"The Duel-Starved Amazoness" is the one-hundredth and seventh episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. It first aired in Japan on May 29, 2016.

Sayaka searches for Kite, who has disappeared after his Duel against Shay, all by herself. At the same time, the Tyler sisters Gloria and Grace reach the Xyz Dimension under Leo Akaba's orders. The sisters notice Sayaka and start a Duel against her. As she is pushed into a disadvantageous situation, her comrade Allen rushes in to help. The Tag-Duel against the Tyler sisters was much tougher than expected, and the two of them were overwhelmed! And then…!?

This Duel is conducted as a Tag-Team Duel, with each team sharing the same LP and field.

Turn 1: Allen
Allen Normal Summons "Ruffian Railcar" (1800 / 1000). He activates its effect, inflicting 500 damage at the cost of not being able to conduct his Battle Phase this turn (Gloria and Grace: 4000 → 3500).

Turn 2: Gloria
Gloria activates the effect of "Amazoness Scout" in her hand, revealing another "Amazoness" monster in her hand to Special Summon it. She revealed "Amazoness Queen" and Special Summons "Scout" in Attack Position (800/1200). Gloria Tributes "Scout" to Tribute Summon "Queen" (2400/1800). "Queen" attacks "Ruffian Railcar", but Allen activates the effect of "Construction Train Signal Red" in his hand, Special Summoning it in Defense Position (1000/1300) and redirecting the attack to it, with "Train Signal Red" being unable to be destroyed by battle this turn.

Turn 3: Sayaka
Sayaka draws "Fairy Powder". She Normal Summons "Little Fairy" (800/800). She activates its effect, which lets her send a card from her hand to the Graveyard to increase its Level by 1. She sends "Dancing Fairy" to the Graveyard. ("Little Fairy" File:CG Star.svg.png 3 → 4). Sayaka activates "Fairy Powder", which lets her change the type of a monster on the field to Fairy and increase its Level by 1 until the End Phase. She targets "Construction Train Signal Red" ("Construction Train Signal Red" File:CG Star.svg.png 3 → 4). Sayaka overlays her two Level 4 Fairy-Type monsters to Xyz Summon "Fairy Cheer Girl" (1900 / 1500) in Attack Position. As "Construction Train Signal Red" was used as an Overlay Unit for an Xyz Summon of a Fairy-Type monster, the other effect of "Fairy Powder" increases the ATK of "Fairy Cheer Girl" by 500 ("Fairy Cheer Girl" 1900 → 2400 ATK) and prevents its destruction by battle. "Fairy Cheer Girl" attacks "Queen", but the effect of "Queen" prevents the destruction of "Amazoness" monsters by battle. Sayaka Sets a card.

Turn 4: Grace
Grace activates "The Warrior Returning Alive" to return "Amazoness Scout" to her hand. Then she activates" Polymerization" by sending "Scout" and "Amazoness Tiger" to the graveyard to fusion summon "Amazoness Liger" (2500 / ???) in attack position. She attacks "Fairy Cheer Girl", At this time "Amazoness Liger" effect activates. If it attacks, it gains 500 ATK during the Damage Step only. ("Liger" 2500→3000 ATK). "Fairy Cheer Girl cannot be destroyed due to the effect of "Fairy Powder". (Allen and Sayaka: 4000→ 3400 LP). "Liger" effect activates. If an "Amazoness" monster you control attacks an opponent's monster, after damage calculation: The attacked monster loses 800 ATK. ("Cheer Girl" 2400→ 1600 ATK). "Queen" attacks "Cheer Girl". (Allen and Sayaka: 3400→ 2600 LP). "Liger" effect activates. ("Cheer Girl" 1600→ 800 ATK). She activates The Continuous Spell card "Amazoness Magical Mirror". During either player's turn, if you would take damage by an opponent's card effect: You can activate this effect; your opponent takes the effect damage from that effect, instead. She sets 1 Card.

Turn 5: Allen
Allen Normal summons "Express Train Trolley Olley". He overlays "Olley" and "Ruffian" to xyz summon "Heavy-Armored Train Iron Wolf"(2200 / 2200). Due to "Olley" effect, "Iron Wolf" gains 800 ATK points. ("Iron Wolf"2200→ 3000 ATK). He activates "Iron Wolf" effect by detching 1 overlay unit,1 Machine-Type monster he controls; this turn, it can attack directly. He attacks directly with "Iron Wolf". The tayler sisters activate "Liger" effect. When an opponent's monster declares an attack, except on this card: You can negate the attack. Allen activates "Cheer Girl" effect. By detching 1 overlay unit, he can Draw 1 card. He draws "Limiter Removal". Allen attacks "Liger". Grace activates the Trap "Amazoness Substitution". If an "Amazoness" monster you control is targeted for an attack: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Amazoness" monster from your hand, then change the attack target to that monster. Gloria special summon "Amazoness Swords Woman" (1500 / 1600) in attack position. Allen chain with "Limiter Removal" to double the ATK of all Machine-Type monsters he controls. ("Iron Wolf": 3000→ 6000 ATK). While "Queen" on the field, all "Amazoness" monsters cannot be destroyed by battle. Swords Woman effect activates. all battle damage goes to the opponent. Sayaka chain with the trap "Fairy Rail". During the Damage Step, if you would take battle damage: Detach 2 Xyz Materials from monsters you control, then target 1 "Fairy" monster you control; it gains ATK equal to the battle damage you would have taken, then make that battle damage to you 0. ( "Fairy Girl": 800→ 4500 ATK). Allen attacks "Liger" with "Cheer Girl". (Gloria and Grace: 3500→ 1500 LP). Due to "Fairy Rail" effect, If that monster attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of damage calculation. at the end of the turn "Limiter Removal" effect destroyes all machine-type monsters that their attacks were doubled.

Turn 6: Gloria
Gloria draws "polymerization" and subsequently activates it. she used "Queen" ans "Swords Woman" as Fusion-materials to Fusion summon "Amazoness Empress" (2800 / ???) in attack position. She attacks"Cherr Girl" with "Liger". It's effect activates. ("Liger": 2500→ 3000). Due to "Empress" effect, If an "Amazoness" monster you control attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. (Allen and Sayaka: 2600→ 1100 LP). Then she attacks with "Empress". (Allen and Sayaka: 1100→ 0 LP).

At the start of the Duel, the Field Spell Card "Cross Over" is activated, as per the rules of an Action Duel. It will allow the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time.
