Structure
Val-Valvelgear has a traditional Velgearian ship design, with twin engines on each side of the main body. The main body of the ship contains the land the ship was buried under and all the buildings on it, encased in an energy dome that can be tinted with the time of day to keep the residents accustomed to normality; the Alien Residential Area uses a similar "sky shield". The energy dome is surrounded by a golden frame, and five curved golden metal sections lie perpendicular to the "ground" outside the ship. The ship has a red section at its bow resembling goggles.
The ship has a ventral port that lies directly beneath Mutsuba Tower. Valivelgear connects to Val-Valvelgear by plugging its "head" into this port, allowing transport via elevator from Mutsuba Tower once Valivelgear is connected.
History
The Velgearian spaceship that would be dubbed Val-Valvelgear originally belonged to The Creator, who planned to visit Earth, the planet his origin Otes was from. However, the Creator was absorbed by Kuaidul Velgear, and Val-Valvelgear flew to Earth on autopilot and was buried beneath the ground.[1]
The ship's existence would surface in urban legend following the construction of Mutsuba Town over it, known as the Space Treasure, which would later be mistakenly attributed to one of Val-Valvelgear's exploration ships. The Alien Residential Area would also be constructed within the ship, subjected to its unusual gravity, though the residents had no idea they moved within an alien ship.[2]
Val-Valvelgear was activated by Yudias Velgear's convictions during his Rush Duel with Rovian Kirishima, which also caused the missing thruster of Valivelgear to reunite with the main ship. Val-Valvelgear enclosed Mutsuba Town within its dome and began its launch process, exiting Earth's atmosphere.[2] Valivelgear exited Val-Valvelgear's energy shield, and docked with the larger ship to act as propulsion, resulting in the larger ship being dubbed "Val-Valvelgear".[3]
