Marik Ishtar's Turn
- Sets a card.
- Summons "Lord Poison" (1500 ATK / 1000 DEF) in Attack Position.
- Switches "Newdoria" to Attack Position, and uses it to attack Seto's "Vorse Raider". "Newdoria" is destroyed, activating its special effect: Marik chooses to destroy Seto's "Vorse Raider".
- Activates Spell Card "Spell of Pain", transferring his Battle Damage to Joey (Joey: 4000 → 3300 Life Points). (NOTE: In the real game, "Spell of Pain" only works on Effect Damage).
Yami Yugi's Turn
- Tributes "Big Shield Gardna" to summon "Archfiend of Gilfer" (2200 ATK / 2500 DEF), and uses it to attack Seto directly.
- Seto activates Trap Card "Attack Guidance Armor", redirecting the attack to Marik's "Lord Poison".
- Marik activates Trap Card "Mirror Force" to negate the attack and destroy all monsters in Attack Position on Yugi's side of the field.
- Yugi activates Trap Card "Seven Tools of the Bandit", paying 1000 LP (Yugi: 4000 → 3000 Life Points) to negate and destroy "Mirror Force".
- Yugi's "Archfiend of Gilfer" destroys Marik's "Lord Poison" (Marik: 4000 → 3300 Life Points).
Joey Wheeler's Turn
- Summons "Gearfried the Iron Knight" (1800 ATK / 1600 DEF) and attacks Kaiba directly (Seto: 4000 → 2200 Life Points).
