Turner, Flip |
Flip Turner is a Duelist Construct of Flip Turner from the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the opponent that the player faced in Stage 15-2 of the ZEXAL Campaign mode in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode.

Appearance
As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Flip Turner, and the outfit is what he wore during the World Duel Carnival in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime series. Also, this outfit becomes what Flip normally wore and used when he is not wearing his Heartland Academy uniform in the ZEXAL anime series.
Besides his outfit, Flip is wearing a glasses, and on the glasses' left side, there is a Duel Gazer attached to it. The Duel Gazer is a device that allows him to see and watch the augmented reality setting of a Duel.
Etymology
His given name "Flip" comes from the term "flip", meaning to turn over, or a complete change of direction or movement. His surname "Turner" comes from a occupation for people who uses the lathe to creates a object by using one of the known operation, turning. His entire name "Flip Turner" can be a nod to the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, as the name could comes from the term Flip monster and Flip effect, since the requirement to normally activate a Flip monster's effect is to turn them over from face-down to face-up.
In the French version, he is simply refers to as "Flip" while his surname "Turner" was omitted.
Rewards
There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.
