He Summon Summoned Skull in Attack Position and attack Harpie Lady but Mirror Wall activated again reduce Summoned Skull's ATK to 1250 and stop the attack.
Mai Kujaku's Turn
She played Harpie's Feather Duster sending yugi Face-Down Card (Spellbinding Circle) to the Graveyard.
Yugi Muto's Turn
He Changed Summoned Skull to Defense Position and Summon Feral Imp in Defense Position.
Mai Kujaku's Turn
Mai equipped Harpie Lady with Electro-Whip raising her ATK to 2100 and attack Feral Imp it's destroyed.
Yugi Muto's Turn
He Summon Torike in Defense Position.
Mai Kujaku's Turn
She Summon Harpie's Pet Dragon in Attack Position it's ATK raise to 2300 because of it's effect, it attack and destroyed Summoned Skull.
Production history
The Beautiful Trap! is the 56th chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist. In the Japanese manga it is the 115th chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh!. It was first printed in Japanese in the V Jump magazine. It was reprinted in volume 15 of the Japanese graphic novels and volume 7 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist graphic novels in English.
Anime adaption
This chapter was redone in the end of episode 29 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! second series anime. a number of changed were made include:
- Mai was still wear her jacket, also her top wasn't open, so her breasts weren't revealed in the middle. this is actually happened in the whole of the Duelist Kingdom arc.
- During the duel, Yugi still wear his jacket.
- The Duel goes on a large device instead of the hologram table. this is also happened in the whole of the Duelist Kingdom arc.
- All monsters that are summoned in Defense Position were Face-Down.
- Jounochi were about to fall from the top while he was talking with Mai.
- When Spellbinding Circle destroyed, a hologram of it appeared instead of Yugi himself showing it's card to Mai.
- Mai equipped Harpie Lady with Rose Whip instead of Electro-Whip.
