Jaden's confrontation with Yubel continues, and Jaden takes hold of the dormant powers of The Supreme King within himself to mount a comeback.
Summary
This summary is currently incomplete. |
Jaden reawakens the dormant powers of The Supreme King inside his own mind as he continues his final Duel with Yubel. Jaden declares that since Yubel was affected by The Light of Destruction, he will call out his friends from the darkness - the "Neo-Spacians". In the Japanese version, Yubel finally accepts that Judai will never agree with her twisted view of love, Yubel resolves to fuse the twelve dimensions, ending existence altogether. In the English version, she does not abandon her goal, but aims to fuse the twelve dimensions to unite her and Jaden forever. She now intends to fuse the twelve dimensions together to destroy them, rather than to rule over them with Jaden at her side. Yubel counters Jaden's every move, and is eventually able to Summon her evolved form "Yubel - Terror Incarnate". Yubel confirms that Syrus was correct - Jaden's friends are not dead, but trapped in another dimension. Jaden Summons "Rainbow Neos".
Featured Duel: Jaden vs. Yubel
Duel continues from the previous episode.
Turn 8: Jaden
- Activates "Neo-Space Wave", Tributing Elemental Heroes "Sparkman", Avian" and "Burstinatrix" to Special Summon Neo-Spacians "Aqua Dolphin" (600/800), "Air Hummingbird" (800/600) and "Glow Moss" (300/900).
- As "Neo-Space Wave" resolved successfully, Yubel's "Spell Chronicle" gains a Chronicle Counter.
- Activates "NEX", allowing him to Tribute a "Neo-Spacian" monster and Special Summon a Level 4 Fusion Monster from his Deck, as long as it shares the same name as the Tributed monster. He tributes his "Neo-Spacian Glow Moss" to Special Summon "Neo-Spacian Twinkle Moss" (500/1100).
- "Spell Chronicle" has 2 Chronicle Counters and cannot gain a third, as 2 is its maximum capacity.[Notes 1]
- "Air Hummingbird's" effect allows Jaden to gain 500 Life Points for every card Yubel holds; since she holds 3 cards, he gains 1500 Life Points (Jaden: 1000 → 2500).
- Attacks with "Neo-Spacian Twinkle Moss" and draws 1 card due to its effect. It gains a different effect depending on the drawn card. He draws and shows Yubel "Space Gift" (a Spell Card). As such, "Twinkle Moss" can attack Yubel directly (Yubel: 3900 → 3400).
- Activates "Space Gift", allowing him to draw 3 cards, as he controls 3 differently named "Neo-Spacian" monsters.[Notes 2]
- Sets a card
Turn 9: Yubel
- Removes 2 Chronicle Counters from "Spell Chronicle" and activates its effect. Jaden chooses to add "Fiend Rose" to Yubel's hand.
- Attacks "Aqua Dolphin" twice with "Yubel": once normally, and again via "Zero Sprite's" effect (Jaden: 2500 → 1900 → 1300).
- Sets 2 cards.
- "Samsara Lotus" (0/0) Special Summons itself from Yubel's Graveyard.[Notes 3]
- Tributes "Samsara Lotus" so that "Yubel" can remain on the field.
Turn 10: Jaden
- Uses "Air Hummingbird's" effect again, regaining 500 Life Points for each card Yubel holds; she still holds 3 cards, so he gains another 1500 Life Points (Jaden: 1300 → 2800)
- Summons "Card Ejector" (400/400)
- "Card Ejector's" effect allows Jaden to banish 1 target card from Yubel's Graveyard. He targets "Samsara Lotus".
- Yubel activates "Zero Hole", which negates the effect of "Card Ejector" and destroys it.
- Activates "Neo - Signal", which lets him Special Summon a "Neo-Spacian" monster from his Deck; he summons "Grand Mole" (900/300)
- "Grand Mole" attacks "Yubel": When "Grand Mole" is involved in a battle with an opposing monster, it can return both itself and the opposing monster to the respective owners' hands.
- Yubel activates "Hate Buster". Since a Fiend-Type monster she controlled was targeted in battle, she can destroy both her "Yubel" on the field and "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" and inflict damage to Jaden equal to the original ATK of "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" (Jaden: 2800 → 1900).
- With her "Yubel" destroyed by an effect besides its own, Yubel Special Summons "Yubel - Terror Incarnate"(0/0).[Notes 4]
- "Neo-Spacian Twinkle Moss" attacks, with Jaden drawing a card. He draws and shows Yubel "Elemental Hero Prisma" (a monster): the Battle Phase automatically ends.
- Sets a card.
Turn 11: Yubel
- "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" attacks "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin": like the original "Yubel", it is not destroyed by battle, and instead, Jaden takes all the damage Yubel would have taken from the battle (Jaden: 1900 → 1300).[Notes 5]
- "Samsara Lotus" (0/0) Special Summons itself from Yubel's Graveyard.
- Tributes "Samsara Lotus" to use "Yubel - Terror Incarnate's" effect, allowing her to destroy a number of Jaden's monsters equal to the amount of monsters that were Tributed. "Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird" is destroyed.[Notes 6]
Turn 12: Jaden
- Tributes "Aqua Dolphin" to Summon "Elemental Hero Prisma" (1700/1100) in Defense Position.[Notes 7]
- "Twinkle Moss" attacks, with Jaden drawing 1 card. He draws "Fake Hero" (a Spell Card): "Twinkle Moss" can attack Yubel directly (Yubel: 3400 → 2900).
Turn 13: Yubel
- "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" attacks "Prisma": Since "Prisma" is in Defense Position, its original DEF is dealt to Jaden as damage. (Jaden: 1300 → 200)
- "Samsara Lotus" (0/0) Special Summons itself from Yubel's Graveyard.
- Tributes "Samsara Lotus" to use "Yubel - Terror Incarnate's" effect and destroy "Neo-Spacian Twinkle Moss".
Turn 14: Jaden
- Activates "Fake Hero", allowing him to Summon an "Elemental Hero" monster from his hand, but it must return to his hand at the end of his turn; he chooses "Elemental Hero Neos" (2500/2000).
- "Spell Chronicle" gains a Chronicle Counter, due to the activation of "Fake Hero".
- Once per turn, "Elemental Hero Prisma" can be treated as a Fusion Material Monster, if Jaden reveals a Fusion Monster from his Fusion Deck and sends one of the Fusion Material Monsters from his Deck to the Graveyard. He targets "Rainbow Neos" in his Fusion Deck and sends "Rainbow Dragon" from his Deck to the Graveyard. Now, "Elemental Hero Prisma" gains the name "Rainbow Dragon" until the End Phase of his turn.[Notes 8]
- Activates "Polymerization", fusing "Elemental Hero Neos" and "Rainbow Dragon" to Fusion Summon "Rainbow Neos" (4500/3000).
- "Spell Chronicle" gains its second Chronicle Counter, due to the activation of "Polymerization".
Duel continues in the next episode.
