Beginner's Edition 1 (2011) is the first reprint set of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL era. This is followed by Beginner's Edition 2 (2011).

Features[edit]
This set is based on the original 2004 Beginner's Edition 1, containing a selection of cards from that set. Additionally, it includes 5 Secret Rare cards that were not in the original set.
The original Beginner's Edition 1 is a selection of cards from the reprint sets Duelist Legacy Volume.1, Duelist Legacy Volume.2, and the first half of Duelist Legacy Volume.3. The Duelist Legacy sets themselves are reprint sets, so reprint cards from other sets.

- Despite being a ZEXAL set, this set's arrangement of cards follows the same arrangement as the very old sets during Yugi's era, where Spells and Traps are randomly placed between monsters.
