*Suddenly, Seto Kaiba arrives and declares a "dueling foul": Zigfried entered the tournament under a false name (in breach of KC Championship contract rules), and must therefore be disqualified. Seto exposes Zigfried as Zigfried von Schroeder and immediately orders him to leave.

*Suddenly, Seto Kaiba arrives.
*Zigfried calls Kaiba a coward, saying this is just a "technicality" excuse to prevent him from reaching the Championship crown. However, Kaiba tells him that "no one is going to kick you out" and challenges him to try to stand up to him in a Duel, to which Ziegfried quickly agrees. The featured Duel becomes Seto Kaiba vs. Zigfried von Schroeder.

*Kaiba already has knowledge of Zigfried unleashing a virus all over KaibaCorp's computer banks, giving him an advantage. To remedy this, Kaiba instead uses his Duel Disk connected to the Duel Stage with a USB cable, ensuring that they both play on fair terms.

*The exact effects of "Mischief of the Time Goddess", as well as the subtleties of its application, aren't fully explained:
**In the English Dub, Zigfried quotes: "Mischief of the Time Goddess" allows me to skip your turn, then I can pick off where I left off (...)".
+
** Siegfried reads the exact text of the Card: "Skip 1 Turn. My Turn to Battle Phase".
**In the original Japanese, Zigfried reads the exact text of the card instead: "Skip 1 turn. My turn to Battle Phase".
+
**It is believed the Card's text should be something along the lines of: "Immediately end current Turn: its remaining Phases, including the End Phase, are Skipped. Go directly to the Battle Phase of your next Turn". A full discussion on how this conclusion was reached can be found in the "Mischief of the Time Goddess" DISCUSSION Page.

FINAL Duel
Sieg Lloyd vs. Leon Wilson

 • The Duel is set in Blue-Eyes Dome, the big audience stadium of Kaiba's theme park Kaibaland. The winner will have the honour of playing against Yugi Muto.
 • Suddenly, Seto Kaiba arrives.
Seto Kaiba: "This is as far as it comes! As the organizer of this tournament, I announce a cancellation! And, also, Leon Wilson is declared automatic winner and will compete against the current King!"
 • The public moans in disappointment and Yugi & co. wonder what's going on. Leon is nevertheless glad that he'll be able to have a Duel with "Yuugi - san".
Sieg Lloyd: "Would you mind giving us an explanation? Mr. Kaiba."
Seto Kaiba: "There's no need for explanations. You lowlife are the one who clearly understands what's going on. Sieg Lloy... No! Siegfried von Schroeder!"
 • Kaiba then goes on listing the incidents organized by him and finds it laughable that Siegfried entered the KC Grand Prix with a fake name, him being the Schroeder Inc. president, the main European rival of Kaiba Corporation.
 • Siegfried calmly exposes that they're being filmed in live, so it's not like Kaiba's announcing that he fears Siegfried's company and thus is kicking him out.
 • However, Kaiba tells him that "no one is going to kick you out" and challenges him to try to stand up to him in a Duel, to which Ziegfried quickly agrees. The featured Duel becomes Seto Kaiba vs. Siegfried von Schroeder.

Notes

"Mischief of the Time Goddess":

 • During this episode and during his first Turn of the Duel, Siegfried declares an Attack on a defenseless Seto. Seto uses Trap Card "Negate Attack" to Negate it, but Siegfried then plays Spell Card "Mischief of the Time Goddess": the Duel seems to skip towards another Battle Phase for Siegfried, who then Attacks again. (Also, Siegfried names it a Quick-Play Spell Card in the Japanese version although the Card itself is missing its symbol: possibly an animation error.)
