The Revived Terror - Machine Emperor Wisel is the one-hundredth and eight episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.

Amidst the chaos in the city, Yusei and Placido duke it out. Placido says that the actions of Yliaster are their "God's Will". Placido who has combined with T-666, fights in the final evolutionary form of his Duel Runner. Against Placido, Yusei challenges him by Synchro summoning Junk Destroyer. As well, while trying to destroy Wisel, Yusei prepares his cards for later. As the only possible means of opposing the Machine Emperor, which is known as the Synchro Killer, Yusei attempts to perform an Accel Synchro after obtaining a new card. However, Yusei fails at this when he Synchro summons Stardust Dragon. Instead, Wisel absorbs Stardust and Yusei is attacked by it.

On the other hand, the lights in buildings across the city go out one after another, causing a massive blackout. Jack, Kazama, and the others question this. Finally, Akiza who is still in the Hospital, is aware that Yusei is fighting to save the city.

Yusei vs. Placido

Placido starts off with "Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity" as well as his speed counters, and face down cards

Yusei's turn
Yusei activates "Quickdraw Synchron"'s Effect discarding "Quillbolt Hedgehog" to Special Summon it to his field. Since he controls a Tuner Monster he can Special Summon"Quillbolt Hedgehog's through its effect from the Graveyard. To finish, he summons "Needle Gunner", and tune them together to Synchro Summon "Junk Destroyer". Due to its effect, 2 cards on Placido's side of the field are selected and destroyed. Yusei choose "Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity" and 1 card face-down in the Spell and Trap Card Zone. To counter this, Placido activates his face-down card "Fork - Divergence", which allows him to select another Machine-Type Monster on his side of the field to take on "Junk Destroyer"'s Effect. He selects "Wisel Carrier". Since "Wisel Carrier" cannot be destroyed by card effects, only is destroyed "Fork - Divergence". However, "Junk Destroyer" attacks "Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity", "Wisel Guard"'s effect activates, selecting it as the new attack target, which is destroyed quickly by "Junk Destroyer". When the Synchro Monster that used "Needle Gunner" as Synchro Material destroys a Defense Position Monster, it inflict Piercing Damage (Placido's LP: 4000 → 2600). To complete his turn, Yusei sets 2 card face-down and ends his turn.

Placido's turn
Placido summons "Wisel Guard 3" in Defense Position. Then, he activates "Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity"'s Effect that allows him to absorb "Junk Destroyer". In response, Yusei activates his Trap Card "Star Shift", which returns "Junk Destroyer" to the Extra Deck to Special Summon a Synchro Monster with his equal Level. Yusei choose and Special Summon "Stardust Dragon" in Attack Position. Since "Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity" and "Stardust Dragon" have the same ATK Points, Placido ends his turn setting 1 card face-down.

Yusei's turn
He summons "Bicular" and activates his face-down "A Leap to Awakening" removing from play "Stardust Dragon" and inflicting 800 points of damage to Placido (Placido's LP: 2600 → 1800). Ends his turn setting 1 face-down card.

Placido's turn
Activates his Trap card "Bomb Blast", which destroys "Wisel Carrier", and inflicts damage equal to its level times 400 to Yusei (Yusei's LP: 4000 → 3600). Later on, he summons "Skiel Carrier 3", only to release it and Special Summon "Skiel Carrier 5"
