic card, so Chazz took it and used the 40 cards to get in the North Academy.

Inside was a strange western town. The old man was pushed out of a building, and when Chazz picked him up, he was surrounded by 50 students and their leader, a guy in a rocking chair named Czar. At North Academy, new students have to face the 50-man duel gauntlet, where they duel 50 students and when they lose that's their rank. Chazz took the challenge and left and right, he defeated over 40 students. The four duelists were defeated and Chazz challenged the last one, Czar, who believed he could win because he's seen almost all of Chazz's cards. After winning, the masked man from the submarine congratulated Chazz for his victory. He took off his mask to reveal himself as the old man as well. His name was Foster, North Academy's Chancellor. Now that Chazz is the number one student in North Academy, he's going to represent their school in the school duel against Duel Academy. Foster also explained that Chazz may hate "Ojama Yellow", but he'll soon realize how important it is soon. He also announced that Chazz will be dueling Jaden in the school duel, so this is his chance for revenge.

Students' Turn

• Each take a seperate turn, but each do the exact same thing - summon a "Marauding Captain, using it's effect to summon another one. This results in eight "Marauding Captains" on the field.

Chazz's Turn

• Summons "Giant Rat" (1400/1450)
• Sets two cards

Student 1's Turn

• Activates "The A. Forces", increasing the ATK of all the "Marauding Captains" by 1600 (2800/400)
• Attacks "Giant Rat"
• Chazz activates "Giant Rat's" effect and Special Summons "Gyaku-Gire Panda" (800/1600)
• "Gyaku-Gire Panda's" ATK is increased by 500 for every Monster on the opponent's side of the field (4800/1600)
• Chazz activates "Ring of Destruction" and "Ring of Defense", destroying "Gyaku-Gire Panda" and inflicting 4800 damage to each player, but Chazz takes no damage (Student 1 0) (Student 2 0) (Student 3 0) (Student 4 0)

• Activates two "Fiend's Sanctuary", summoning two "Metal Fiend Tokens" (0/0 each)
• Tributes the two Tokens to summon "Zoa" (2600/1900) in attack position
• Sets two cards

• Summons "Ojama Yellow" (0/1000) in defense position
• Sets two cards

Czar's Turn

• Activates "Metalmorph" and equips it to "Zoa", increasing its ATK by 300 (2900/1600)
• Tributes "Zoa" to Special Summon "Metalzoa" (3000/2300) from his Deck
• Activates "Call of the Haunted" to Special Summon "Zoa" (2600/1700)
• Attacks "Ojama Yellow" with "Zoa"
• Attacks directly with "Metalzoa" (Chazz 1000)
